Saw Dr Pinzone in June, referred by a local allergist for something they thought was more…read moreneuro-endicrine. Amai's office and staff are absolutely top of the line. Modern, clean, professional, always great communication from the office, no wait time, beautiful treatment rooms and really warm, welcoming and friendly. AMAI has a really comprehensive practice which allows for a really holistic practice, something I value greatly. Most notably, Dr Pinzone gave me more much time and attention and asked better questions than I think I've ever experienced in a traditional doctor's office. He did a very comprehensive intake (probably at least an hour) and ended up finding the cause of my symptoms (a supplement I was taking, which Dr P looked up while sitting with me and also spent the time with me to explain why it probably wasn't an appropriate thing for me to be taken). Such a comprehensive intake prevented me from having to do lots of testing. So while it is a little pricier and they didn't contract with insurance, between saving me lots on testing, finding the solution on the first visit, and getting some of my fees back from the portion that my insurance company reimbursed for out of network providers, I felt really good to have gotten to work with Dr Pinzone and would highly suggest to anybody. This office seems to be the way a medical intervention should be! Seriously, if all medical treatment were more like this it would eliminate one of the huge problems in our healthcare system. I hope AMAI's model will be one we will see everywhere in the future.

I came in and no one had any idea who I was or why I was there even though I had confirmed why I was coming in and connected them to my Doctor solely two hours prior. I was told to come in when I could make it. Then the nurse simply took me to a waiting room where I sat for 40 minutes without anyone telling me anything. Finally I asked someone what was going on and they said the Dr. needed to evaluate me to order a CT scan. My Doctor had already spoken to them at length (I have proof of this) before I got there, yet they claimed no one had talked to him. I asked when the Dr. could see me to evaluate me and they didnt have an answer. I explained that I had just paid $4,000 two hours ago in order to come in and get a quick CT scan. No response, just looking at me blankly. I was also clearly in a lot of pain from my surgery, and there was no attempt to hurry things along in order to get me back home. No attempt to make me more comfortable, no apology, just confusion as to why I was even there which is the last thing you want to feel when you are in so much pain and looking for help. I left and went to urgent care to get the scan. a MUCH better experience. I am still fighting to get a refund for a service they never provided!!

I woke up yesterday with a severe cough and flu like symptoms and went to the Santa Monica facility. I was greeted by a very professional receptionist, and immediately taken to an exam room. The nurse practioner took my vitals and the physician arrived 5 minutes later. They did complete blood work, a covid test, a cardiac test and a chest x ray within 15 minutes of my arrival. I had the results 15 minutes later and they called in my prescription which was ready at my pharmacy when I arrived. The staff was so professional, caring and readily avialable. There is no comparison between Sollis and any ER or urgent care facility and I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone who wants medical care and doesn't want to wait 5 hours to see a Doctor. All in all it was an AMAZING experience and there is no comparison to any other medical faciity. My concierge MD makes me wait far longer to see him than Sollis. An A+ without a doubt!
