I remember that shortly prior to retiring they turned over their customer service calls to an outside provide . The new doctors continues with this practice and it is extremely hard to get accurate responsive phone service due to this. For example, I made an appointment over the phone and the outside service took the call I made it a point to ask them to be sure it was within the allotted time frame my insurance allows. I went to my appointment and it was outside of the time frame my insurance allows. Had I been able to call the office directly, they would have verified my medical records to ensure I would be able to claim the cost on insurance. Another time I left my glasses in the office, it was a challenge to get someone on the phone to check for me. I realize lots of office feel they must outsource their customer service calls but it just makes it so difficult, I've decided to just drive to the office whenever I have a question. Other than the phone service concern, I have to say that the new doctore, Dr Elgozy, is a kind and compassionate doctor. I feel well taken care of by his staff. If you do not need to have direct access to the doctors office I highly recommend this practice. Everyone in the office is truly wonderful.

Terrible experience…read more Today, Saturday, July 18, 2026, at around 1:00 PM, I visited the Miami Beach location because I injured my foot and was in significant pain. Since I don't have insurance, I was informed that the medical consultation would cost $140 and the X-rays $80. After the nurse took my X-rays, Dr. Luis Cabrera never brought me into an exam room, never asked about my symptoms, never looked at my foot, and never performed a physical examination. He simply looked at the X-rays, said he couldn't see anything, recommended that I see a foot specialist, and told me the radiologist wasn't available to interpret the X-rays. When I asked who was going to perform my medical examination, he replied that he didn't need to examine me because he already knew I had injured a toe. I explained that he had never even looked at my foot, but he insisted he didn't need to. When I asked how he could give a medical opinion without examining the patient, he dismissively told me to "find someone to explain it to you." I then asked, "If you're not going to examine me, why am I being charged $140 for a medical consultation?" At that point, Dr. Cabrera became angry, told me not to pay anything, and ordered me to leave the clinic. The entire incident happened in front of the nurse and the receptionist, making the experience humiliating and deeply unprofessional. I left the clinic without receiving a medical examination or treatment and without paying, because Dr. Cabrera told me to leave. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a physician. I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Unfortunately I've been unwell to the point where I've had to go to Urgent Care twice this year…read more This Urgent Care is new, the facility is very clean. When you check in you can use the traditional method filling out forms or you can scan a QR code and get on the waitlist after electronically filling out the forms. There is plenty of parking so that shouldn't be an issue once you arrive. Both times I have gone it has been pretty empty only me and one other person in the waiting area. I also did not have to wait long until I was brought in to start the process to see the doctor. The quality of care is great. They listen to your concerns and make sure they are very thorough with all the notes prior to you seeing a physician. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. If you need anything or have any questions someone is there to assist you! I make this my go to Urgent Care as it close to my house and I know there are not long wait times! If you live in the area and happen to need to go Urgent Care give this Baptist location a chance! I have been happy with my experience both times I have been.

At check-in, the staff specifically told me that the only amount I would be responsible for was my $70 copayment, which I paid in full at the visit. Later, I found out they billed my insurance over $560, and now I'm being charged an additional $330 out of pocket. This makes absolutely no sense for such a basic urgent care visit, especially after being told the copayment would be my responsibility. What's even more frustrating is that they advertise much lower pricing packages for uninsured patients that include multiple tests and additional services, yet somehow my insured visit ended up costing far more. It feels extremely misleading and overpriced. I understand healthcare billing can be complicated, but patients deserve transparency about costs before treatment. Nothing about this visit justified such excessive charges, and I would never have agreed to the visit if I had been informed beforehand that I could owe hundreds more beyond my copayment. I would strongly recommend asking for a complete cost breakdown before agreeing to treatment here.

What made absolutely no sense was being told that because the chest pain had already been happening for a few days, it "wasn't urgent," but that if we had come in on the first day it would have been considered more urgent. Chest pain does not suddenly become unimportant just because someone has been dealing with it for more than a day. We weren't expecting anyone to diagnose her at the front desk--we were simply expecting basic compassion, professionalism, and for her symptoms to be taken seriously. When someone is already scared and in significant pain, the last thing they need is to feel like they're inconveniencing the staff by asking for medical help. The attitude and dismissiveness were completely unnecessary and made an already stressful situation worse.
