If you come here, you need to watch out the cost you spend. Better do the research on what you gonna pay for parts. I should have checked how much for the screen replacement before I went to the store, I spent $140 on the screen itself casue i believed positive reviews here,so I trusted when the guy told me the screen has been discontinuted from the factory but after all i found out it is not. I can buy it from website for at most $68. On top of that, labor fee is very high too. I thought it would take them few hours to fix it. In the end,1 hour for $60.( I appreciate them fixing it very fast and this is the reason why i give this store 2 starts instead of 1 star) Put cost aside, they did good job on fixing screen.( the 5th days with me) I will update if the screen stopped working. read more

I was referred to MD Wireless by a rep at the Metro PCS Coorporate Pittsburg CA. store. My LG Stylo was not fully charging and sometimes not at all. The mini USB connection to the charge port on the phone was very loose. I took the phone to MD Wireless on a Saturday and the young man examined it right away and said he could fix it. I was quoted a price and advised it would be ready in a little over an hour. I picked up my phone that same day. It was charged 100%. It has been a week now and it is charging up great. thank God for this place! so i had gotten a new palm centro recently. i'd been using my old phone for at least 3 years and my wife and i decided that it was time for my telecommunications device of choice to receive an upgrade. we drove to the local ATT store and found the palm centro. it took a while getting used to, but i really grew to love this phone... and then BAM! the screen cracked when the phone fell out of my pocket... about a month after i'd gotten the phone. i had gone back to rockin' my old phone for a couple months before i'd heard about this place. i yelped them and saw that they'd gotten 5 star ratings from the 2 yelpers before me, so i'd decided to give them shot. they would've had my phone ready in a half hour if not for the defective screen that they tried to replace it with, so i had to come back the next day. that wasn't a problem since i wasn't even anticipating the screen being fixed so fast. all in all, it was a very good experience. read more

I had my charger port repaired here for $66 I thought it was a great deal but unfortunately 30 days later it broke again. I think they use used parts because I have been extra careful on charging my phone since the first incident. When I went in they said I would have to pay again because the pins in the charge port were damaged well when I got home I checked the only charger I use to charge my phone and there is no way that is the reason it broke again in such a short time. I would not recommend this company! Pay the extra money it cost to repair a place that guarantees their work. read more

These guys are great. I had a Motorola V3xx I bought for my niece 4 months ago. She had dropped it at least once and cracked the glass outside and scratched up the inside glass. The amazing part is that she literally wore off the numbers on the keypad. (She averages over 10,900 text messages a month. Thank god for the unlimited text messaging from AT&T). They had everything replaced in less than an hour. (They were pretty busy when I went in.) It was very reasonable too, only $60 for everything. I went back a week later and had a different Razr unlocked from T-Mobile and re-locked to AT&T and gave that one to my niece instead. They said they have another office in Antioch. I wish that they had one over here in the Bay Area where I live. They would do a killing. There are a few places that do the same thing they do but the prices are a lot more and/or the quaiity of the work is not good at all. read more

My experience was pleasant and quick. My iphone was disabled after unsuccessfully trying to enter my password too many times (long story). I thought I was screwed and everyone, even the people at the Apple store, were telling me I'd have to get the phone restored to factory settings, meaning I'd lose everything on it (contact list, photos, etc.). But Mike was able to get back into my phone without wiping away any of my stuff. This place is now my Go -To shop for cell phone problems. They have now resurrected my cell phone twice, this time I was sure it was a goner. My Galaxy S2 was rebooting continuously but never got to the home screen. They offered to try a fix that usually works but was not 100 percent a sure thing, I had nothing to loose, so I gave them the go ahead. To my surprise, they brought my phone back to life. I would not recommend this place! I had hoped to work with Ispecialize but the owner had to go out of town on a family emergency. So, I ended up here despite some unfavorable yelp reviews - they were able to replace my iPhone screen within an hour. When I was home and tried to use my phone, i could not hear the caller unless I put in on speakerphone. Of course, the store was already closed for the evening so I had to wait until the next day. I called first to let them know I was coming in and they immediately attempted to put the blame on me even though it was fine before I brought it in. When I drove back, they fixed it while I waited but did not even apologize for the inconvenience. What a hassle! read more

A friend told me about the cell phone Dr. (MD Wireless) and they saved the day for me. Like a moron I had initially looked at craigslist to find someone who could unlock my iphone. BIG mistake! I had to drive forty five minutes to meet some amateur at a Starbucks but that was only the beginning of my nightmare. The guy had no idea what he was doing and to make a long story short, it became a six hour ordeal and when I got home my phone was locked on AT&T again. And guess what... the CL guy won't return my calls now. What a surprise. $50 wasted. I went to MD and the guys there were so helpful and professional. I could tell that they felt sympathy for me and assured me that fly by night cell phone "repair" guys who operate out of the trunk of their cars are common. So I'm not the first to be ripped off by a craigslist cell phone scam. Anyways, in 15 minutes I was unlocked and jailbroken (they do this for free when you unlock your phone) and they gave me a great discount on a charger since I was doing business with them. All that and the guy even showed me how to use Cydia which is the program you use to get all kinds of free iphone apps. I saw a negative review here and had to laugh. My old phone completely died & 2 different Sprint tech/repair places where I originally went said that all of my contacts/text messages/photos, and anything else that wasn't backed up could not be transferred to my new phone if the old phone wouldn't turn on (which it wouldn't). I shattered my iPhone 4S screen about 4 months ago. I didn't have the money or the time to replace it. Finally I have both money and time and the first thing I wanted to do was go and get my screen fixed. I googled 'iPhone 4S repair", and up popped Yelp with listings of all the local wireless repair shops in my area. I called about 6-7 different places; 2 of the places never answered nor responded to my voicemails, 4 others told me they could repair the screen for me if I liked, but it would take some places 4-6 hours to repair it, whereas others stated it would take them up to 2-3 days. All them said it would cost me anywhere from $100.00-$180.00 to fix my screen. I don't see how someone can charge me almost two hundred dollars and it will take them two days to repair the phone.I don't have time or the money for all of that. I have important calls to make and things to do. Finally I found MD Wireless. As with all the other places I looked at, I read the reviews. The other places had 4-5 stars, and their reviews where mostly good, with some bad. So I click on MD Wireless and I was really skeptical because of the bad reviews and the low rating, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and call them. They answered immediately, I spoke with Mike, and Mike answered all of my questions and he was very nice and polite. He quoted me a price over the phone and said it would only take about an hour or two to fix. I get there and fill out a small form, and with me next to him, he checks everything on my phone to make sure it all works so if they damage something, they will try to fix it. So he tells me about how long and I leave. Sure enough my phone rings right when he said he would be finished, took him an hour and a half, he assured me he had tested the phone and all is well and said I was welcome to test it when I pick it up. So I leave, get there, and pick up my phone. I tested everything on the phone and all worked perfectly. Nothing is broken internally or physically! My phone looks amazing. I cant believe I waited 4 months to fix my screen. If I ever have any more problems with any phone myself, my husband, or my family has/have, I will be sure to always bring it to MD Wireless to have it fixed. Thank you Mike and your coworker for fixing my phone. P.S. I only paid $75.00 to have my screen replaced in under two hours. I am so glad that I didn't ignore this place because of some bad reviews and I am glad I didn't waste money and glad I didn't have to wait 6 hours or 2 days for other places to fix it. read more

They open a bit late, but when I wanted my iPhone battery replaced, they did this at lunch hour in about 2 min (wasn't busy) and everything seems to work fine. The prices seem comparable to other stores and cheaper than apple store. Plenty of parking. Interesting selection of stores nearby but shouldn't be any issue in the daytime. Inside is clean enough.
