great Drs and nurses staff, beware of the ones taking your payment!!! came on Sunday and my hwa insurance was accepted, came on Monday it was not accepted and made paid 170 dollars for a follow up with the promise that the next follow ups are going to free of charge, came next day and .... guess what !!! , surprise!!!!! , my health insurance was working again and I had to pay 30 bucks for that day follow up's , they said that it was some new employe's mistake and some other sort of nonsenses which I did not believe, so disappointed!!! read more

After up and down experiences with this facility, I will NEVER return! Congrats! It took a lot of work to permanently alienate me! BRAVO ! I wouldn't go back if they paid me -- a lot! The front office lady was impossible and threw every roadblock possible to delivering the simple treatment I required. It was so maddening I stormed out -- never to return again! 5 minutes later, I was in Palm Beach Urgent Care, a mile south on S Dixie, and an hour later, both my small needs were met as I was treated with respect, courtesy, efficiency -- no bureaucratic b.s. and as if I was actually a CUSTOMER! This location took extremely long wait and had one doc on the weekend which is a little unacceptable to me. After seeing the doc and leaving I was told to come do a follow up tomm. When I went the next morning they try to charge me another copay for the visit. That's ridiculous because it wasn't even 24 hours since I was last there. And the follow up was just to look at my injury which would take less than a minute. I don't know how they do business in the manner. read more

I took my 2yr old here when he was experiencing wheezing & sounded right in his airways. I went first thing in the morning & waited about 20 mins with no appointment. The female doc was very nice & present with me. Kind to my son. She seemed like a pediatrician with experience with kids. She diagnosed his condition & got his prescription ordered right away. A week later I called with some medical questions about my daughter. The on call nurse was so kind & asked the doc about my concerns. They gave me several recommendations. I don't know why this place has such bad review. I mean this is an urgent care, depend on the day and hour and how busy they are you might have to wait a bit knowing YOU HAVE NO APPOINTMENTS LOL (I see some review on here eye roll) Anyway I got sick about two weeks ago and have a horrible sinus infection that still left and I didn't even have an appointment I just went during my lunchtime because I work from home and they were able to get me in and out within 45 minutes the doctor here are so sweet and really helpful. I got Doctor Steve, he explain to me everything that I've been going through and validated that I wasn't crazy and gave me medication and I was on my way. I went in around 6 PM for a cyst on my thigh, hoping they would do an incision. I waited an hour and a half which is OK. I understand they're busy, but once I got into the room, I was told my best option was to go to the emergency room After paying $185 I said is there something you can do I was able to at least get some medication antibiotic to help otherwise I would've wasted $185 sitting in the lobby. Every time I go there I feel the doctors in particular either have no clue what they're doing or just don't care to help because they're in a hurry mind you they close at 8 PM and this was about 745. I always seem to forget why I don't like coming here and then I remember why definitely the only reason why they're busy is the location otherwise I say stay away. read more

I have no complaints about the medical staff as I find the doctors here to be consistently friendly and accurate in their diagnoses. The support staff are friendly too. My gripe is the inconsistency with the wait time. The check-in process is extremely organized and the iPads make it easy. The issue is the wait between seeing the doctor and the last support member who's responsible for arranging prescriptions, etc. My daughter was sick last week with bronchitis so I took her to this location knowing we'd be there longer than usual due to it being a Monday. However, we were there for a total of three hours. This was unnecessary because we spent nearly an hour in the waiting room from the time the doctor departed until the team member came to assist us with prescriptions. Later in the day, I had the pharmacy contact them to alter a prescription and it wasn't done so I had to follow-up. The staff member I spoke with assured me it would be done and I went to the pharmacy for pick-up, it wasn't. Needless to say, I had to call again in order to remedy the situation. The third time was a charm. Albeit, the charm was an undesired annoyance and inconvenience. read more

Two Receptionists holding personal, unprofessional conversations as priority over any rapid intake. Two nurses on staff are kind and efficient but show incredibly obvious signs of being overworked. Sole Physician Assistant on staff led to mistakes on the paperwork due to brevity on input to assist in turnaround time. No evidence of sanitation of consultation rooms or equipment between visits. Trash on carpeted floors that have not seen a steam clean in years. read more

This is for the location on Dixie Highway: They have an online check in system that is supposed to allow patients to check in online, do registration online and then wait in their car to be called. Well that doesn't work. I waited for 45 minutes before going inside. I give the receptionist my sons name. She verifies insurance and takes my payment. Here we sit, nearly 2 hours later after everyone else that checked in by walking inside has already gone back. When I ask the receptionist she first says it is because I'm not REALLY checked in until she takes my payment. When I explain the text message I received says I am fully checked in she then says, well it's a new system that automatically puts online check in patients at the BOTTOM of the list rather than in the natural que. Even after this explanation there was still no attempt to expedite getting my son to a room. I explained that all he needs is a flu and strep test. They could have already done that while we waited to go back. If you have hours to wait at a walk-in clinic go for this place. Otherwise , find another one. read more

It's really disheartening to realize just how little empathy the front desk staff has for their patients. Not only are the wait times extremely long, but the "line" system is not followed by order of arrival at all. I can understand an emergency, but when there is a room full of people with similar symptoms there's no reason why there should be new arrivals going into the office before people that have been sitting there for hours. On top of the long wait times, the doctors are not attentive at all, dismissive, and seem like they're constantly in a rush to do every test as quickly as humanly possible. If you do not have the staff, or the capacity, refer your patients to a nearby location. It is extremely selfish and irresponsible to rush through diagnosis or treatment. You are healthcare providers. If you cannot keep up with the pace or nature of your job, refer us to a clinic that knows what they're doing. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Got sent a bill, spoke to a manager named Carla who told me if I tried to see if they could change the billing code so my insurance would cover it that I was committing fraud. But Aetna told me to call and ask them? On hold for over an hour!! Then the system hung up on me. On hold for another 30min. FINALLY someone answered. He tried to transfer me to billing, the system said "you are not authorized to transfer to this number." And hung up. Beyond pissed! Also send an email online in the contact us form and no response. 4/25/23 I need to get my eye checked as I had a small infection that needed more treatment than had done. Cory - the PA that I saw was very helpful and gave me an RX for my issue. Also, Kendra, the front desk person was amazing. She handled EVERYTHING that was going on at this location. Greeting people coming in, answering phones, trying to get -IT help from their supplier for the IPads that were not letting patients log in, talking to people with questions, etc. All without getting tense or upset!! Bravo. I also had to call back to find out where to find page on Google to leave a review and Mary help me to do that!! Kudo's to everyone there - everyone was quite helpful and pleasant! It's been a week since I went in for my visit and I still have had no communication from staff. I have called the office three times to attempt to get my test results but was unsuccessful. I finally reached someone yesterday who stated she would have the manager call me before the end of the day. That did not happen. I called back today and the receptionist said the manager was not in and she was the only one who could tell me my results. I have definitely had the receptionists share my results with me before. I decided to just call Bioreference to obtain my results and they emailed them right over. They came back 4 days ago and no one bothered to inform me. I will never return to this location. read more

I would have given more, but when you actually need them to all be on the same page and know what they are talking about and actually HELP out, you are going to the WRONG place. I will never go there again. And, honestly, I don't have time or interest in posting reviews, but this one got to me. Went for a visit, the doc wrote a Rx for me... got it filled. Wanted to change the Rx from a pill to a cream and was told that I needed to talk to the doc that wrote the Rx who was working at a different location that day. Called the other location, the lady told me I would need to make a whole new visit for this to happen (another co-pay, can't speak with doc, absolutely no way I can be helped). So... there you have it... all about the money, not about actually taking care of people. read more

Dr Galvez prescribed me Bactrim for a strep throat. I go home, take my first dose, start researching it online. Multiple websites say that Bactrim is not only ineffective against strep, but it can have adverse effects. I called back and politely asked that I get written a prescription of amoxicillin instead. I was put on hold. Then was literally told the answer is no, and if I'm not comfortable taking the medication, I shouldn't take it. "Are you kidding me, did I really just pay $160 for a prescription that won't help me? I want to speak to her." Was my response. Dr Galvez eventually relented, and then HUNG UP ON ME mid sentence while I was asking if she'd please call it into the pharmacy tonight. When I tried to call back, I was put immediately on hold and disconnected. DO NOT GO HERE. ***update: they called my new prescription (the one I had to beg for) into the WRONG PHARMACY. Micro aggression much? They had my correct pharmacy on file. read more

I'm not sure how this place got any 5 star reviews. Maybe the employees who are standing around. Brought hubby in this morning at 9. There were 2 people waiting and a couple in the back. There were tons of employees and none were doing much but playing on their phones. It's now 130 pm and he just went back to see the doctor. I went to the one located 383 W 49 st Hialeah, FL today. It's a dusgusting bad costumer service and wasting time place. I only went there with one appointment for a drug screen requested by my company. Before I go I spent 45 minutes for instructions on a call and no one answered, then I went directly to the premises. Once there the assistant place everyone who come later before me for unjustified reasons. I only had 24 hours for the screening order so I should calmIy wait. At the end, I spent 2 hours to just pee in a a plastic bottle!!! By the way, the assistant doesn't speak spanish ... it's a 100% spanish speaker area!!!...Funny place!!! read more

This is what happened to my son from treatment, or lack of treatment at this facility. They've removed my review from google so I will post here. I've made multiple calls, emails and sent a letter with photos to risk management. The letter was signed for on February 10. No response to the letter, follow up emails or calls. This started as a simple infection. His finger was probed and he was given no antibiotics or discharge instructions. He ended up in another urgent care, an ER and then with an orthopedic surgeon and 3 procedures. Think carefully before you visit this facility. As the photos show, you will end up worse than when you went in. Don't expect a response. This morning I was told they have no risk management or compliance department. No one takes responsibility and there is no accountability here. This is NOT health care! read more

They first told us to come in the next day, then said the technician isn't in actually. directed us to about her location where we were told the technician just left to a third location. Worst service I have EVER experienced at a health care provider. We were told we would be next (after waiting 2.5 hours for a Covid test). 90 minutes later- we are STILL waiting. We received inaccurate information multiple times from the staff. If we had known it would be another hour- and a half we would have returned to our car and waited instead of a full waiting room with people with Covid. read more
