Before he started he talked to me explaining the procedure and the use of novocaine shots to numb the area. He emphasized I was to tell him if I felt any pain and he would inject more novocaine until I had NO pain. He kept his word and I thanked him for using small stitches- I was impressed By his technique.I am seeing him tomorrow so he can remove the stitches! I had been feeling extremely ill all night and arrived right when they opened, hoping to be seen quickly and get some relief. When I arrived at 9:00 AM, there was no one at the front desk. A provider told me that someone would be out shortly to check me in. The front desk employee names Bea arrived a few minutes later and, without much acknowledgment or greeting, began setting up and speaking with staff before starting my check-in. As someone who was feeling sick and uncomfortable, I already felt somewhat dismissed. I was asked to complete registration forms on my phone. I explained that I wasn't feeling well and would have appreciated more direct assistance, but was told I needed to complete the forms electronically. The bigger issue came when I was told that my insurance was inactive and that I could not be seen. I provided my current insurance information and showed proof through my insurance app, but was repeatedly told the coverage was not valid. I knew my insurance was active, which left me confused and frustrated. When I asked to speak with the provider, I was told the same thing. At that point I became very upset because I had spent the entire night feeling miserable and came there specifically to get medical care. I expressed that the experience had felt impersonal and frustrating, but my concerns were largely dismissed. I ultimately left in tears without being seen. After leaving, I went to Xpress Urgent Care on Gateway Blvd. The experience was completely different. They verified my insurance without issue, confirmed that my coverage was active, treated me promptly, and addressed all of my medical needs. The staff there were kind, professional, and compassionate at a time when I was feeling extremely unwell. Everyone can have an off day, but when patients come into an urgent care they are often scared, sick, uncomfortable, and vulnerable. A little compassion and attention to detail can make a huge difference. Unfortunately, my experience at BeeperMD left me feeling worse than when I arrived. If you're looking for urgent care in the area and are deciding between facilities, I would strongly recommend Xpress Urgent Care on Gateway Boulevard. They were able to help me immediately, treated me with kindness and respect, and verified the same insurance that BeeperMD claimed was inactive.

I am someone that HATES hospitals, doctors offices, anything and was very unhappy to have an emergency causing me to go to the ER. Upon walking in, I thought wow! This looks more like a designer shopping store than a ER lobby. Saturday 1130 AM and not a single person waiting in front of me. Took about 10 minutes to have Chris come get me and take me to my private room. I asked if there was a bigger gown due to my size, and he went and checked. With a great attitude I must add. Upon changing in my gown, nurse Brittany was in the room within 5 minutes. No joke! She asked me some questions, checked my injury out (which was a nasty one) with all professionalism and great attitude also, and before she good even finish typing it in the computer, Dr Fletcher came in. You figure after all these greats so far, gotta be due for a letdown. INCORRECT! Doc was wonderful. Calmed me down. Gave me a quick answer! No type of these bum docs that are so quick to recommend surgery for everything. He gave me numerous ways around it actually! 5 STARS TO HIM!!! I went to urgent care for a broken hand. At the time, I wasn't sure if it was broken or…read moredislocated. I was given long forms via link to my phone to complete which was no easy considering my condition. But no one in waiting room so I thought it would be fast. After waiting 30 minutes in front waiting room, they stick me in a freezing room for another freezing cold room. After all this, the doctor comes in to explain that there's basically nothing he can do to help me bc they don't have an x-ray tech on staff and that I'd need to drive to another facility to have the x-ray! The one thing he did that I thought would be helpful was to write me a referral to an Ortho in case it was broken. Well, after getting x-ray and confirming it was broken, I contacted this Ortho only to be told that they didn't work on hands!! S0 back to them to ask for referral that could actually help me. She told me doctor would decide and call me back. After waiting several hours, it was now 6 pm, I called back to be told form was there but that they were too busy to call me!! Other than Comcast, this facility was probably the most inconsiderate and unprofessional that I've ever dealt with.

I complained to PA Irina (please note she is a PA, not a doctor even though she addresses herself as such) and left messages with doctor Bach about what I thought was an infection starting to take over. My symptoms were ignored and instead was prescribed pain pills and muscles relaxers. It progressively got worse and I asked them multiple times if I should go to the ER, they advised me to keep coming in for injections and going to the hospital was "a waste of time". Once my fever hit 103 and I had uncontrollable muscles spasms and was in the worst pain of my life (about a week to a week and a half of me complaining that something wasn't right) I ignored their advice and reported to the ER. There I was diagnosed septic with an AFB infection in my spine. I was hospitalized for two months and bed ridden for three. I do not blame them for the infection as it could have been a number of things, but I do blame them for ignoring the signs and instead using it as a way to collect more money with prescriptions and injections. They refused to do an MRI to confirm there was no infection, just went by the look.. but you're not going to see an infection inside the spine without an MRI. I had the surgery in Nov of 2020 and I still have the infection in my spine as it is a process to beat, I will be on antibiotics for a year to a year and a half. I had a PICC line to my heart from Nov to March as I needed IV antibiotics that were over $1000 a week that had to be paid up front along with a very expensive hospital bill for a two month stay not to mention the multiple lumbar clean outs and they had to redo my micro discectomy as well as a laminectomy. My body is completely weak and I have no immune system and am at risk for so much after all the antibiotics and on top of that have PTSD after everything I went through. My life will never be the same after this experience and when I confronted them about it I was basically called a liar.

The office staff were so friendly and the blonde X-ray tech approached me before they even opened to verify she had everything she needed. The process was professional and efficient.
