I looked at my paperwork after leaving the office with my daughter and the Dr. noted a history of CHF. There is no history of CHF, no one has ever been diagnosed with or ever had symptoms of CHF. I am now doubting the entire office visit. Also, the Dr. asked my daughter whether she preferred long or short distance running and thought it was "funny" that she looked to me to know which one she was "supposed to like". The fact is she has no idea since practices just began. I found him to be dismissive and condescending. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The woman at the front with the red hair is so unbelievably disrespectful and rude. we went in with a clear gash on the face and she proceeded to tell us we needed a mask which is fine but we did not have one. We went back to the car and only found a towel to cover the face and figured once we got up to the desk that they would have an extra mask there, she told us that she didn't have any spare masks (at a medical facility ?????? ) and that we were to leave and go buy one and come back and that it specifically had to be a blue paper mask ... never have i heard that rule in my life ? Especially when there is a clear bleeding gash on my boyfriends face. Went to a different urgent care that was able to supply a mask and take us in with respect. Clearly the woman at the front hates her job the way she spoke to us and maybe should choose a different field in which your job is to help people. Will never return to this location. read more

I am on vacation and started feeling very unwell. After resting throughout the day, I decided I needed medical attention and headed to the closest urgent care. After arriving somewhat close to closing time, I had asked if they were still accepting patients and they said yes. I felt very rushed and disrespected from the minute I started filling out paperwork. Once in the room, I had a flu test strip shoved in my nose with no forewarning. It came out positive and the doctor then told me there are medications that they could give me but it would be "useless" since I would throw them up. They still insisted i don't even though I made it very clear I would still prefer to try. I have health insurance and the price was still very outrageous. Long story short, the patient care is absolutely horrible and the whole situation was just a waste of time and money ! read more

I don't even know where to start. We arrived at MD NOW in Lighthouse Point on 2-27-22 about 4 pm, We were there 2 hours which we were told the wait would be 1 to 1-1/2 hour, so we expected to wait. The front receptionist couldn't have been nicer. We then had to return on 3-2-22 because my husband was misdiagnosed, even though that was unfortunate, my husband was very pleased with the Dr. My issue was and is the young girl at the front desk, she was Sarcastic, and Rude to say the least. After my husband had been called in to see the Dr. I waited a while then went to the front desk to ask if the music could be turned down a little, her reply to me was "WHY.... is the music to loud" I replied "Yes it is and I don't think it's Appropriate music either". I will add the music was loud, and definitely not the sort of music that should be playing at a Medical Facility. If music is playing I would think it should be Easy Listening and calming for the patience's, not Rock for the employees enjoyment. The volume was never tuned down but the type of music was changed. Not only was she nasty to me, but to most of the other patients coming in for care. I realize working with the public is not an easy job,I have worked with the public most of my life, if your employees can't have some Patients, and Compassion for the people walking into your facility for help, your employees should find another line of work. read more

The front desk women at this place are terrible! Every single one that I have spoken with, they are rude and not helpful at ALL. The doctor is pretty good too, so it is a shame that the front desk people (who are representing the clinic) are so bad . If you are going to be that miserable, I'd suggest not working for a clinic where a bunch of sick and hurt patients come in. And they have no sense of urgency whatsoever. It's always "call 911 if you have an emergency." Get out of here with that, at least be a little more urgent!! I understand they are most likely insensitive to seeing hurt/sick patients since they come in all of the time, but every patient should be treated with the same care, urgency, and respect when they come in. Do not even get me started on the mask rules. How do you not have many extra masks for people that need them... AT A MEDICAL CARE CENTER?! The doctor and technologists were professional, but receptionist, terrible. We had impression to disturb her. My insurer was trying to send her e-mail and she made no effort to help us. Finally, my insurer sent me authorization and then, I was able to transfer it to receptionist. read more

Visited MD Urgent Care in Pomoano Beach and was seen in less than ten minutes. THE DOCTOR WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS THE STAFF. This was not my first visit and I would highly recommend this facility. Very clean well run and professional. read more

I feel a lot of the previous reviews are unfounded If you have to you can make an appointment to help deal with wait times but I went there this last Saturday with an excruciating knee injury and they saw me within 25 minutes. The staff was very professional and the doctor was very attentive. He was even honest and told me I didn't "need" to buy a knee brace since he didn't feel it would help any more than ice and pain management. (turns out what felt like injured tendons was just a nasty sprain) I went here because I didn't feel like waiting eight hours at Broward Hospital simply to have them tell me the exact same thing (ice, prescription ibuprofen, and rest) and then charge me $100 for an ice pack. read more

0 Stars!! Never again... If I were on fire or bleeding from my eyeballs I would play chicken on I95 before I'd ever step foot in this MD Now Urgent "Care" location again. I had a pre-surgical exam done in early August...EKG, blood work, etc. At the time they billed me $45 which is my listed co-pay. This morning I woke up to see they hit my account for an additional $85. I called to speak with them and receptionist basically said go screw yourself...you owed us so we have the right to bill you whatever we think is necessary. Then she handed me off to her supervisor who wanted nothing to do with hearing my questions as to why they debited my account. Never mind the fact that the charge they processed today is against Visa regulations for debiting someone after the fact without authorization...she used the old "we emailed you" routine assuming I was like most people and don't check my email regularly. Basically rather than send me a bill for the additional $85 because the day of service they didn't bother contacting my insurance and finding out what they should actually charge me, they in my opinion stole the money from my account because they feel they had every right to. The $85 is gone and quite honestly I'm glad they have it so I don't ever have to deal with these crooks again. Do yourself a favor and go wait in an emergency room because at least you know they are there to help, instead of just making another buck off someone who has insurance and has no choice but to pay what MD Now decides they deserve. read more

Went there this morning. Had a 9:00 appt. in the examining room by 9:05. At 9:45 I poked my head out and the dr was on the computer. He said I was next. After a 45 minute wait he was came in and 90 secs later he was done. Asked me what was wrong. Didn't look in my ears or nose. Listened to my breathing. Not going there again. read more

We were on vacation and our 7yo daughter got an ear infection. We arrived at MD Urgent care and were seen promptly on Saturday morning. The front office ran my insurance card and was very sweet. The building was new, clean, and modern. The Doctor we saw (Dr. H) took her time in the examination and diagnosis. She was also kind, professional, and concerned. I went in the day after Christmas and it was super busy. The front desk was also very busy and it took a little while to get checked in but they were very polite and helpful. When I got back to see the doctor I was quite surprised how kind and caring Dr Mushtaq was. Such good bedside manor and he had worked the day before on Christmas Day too. He is the nicest doctor I have ever met. Such a positive attitude even when working through the holidays. Thank you so much Dr Mushtaq. My family doctor told me I had to go there because they had new skin and it was the best thing for my finger. We arrived had to wait for the doctor fill out forms and in the end even though I said in the beginning do you have new skin they said I'd have to ask the doctor. When the doctor arrived an hour and a half later he proceeded to tell me he did not have any new skin and started wrapping my thumb making matters worse. I told him he was making it worse and it was turning on the thumb making the cut bigger please stop; we went home took off the wrap and my wife did a better job. I will never go there again and instead just go directly to the emergency room hospital. read more

Very good service. Everyone that I encountered was pleasant and very helpful. I was very impressed with the doctor, his analysis, diagnosis and treatment of the reason I went there. The reason I went there as opposed to my family doctor is time, the equipment that they have as opposed to a doctors office and did not feel that I should burden emergency room treatment that was not to the degree of "emergency". I was very impressed with the doctor and the knowledge and explanation that he gave me. Would highly recommend the doctor and the Urgent Care facilities. read more

I went in for an accidental needle stick and they were so great. The MA who assisted me was very knowledgeable with blood draws. Usually it takes other places two or three times to stick me. She got it on the first shot! This location is the cleanest urgent care facility I have ever been to! The doctor was in and out and very helpful and was able to answer all my questions! I pulled my back out and had sciatica running down my leg my neighbor who is a paramedic told me the same thing happened to her and she got a shot of tramadol I went into M.D. and asked if I could get a shot was told I had to speak to the doctor spoke to him he said no problem but first he wanted to take x-rays took seven x-rays and then sent someone in with a prescription how old him the doctor had said he would give me a shot he went back and asked the Doctor Who then said he didn't have the medication to give it to me so all he did was rip off my Union insurance to collect money read more

The facility is nice, clean, and the staff is excellent. The wait, however, too long. I walked in and there was nobody waiting so I expected to be in and out. I was checked in, paid, and brought back to a room fairly quickly. But then it was almost 2 hours until I was seen and released. I was very sick and in town for the weekend. Was able to get one of my prescriptions at the office there, super convenient, but took an extra long time. I would recommend this facility if you are sick, but expect your visit to take at least a couple hours. I did not have any radiologic studies or bloodwork, just needed to see a doctor. They should look at their process and see what they can do to speed it up. read more

My 3rd and last time. Made appointment and left in room unattended for 1 hour and 40 minutes. When I told them I had to get back to work they told me no problem and handed me my cash back that I paid when I got there. I had the unfortunate experience of choosing MD Now Urgent care for treating a cold which resulted in fluid behind my ear. I work for a major airline which has a very strict attendance policy. At the completion of my appointment I requested them to fill a Family Leave form to substantiate my illness with my employer. Much to dismay, they refused my request and advised me they were unwilling to comply with federal law. I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. Please avoid them at all costs. They don't care about the people they treat and are not willing to go out of their way to assist their patients. As a result of their negligence, my employer has placed a warning letter in my file.THANKS MD Now for nothing. I plan on calling the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General along with the Dept. of Labor. Please boycott this clinic. read more

Staff is nice, but billing department significantly over charges for PT services. While working with the billing department, they sent an erroneous charge to a collections agency, before any agreement could be reached. This action is extremely unprofessional. All of this is due to MD Now not working with car insurance to pay bills from a car accident. find another urgent care center or go to a hospital if you get in a car accident, and definitely do not follow the referrals that MD now will give to its other departments. MD Now has inflated rates to gouge insurance companies for additional payments. Not a respectable business and unacceptable behavior. read more

I came in extremely dehydrated and about to faint. As soon as the staff saw me, they rushed me to the back and immediately began to treat me. The young ladies at the front desk acted quickly and made sure I was taken care of. Once in the back, the doctor came to evaluate me within 10 seconds and began the necessary treatment. By the end of my visit I was feeling a bit better and was so grateful to everyone I encountered. The staff was quick to react, professional, polite, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and the second I walked through the door I knew I would be okay. read more

It's sad when billing staff does not do job properly and refuses patient in need. Refused to let me call and speak directly with insurance . Called insurance after I left to confirm all deductibles met, they confirmed and recommended another clinic. It's no fun wasting time when your sick, and just want medical attention. I went to MD Urgent Care on Memorial Day to have a chard of glass removed from my foot. While the receptionist and nurse were pleasant and professional, the doctor was not. He jabbed my foot hard with a needle and proceeded to dig in the pad of my foot. After 10 minutes of boring, he hesitantly said that he got the glass and immediately left the room. Since then my foot has been swollen and cannot bear the pressure of walking. This has caused me to miss work that I can't afford. Monday (one week later!!) I am going to a podiatrist with hopes of a solution... My recommendation is, if at all possible, to hold off on medical care until you can get to a reputable physician. read more

Over an hour and a half wait to get a room and then an additional hour and 20 minutes to see the "Doctor". I went there with an eye issue. I had a 9:30 appointment was seen at 11:50. The doctor, Herrera, saw me for 2 mins and without looking closely, said allergy. He totally messed up the prescription. First he tried to prescribe an over the counter drug. Then the report had an ointment that was not for me. No antibiotics or anything for the infection. The clinical services manager called me the next day to follow up. She was very surprised at all the events. She had to get me the antibiotics. I would never go back to this clinic again. I'm giving this place 2 stars because the receptionists were very friendly, and the facility is very clean. I went here for some stomach pain I'd been having for a few days, and the MA & MD both immediately thought it was a UTI, even though I was having no "classic uti symptoms". They did a test, which came back negative (duh) and still said that I had a UTI, and prescribed antibiotics (haven't these people heard about the dangers of antibiotic overuse)?? I bought the prescription from them, and they couldn't sell me the 3 day supply that was prescribed, I had to buy a 10 day supply which cost $20. The doctor was not thorough at all, pressed on my stomach a couple times, didn't listen to it with the stethoscope, or want to do an x-Ray. Turns out I had something totally different that what they said, too. This place is good for school/work physicals, but if you don't want to get misdiagnosed, don't come here! read more

Went there for a leg injury had x-rays..that was all good, but a week later I developed a hematoma. I went back to see if I should be concerned. The male nurse, who was very rude, said he could not comment because it would be a" liability" and I would have to see the doctor. I was trying to avoid having to pay another $75.00 co-pay if at all possible. I just wanted to know if anything could be done, as I was treating it at home with warm moist compresses. Well I wound up paying another $75.00 co-pay only for them to tell me to go to the ER!!! And to top it all off I went back the next day to get my ace bandage the doctor said that he would give me but I forgot it before I left that day. I had asked for two ace bandages so I could change them out. That same male nurse came out and said he would only give me one and that it was a courtesy. REALLY a courtesy I paid $75.00 for that ace bandage!!! However the doctor was vey nice, thank god for that!! Will never go back!! read more

I was very disappointed with the care and customer service we received at this urgent care office. My child was complaining of ear pain. We were on vacation and not near our own doctor. Went early in the morning. We have insurance and because we have children opt for the more expensive plan that covers out of state care. The front desk I felt really did not run my card or check fully if we were covered. Paid the 145.00 because he needed to be seen. Everything is done on an iPad which is fine but an elderly women was struggling with the technology and the front desk was just too busy to explain or help her. At one point, the technology kicked all of us off and we all had to start over. I felt very bad for the elderly. Front desk should be trained better to help. My child was seen very briefly. Said it was just outer ear. I said are you sure because he is in screaming pain and is not a complainer. Do what they said and no improvement. Make a call to ask for more help. Kept on hold and bounced around. Was told after my explanation that "I did not see the best doctor the other day." I could not believe it. Told they would send over an antibiotic to pharmacy. Get to pharmacy no antibiotic. Child still in agonizing pain. Go back to office and basically was told that they never said those things to me and if I want different meds they would have to see him again at a discounted rate of 100.00. I really do not care about the money it was the lies and service. Took my child to the minute clinic. Completely different diagnoses. Got the right meds and now trying to enjoy the last part of this vacation, The place looks nice but beware they are only after your money. Go to Minute clinic. read more
