I really liked the spa itself. It was a great day spa. Clean with all of the amenities you would see in a day spa. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the aesthetician was trying to push product on me my entire facial. All I wanted to do is relax and enjoy my first time alone from my kids in over a year, not be told what and how I was doing things was wrong and how I needed to buy her recommended things. She made me feel bad about what I was currently doing and as a side note I see a dermatologist and actually do have pretty good skin so it was a bit frustrating to be feeling like that rather than enjoying my facial. Management really needs to step in and train a little better about bedside manner in this case. Now my massage was amazing and the masseuse was very nice and accommodating to pressure. I would go back for a massage any day. I didn't mind talking to her a little because she was just chit chatting a tiny bit not trying to sell me things and make me feel bad for what I was currently doing. I've come here for different services over the years and I've always been pleased. All of the staff are great but I've booked with Julie the past few visits and she is phenomenal! She explains procedures well and is more than happy to answer questions about products and skincare in general. She is also very friendly and personable. Only booked online because when I called I got the recorded message that they were helping others and the message said booking online was an option. I've had a LOT of massages, and the hot stone massage I got with Julie today was easily one of the best massages I've ever had. I ended up being 15 minutes late to my appointment and I felt terrible. The receptionists didn't make me feel bad about it at all and neither did Julie. Most places cut into your time if you're late, so I expected that. But Julie still let me have my entire 80 minutes. She was really nice, professional and knowledgeable. I normally have to stop people from massaging my lower back because it's so painful, but she was able to massage my lower back and give me pain relief I've never been able to get without hurting me. I came in for some extreme back pain from tense muscles, but I left feeling great. She focused on the spots that I needed but also didn't skimp on massaging everything else. She also gave me some tips for how to prevent my pain in the future. 10/10 would recommend and will be back! read more

Best pedicure and facial I've ever had. Everything about this place was so relaxing other than the woman that met me at the front desk. She made me feel rushed and worried. I guess there was some sort of mix up with my appointments and the system shouldn't have let me book them back to back. Still though don't rush a new customer in a place that's supposed to be relaxing. After I got into my towel and robe though the rest of the experience was so great. This is a true day spa. I had a massage, facial, and pedicure, and each provider was a true professional in her area. The beds and chairs are insanely comfortable with plush linens. My only critique is that the space feels a bit dated. I think the flooring, walls, furniture (ie cabinets, manicure tables etc) are due for a refresh / remodel. Same goes for the entire locker room space, fine but just feels dated and there's an opportunity to add a more luxury feel. Wow. Let me preface by saying that I have been to a lot of the spas/nail places in the area for pedicures. This place just blew me away. I went for a pedicure, fully expecting to be reading and/or chatting with the technician. Nope. They whisk you away to their pedicure area (quietly), have you pick out a color, and then help you to your extremely comfortable chair. It is lined with blankets and comfy pillows. It was there that I was informed that I would be lifted up in their zero gravity chair and an eye mask would be placed on your eyes for the duration of the pedicure. Ummmmmmm....YESSSSSSSS. I was just blown away. I had a much needed "break" from the rest of the world and didn't have to talk to anyone. I needed that. Now, before I say that I won't ever go back to my usual place, we'll see how the pedicure holds up. I'm not totally holding my breath, but man, I'll go back to MeSpa in a heartbeat, just for the experience. read more

I was in the Naperville me spa last weekend for a pedicure and no chip manicure. This was My second visit to this spa. The first time I was at this spa I only had a pedicure and it was wonderful but last week the pedicure was not worth what I paid. No scrubbing no leg or foot massage and no nail shaping it looks like I did the pedicure myself! I've never had a no chip manicure before but I had friends that have had them and they looked nothing like mine. Again it looks like an amateur did my nails. No cuticle shaping or nail shaping and the polish didn't even cover my whole nail. Also I was told the no chip lasts up to 2 weeks and today is one week later since my manicure it looks messy. In a nutshell for the prices at this spa I would expect nothing but the best instead I received mediocre services. read more

My sister and I went here for pedicures. It is more expensive than your average nail salon but it is definitely worth it! It was incredibly relaxing. They used aromatherapy, warm towels for our necks, very comfortable chairs that they recline and they encourage you to close your eyes. It was very spa like and we left completely relaxed. I have heard such wonderful things about Me-Spa and was soooo excited to go for my mani-pedi. I sent my sister in law for a massage as a gift and she said it was heavenly. I had a Groupon for my services. The morning of my appointment my 9 year old daughter woke up with a migraine, she's had them since she was 5. I called at 8am and left a message. When Me-Spa called back, the receptionist said they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. I said I totally understand, but I can't leave my daughter because she's very ill with a migraine. The receptionist said that my daughter seems young for getting migraines and asked if I could find a babysitter. I said I had no one to watch her. She reluctantly rescheduled my appointment. I was called back 5 minutes later saying that the manager would not allow me to reschedule, not even once, and that they had to redeem my Groupon, which they did. Now I'm out $76 and a much needed and long awaited day at the spa because my daughter was seriously ill. Caveat emptor: If you have a legitimate emergency, expect to pay for your services anyway. Very disappointed and very sad. Update: The director called me back and gave me my Groupon back because of extenuating circumstances. I will now be able to get my long awaited mani-pedi. read more

The relaxation room with the hot shoulder bags and foot soak was a nice touch. Sara G performed all 3 of my services and she was great. My massage was a prenatal one, and she was gentle but firm. She did a great facial and talked about the products but wasn't pushy. The pedicure is crazy. You are reclined, your eyes are covered, you're all wrapped up. Pretty sure I fell asleep!
