Absolute JOKE of a clinic!!!! I went in there 2 days ago in desperate need of a diagnosis, and proper medication for a serious illness I had been battling for a week. To make a long story short, the medications I was given haven't done a damn thing, and here I am now on my way to the ER for a proper diagnosis since these uneducated FOOLS at MD NOW don't have a single clue what they are doing. Absolute waste of $200, and pending a phone call back from them tomorrow they damn well oughta refund me in full for their incompetence, and the absolute hell I've had to endure in the process. Do NOT come here, you're better suited just going to the ER and dealing with REAL doctors. UPDATE: they misdiagnosed me entirely, and had no business giving me the medications that they gave me, including an antibiotic (my infection was never bacterial). The nurses and doctors at the hospital scratched their heads in confusion when I told them how I was treated, they also said "this isn't uncommon for MD NOW" which was rather maddening. Imagine having that sort of reputation from a hospital's POV! They also told me, and I quote "MD NOW basically just puts everybody on the same medications". How pathetic is that!!! MD Now About 30 minutes ago we (my wife and I) as she has been really sick all morning with severe nausea throwing up and diarrhea. The person working the desk was incredibly unhelpful, apathetic and totally uncaring. We were struggling with the QR code sign in and the uploading of documents. Her attitude was so off-putting we both felt it walked out to find another option -which we did. Also, there was no one else in the waiting room and all of the parking spaces in front were empty. This is the second time I've been to the MD now in the last three months because I work in a salon and everybody comes in sick, the first one I was at was East Boca and I sat there for two hours patiently, I understand everybody needs to be seen and treated equally, but I was told once I got in the room that I was next, and I heard the doctor go in the room next to me in the room after that four or five times and then he stood in the hallway talking about the Super Bowl, so I sat in the room by myself for almost an hour. I came out and I asked for my co-pay back and I left I went to the one on your motto and they accommodated me. Yesterday I went to the one on your motto both over town and this doctor told me that he didn't see anything and he didn't feel anything. Meanwhile, my tonsil has a white pocket on it and it's super swollen and red. He didn't give me anything. He told me I'd be fine just to use Flonase, today I have 103 fever I have two swollen tonsils that are covered in white spots and I have to go back and pay for a co-pay again today cause I can't get with my regular doctor so I would say anybody that wants to go to MD now needs to think twice because they suck. I will make sure that I let everybody know my experience. I am a bartender in Boca and I'm my hairdresser in Delray so MD now I need to step it up or go out of business because it sucks ass. What a difference a doctor makes! I recently went here and saw Dr Diaz. He has excellent bedside manner. He's patient and informative. My hubby also saw him on dec25 for bad flu. He's doesn't like drs and he too felt comfortable and supported . The wait wasn't bad as I went first thing at 8am. It's a busy location so can get backed up but worth the wait for Dr Diaz ! read more

I really wish I would have read the yelp reviews before coming here! What a disaster! I'm typing sitting here in an exam room with stains on floor from last patient 20 minutes in addition to the 70 min wait time in the lobby due to the unprofessional staff! Children can manage this place better! The receptionist said I could wait in my car since ppl seemed very ill in the lobby with no masks on. Since I waited in car she said she didn't place me as ready! What that meant was I pause but wasn't told this. Then backtracked what she said and spoke to me rude! I'm now sitting waiting for the Dr and I overhear him asking the nurse about me asking if I'm next then went somewhere else never coming in! Finally got seen was not my type of doctor patient experience at all! But at least he followed up with me in couple days and was much nicer on phone. Checked in on line to get on the waiting list. Arrived at the advised time, only to be told the waiting list didn't matter, it would be a 2 hour wait and the Dr had just gone to lunch, no idea when he would return. Finished check in at 2 pm and was told I would be texted as soon as he was ready. At 3:48 pm received a text that he was ready. By then, we had already been admitted and seen at Delray ER. This clinic is useless. The receptionist was talking on her cell to someone the entire time we were checking in - very unprofessional. Don't bother. I sat waiting for about 30 minutes. Was brought back and the initial girl could have cares less and asked me if I want a test. I came here for guidance not to make the decision. Currently sitting in the room 30 minutes while they are arguing outside with what seemed to be another patients mother. They couldn't verify my coverage at the front although I own the company who selected the coverage for my employees and myself with Aetna. I asked if they could call the number on the card and they said they don't do that and that I have to pay $40 in good faith even though I showed them my policy information on the phone showing free urgent care. Not sure what's going on here but seems to be a lack of management effectiveness and employees allowed to run free. Not too happy right now. I came to this location to be tested for covid19. I was full of anxiety to begin with, so dealing with the snarky front desk girl was irritating. She lacked compassion, empathy and kindness. The facility is spotless. The nurse who tested me went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I liked her a lot. I was instructed to register online to get my results within a few days. I was tested on Monday afternoon and I received my results early this morning. I am negative-yay!!! If the front desk person behaved in a more professional manner, this would be a five star review. Like they say; one bad apple....blah, blah, blah. If I needed to return I would, hoping there would be a pleasant person sitting behind the front desk. Came here for a lower respiratory infection and sinus infection. Very unfriendly staff, receptionist was on the phone with a personal call on her earbuds the whole time. The lady who took me back was unprofessional, rude, and didn't speak clearly. Doctor might've spent 90 seconds examining me and quickly decided it was a bacterial sinus infection. I'm skeptical. Poorly managed as I had 103 fever and wanted a rapid test. They couldn't care less out of 3 hours there they saw 2 patients. I ended up getting a refund and left as the front desk person said although I was the only one in the waiting room that she didn't know when I would be seen. My 1 star is for cleanliness. I went to this MD Now on May 22nd for what was either a very swollen bug bite or an injury on my foot. As the name is MD Now, I assumed I would see an MD. Not a nurse practitioner. The front desk girl should be telling patients when they check in if there is not a real Dr on-site. She obviously did not or I would have gone somewhere else. When the person came in and said in her very broken English that she was the nurse practitioner I was taken aback as the other few times I have gone to this location I was seen by an MD. She looked at and felt my foot and said she felt nothing. I said really?????? I can't put it down flat on the ground because it's so swollen. I then told her to compare it to my other foot. She finally agreed it was swollen. She couldn't tell if it was from a bug bite or injury and said she couldn't X-ray it because there was no X-ray technician there today. She then prescribed an antibiotic, a pain pill (one that I can't take because of stomach issues but she never asked) and a steroid cream. Why would I take an antibiotic not knowing what is wrong? This whole experience was a huge waste of time and money as she was totally useless. I will never go back! read more

Do not go here. They have deceptive billing practices. They provided absolutely No medical care and billed well over 400.00. After reaching out to have the charges adjusted they refused. This is specifically for MD now on 1200 Yamato Rd. I went there for a UTI which I was prescribed an antiobiotic for. Halfway through the treatment I started getting a rash, fever, irritated eyes, etc. so I called them back and told them I need to stop taking it as I was having an allergic reaction. She said the doctor would call me back. I got a call back at 8:13 p.m. on Sept. 11 - I am including that because I am hoping someone from MD Now can figure out exactly which doctor was there at that time and fire him because he lacks any kind care for a patient whatsoever. First of all, he couldn't even come to the phone, the woman at the desk was giving me messages he was speaking to her and he was standing right next to her because I could hear him. This went back and forth a few times, because since there was a middle person involved she could not relay messages between the two of us. It was ridiculous. I told her that I was worried about the side effects I was having and can he call in something else for me. Her response from him was "the doctor said he is leaving now so someone else will call you tomorrow." I'm sorry what? Yup that's what he said. He knew I was struggling, knew I needed another medication and that was his response. The next morning the same woman from the desk called me back and I asked her to have someone call me in a new prescription but now the doctor on call there wanted me to come back in and spend another $75 and my time so that he can tell me what all of us already know, that I have a UTI! I told her it was not necessary for me to come back, you have my urine culture showing it is positive for a UTI and she apologized and said the provider asked that I come back, of course he did, he wanted another copay to be collected at my expense. Not happening. This was my go to urgent care but done with you now. Such a disappointing experience. read more

While visiting Boca from out of state, my wife fell ill and we searched online for an urgent care center and came across MD Now on Yamato Road. We were at first hesitant to go there due to the relatively poor reviews on Google but were pleasantly surprised by our visit. The facility is spotless and very well equipped. The receptionist Vilija was very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. She provided assistance in helping us complete the forms and gladly answered all our questions. It was a pleasure dealing with her. The wait was relatively short before seeing the nurse who conducted a comprehensive series of diagnostic tests, which she passed along to the Doctor whom we saw shortly after the Covid test results were processed. Dr. Welliver, who was the attending physician that day, was quite knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the results of the tests thoroughly to us and prescribed medicine which helped my wife feel better. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience visiting that facility and we highly recommend MD Now on Yamato whenever urgent care is needed. read more

I don't recommend going here. The doctor is extremely arrogant and told me I was wrong that I had strep because my tonsils weren't swollen. I told her that my tonsils were removed and that is why they weren't swollen. She then said I didn't need a culture since I had no tonsils though my whole throat was white. Waste of money as I had to take a culture elsewhere and ended up having strep. read more

Went in with a swollen tonsil that was resulting in ear pain. The physician told me that my exam looked normal and she didn't see a swollen tonsil. Then she proceeded to keep recommending I get a COVID test. She talked about covid more than the issue I went in for. $150 wasted. read more

Absolutely horrific experience at MD Now. We were told upon entering that it would be an hour wait. Fine. No problem. The issue is that there is an extremely sick person in the waiting room with us coughing incessantly and the girl at the front desk says that we are not allowed to stand outside the door until she has verified our paperwork. And it's taking an inordinate amount of time for her to "check us in" so we can stand outside. Completely unsafe and unsanitary. Again, all we want to do is stand outside the door in the window where we can be seen and it's not "allowed". Completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disgusting. She should be fired. read more
