Imagine all the self-righteousness, shameless self-promotion, and a need to dictate others. And that would encapsulate the experience. Jennie Anne and Nirielle Marquez were insightful when focused on course topics, but that was only 2/3 of the time. Example of being off topic include them talking about: -How shoe size signifies p***s size (continuing on to boasts her husband's shoe size). -How an ex cheated on one of them, and that the peroxide she had scared his leg with prior, she wished to instead have poured down his throat instead. -How we must forgive others (the irony)(this was also said multiple times a day). -Stories of people who supposedly failed NCLEX for 10-20 years, until passing at exactly 75 questions after one 10-day R.A. course. *All these tangents could go on for 15-30 minutes. Time allotted for questions? No. But, we did have "guest lecturer" who instead of covering any material, shamelessly self-promoted their company for 40 uninterrupted minutes. Also: -You are required to have our cameras on at all times (the lectures were not). -You're warned that if you walked away from the screen that you would be booted from the lecture. Why don't other reviews read this way? If you look you'll see the majority of Rachel Allen's reviews look like they were written by employees, or they're "success stories" written on their website. If you enjoy unsolicited sermons, patronizing approaches to education, or awful attempts at humor, then by all means take this course.

When I explained that I was in pain, the response from the front desk was essentially that there was nothing they could do. There was no empathy, no attempt to help, and no referral to another oral surgeon who could see me sooner. Waiting over a month for someone experiencing dental pain is unacceptable. While I understand that specialists can have busy schedules, simply telling a patient to wait without offering any alternatives is poor patient care. After the call, I contacted another oral surgery office on my own. They were able to see me within two days and even offered a same-day treatment. That alone showed me there were other options that could have been suggested. What disappointed me the most wasn't the wait itself, but the complete lack of concern and communication. After being a loyal patient for years, I expected better. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that once they couldn't accommodate me, they weren't interested in helping me find someone who could. The team and the service here is exceptional. Appointments run on time, what a crazy concept, and the staff is very friendly. Surprisingly, they have some pretty fancy chairs while your teeth are worked on and they're very comfortable. The rooms are clean and modern with large displays that show not only the work being done but your actual costs! In a world where providers are pushing costs as low as possible, Bay Star's dentists do the actual work themselves. Dr. Tai cleaned my teeth and spent time just getting to know me as a new patient. I needed to come back for a filing to be repaired and to say that Dr. Tai is a perfectionist might be an understatement. I have never had a dentist take the time to discuss his plan, what my desired outcomes were, and then to spend as much time as was required to get it perfect by his standards (mine are clearly lower and it's my teeth!).
