I went to the MD Now Urgent Care on Bird Road this morning with a a possible broken finger. Guess what? No X-Rays available It seems these centers have X-Ray machines but the radiology tech travels between sites. Seriously? I was offered an evaluation and there was no wait time but unless they have a doctor with X-ray vision it would have been a waste of time! Unbelievable! Glad I'm at a Baptist Urgent Care. read more

I was treated for chest pain along with flu symptoms. The staff was very helpful, caring, and listened to all of my concerns. It is nice to go to a facility where everyone cares about their job and treats you with respect. The effectiveness and professionalism would make me want to return to this location, if urgent care was needed. The wait time was reasonable for a Saturday. read more

They were nice... but $693 for a bandaid is ridiculous. I had a small cut and was made to go. They made a bigger mess of it, would not stitch it, and could not glue it. Made me take a script for antibiotic, which I did not need, and made me feel bad about it. So took it for two days (oh yeah and add costs of that) to which my primary doc told me to stop immediately. Messed my stomach up and definitely did not need it. I was told that my insurance covered it and small co-pay. Only reason I went in. Only to get another bill in the mail. So yes, it was $693 for a bandaid, plus the cost to of the antibiotic, and cost of probiotics and everything else to fix the misdiagnosis. So make sure you find out the true costs before. read more

The MD urgent care team were highly competent individuals, from reception, assistant to doctor !! Sylvia at the front desk was kind , friendly and patient .She offered great conversation and was genuinely interested in my well being . Such a rare find now a days I was truly impressed that the Doctor offered and explained several courses of action, depending on the results of the tests that he ordered .He was extremely knowledgeable and I feel lucky I got him as my provider . Excellent and fast service. I came without an appointment on a weekday and there was only one patient before me. The attendant had me filled out the forms in a tablet and she processed my insurance information, everything was fast and the people were nice. I came to get some tests done and was able to do that very fast. I am happy with the service and facilities and recommend them. read more

This was my first time needing to visit any kind of urgent care/ ER and I'm grateful MD Now was available for my workplace injury. The waiting room was empty (Friday around 4pm) even the receptionist wasn't around lol. I did have to wait quite a while to be seen since it was filed under workers comp, they would not see me until after the paperwork was signed and sent from my office -- which I understand is there policy but when you're fingers are crushed and bleeding its frustrating to wait in pain. The location was clean, the front desk receptionist wasn't wearing a mask (they still do covid tests here) The examination was brief but efficient and the staff was overall attentive and polite. West Flagler visit on 10-28-24. Worker's Comp injury follow-up. After visiting the Cutler Ridge location for I was in for an evaluation and X-Ray for my lumbar spine. I was turned away for the authorization was emailed to me and not faxed to the urgent care. There at Cutler Ridge they took my pressure standing for it was painful to sit. At the Flagler location between 6-6:20 p m I was seen and the nurse technician practically lured... ( A rather push to Exam Room 1). Mind you. I was limping. Then she told me to "Sit down.". I mentioned to her I can't, I'm in pain. She proceeded with "Well. You have to die I have to take your blood pressure." I mentioned to her " They took my pressure at Cutler Ridge standing. I'm sure we can do the same here " She replies " Don't yell at me!"... " I saw you sitting ....you will SIT". I replied.. " Hun I was crouched over at the counter, near the TV. I wasn't sitting." and she storms off cursing and complaining . I asked the faculty who she was? No one knew her?? Bull crap. It was ODD and unprofessional. She raised my pressure to 195. I have high blood pressure and this wack job needs to not attend to patients. Not the blonde nurse who was nice. This one had bad caramel highlights that looked as shrewd as her bad toned makeup on her face. Glasses on and a crap for shiitt attitude! Write her a$$up or remove her. She's damaging to the proper care I received by the rest of the staff. Check your cameras. I have long black hair, blue hoodie and grey sweatpants. I was leaning on the TV counter and that witch called me on and literally rushed me to the room as I was walking slow... LIMPING! read more

I came 9:30 Saturday morning and came out 10:00. The whole process was smooth and staff was super nice and professional.

This place is excellent. I wish I could make them my regular doctors. My wife and I came here for physical exams that required complicated paperwork. The wait was average for a clinic, however they told us they had an urgent case that day. We were seen by the assistants and by the doctor, all were friendly and very professional. They took the time to attend to us and didn't make us feel rushed. The requirements for the physical exams were a complicated but they took the time to be thorough. I also had back pain that day and the doctor checked me out while I was there. We had to do two follow up visits to check the TB test and to have the doctor sign off on the exam forms. Everything went smoothly with those visits and we received excellent service from everyone at the office. I have to add that the prices were great, much cheaper than my regular doctor's office. I wish my regular doctor's office was this good. read more

Came at 5:55 pm, no one in front of me. Completed the paperwork as person after person came in later. When a couple who were just starting their paperwork when I turned mine in were called in, I asked the front desk if I had missed them calling me, and she said 'No, they were here first.". Not according to my observations, but she assured me I was next, so I chose to stick it out. Next they called in a young man who definitely arrived at least 15 minutes after me. I brought it to her attention, having now been waiting 35 minutes in a waiting room that was completely empty when I arrived. She mumbled something about checking, but I told her to give me my money back, and walked out after a total of forty (40) minutes of not being treated 'urgently' or with 'care'. read more

I was impressed with my visit here. Waiting room was clean and the staff friendly. I came in at 3pm on New Years Day with no appointment and waited only an hour despite them probably being short-staffed. The visit was for intestinal issues. I was really in pain. Coming here was much better than going to an ER. I told myself, "If I survive, I will write a good review for this place." Well, I survived, so I'm writing a good review. As I said, the staff was great even though they probably were not thrilled to work on a holiday. Dr. Will was very patient with me explaining all my symptoms and he had the tech give me a shot and prescribed some medicine to take for the next few days. Waited an hour which was fine but within my hour wait time about four separate people came in asking to be attended that only spoke Spanish and receptionists were extremely unhelpful. It's shameful that in an area with such a large Hispanic population there wasn't a single person in the entire establishment that could come and help these people, nor could anybody use a translator app. No valla a esta locación si solamente habla Español. read more

Terrible service. I've had a cough for a few days. The doctor who saw me did not look into my throat, she only listened to my lungs and prescribed and inhaler, prednisone, antibiotics and a cough syrup. This screams 'i have no idea what is wrong so I'll just give you everything I can think of'. When I questioned about the medications she was very dismissive and asked if me and my husband were 'pre med students or something?'. I asked her if I am contagious and she said 'yes but you'll be fine' and walked out of the room. read more

I had taken my daughter here once when she was sick and had the best experience, my personal visit yesterday was no different! The docs are wonderful (I specifically saw Dr. Casas), they get to you quickly whether you walk in, or call ahead. Very professional, clean, and they have pretty much whatever you need onsite, including chest x-rays & ekgs. I am so relaxed knowing they are down the street and ready to help me & my family anytime. Unbelievable! I was seen on Monday morning Diagnosed with the flu and UTI. After a great visit I received antibiotics for the uti and sent on my way. After my first antibiotic dose I got a fever of 104 which I assumed was the flu, for the next two days I could not get out of bed from the migraines (which I don't suffer from regularly) and could not keep anything down in my stomach. I called MD now several times and after speaking to several reps who advised I was probably allergic to the antibiotic kept being placed on hold and being transferred would get disconnected. Today I was told since they started using the call center all calls are dropped when routed to the offices!! I stopped the antibiotics and after 24 hrs started to feel human again. I was unable to miss anymore work and had to stick it out until this morning when I came to the office again to explain what was going on. Upon arrival I was advised that I would have to wait until the same physician was in another location tomorrow as the physician on staff would not authorize a change of medication without me being seen again!!!! What the hell is the point of electronic medical records and several physicians on staff?? Definitely in the business of making money not treating patients! The fact that a physician would recommend a patient to walk around with an infection untreated because they do not feel comfortable changing a medication their colleague prescribed is mind blowing! read more

I came in with extreme pain in my throat expecting to be diagnosed with strep throat but when I went to the urgent care the doctor told me it was tonsillitis and did not prescribe me any antibiotics. I asked if he was sure because I was shocked that it wasn't strep throat. The pain only got worse so the next day I went to my primary doctor and just by looking at me she knew it was strep throat and she then the test came back positive for strep throat and she prescribed me antibiotics. By the next day I felt so much better. I went through a whole day of unnecessary pain because of a bad diagnosis at the urgent care. read more

Their basically a middle stop in between a hospital and a primary doctor care. I believe they don't do MRI or cat scans. They prescribe you medicine and all, and send it to the nearest drug store!!! My niece had a cut on her hand and we took her to MD Now Urgent Care on Bird Road and 72 Avenue in Miami; no appointment. This was the first time we had been there. The facility was clean and the staff was so friendly. We only had to wait about 30 minutes. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were very clear about the pricing (office visit, x-rays, tetanus shot, etc) so there were no surprises when the bill came! Andrew Smith helped to get her ready for the doctor. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Dr. Kabir was so professional, kind and patient and stitched her hand right up. We visited here for a skin rash. We waited almost two hours when the waiting room was empty and were told the next walk in appointment was supposed to be in 4 minutes. The doctor was in the room for less than 2 minutes. When we walked out she was on her cell phone hanging out while there were patients waiting. I went in with kidney pain and said I have had a kidney infection in the past, the doctor didnt even run test and said " I probably have a kidney infection but probably not" and went to write up a prescription of antibiotic and motrin for the pain.
