I probably should try out another salon next time. Haircut is a big disappointment here.

The spa suites are located on the eighth floor. The facial was pretty standard, slightly mediocre. There were awkward technical issues with the steamer, which took her about five minutes to fix. She did apologize for the issues and ended up getting it working. At the end she had to collect her belongings which is also a little awkward. It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Without time to enjoy the amenities the spa is really just average. I like the brand of soap that they had available and that it is in a private room. The mani/pedi was fine, but if I were to pay for it myself, it wouldn't be worth it. The nail tech Anna was friendly and we had good conversation, but I think the salon focuses on mostly just scrubs and polish because there was no cuticle care or nail prep prior to polish. The massage I had was with Beth and although she was running a few minutes behind and had to step away for something at the front of the house, she still gave me the full 50 minute massage and it was wonderful. My muscles have never felt so light in my life. I got the full educational experience (which I loved) and I got to learn about how to massage my tension points at home between massage sessions as well because I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. The place was clean, the massage rooms were quiet and relaxing. I would 100% recommend a massage there from Beth if you're really looking for a deep tissue massage, but I would pass on the mani/pedi unless you're just looking for something super simple with basic nail polish.

Don't get your nails done here! I got a dip manicure and it didn't even last a week. The nail tech…read moredidn't seem to know what she was doing, and my nails were uneven and bumpy. In just a few hours, the top coat completed peeled. After a few days, the first few nails had the dip separate from my nail. It has now been 9 days, all of my nails are chipped, broken, and/or peeling. I have to go somewhere else for a new manicure now because this will not suffice.

This afternoon, I had an appointment for a massage and facial but unfortunately due to personal issues I was unable to make it for the noon appointment. The receptionist told me I would be charged 50% of the service that I missed. I told her I would be able to make it to the 1 o clock but would be cutting it close. The receptionist was sympathetic and told me that she would not charge me a fee this time and I could just cancel my 1 o'clock and we can just reschedule my appointments with no charge. I was so relieved since I was going in with an expired birthday Groupon that I already had to pay to be able to use for each one. A couple minutes later I get a notification from my bank that I had a charge on my card from the spa. I was so thrown off as to why I was being charged when the receptionist told me she would waive the cancellation fee due to my private life complications. I called the spa back inquiring why I was charged when I was told I would not be. The receptionist told me that her director decided she was still going to enforce the company policy and charge me. No one contacted me to tell me this and I felt that this action was extremely deceptive, as well as unprofessional, to tell me one thing and do another. I was appalled as to how I was convinced that not coming to the 1 o'clock appointment was okay because both would be rescheduled and I was charged for both services. I spoke with the director and she was very rude. I was trying to explain how emergencies happen and I was told that I was okay and not going to be charged this time. All she did was talk very loudly over me, repeating that the receptionist doesn't control the charges and how her massage therapist has to get paid somehow. I could barely get a word in about how it is not right that one person says one thing and then another does another and how they deceived me because I would've made the one appointment if I knew I would be getting charged. The director told me to try to refund my groupon and that there would be nothing she would do to mend this miscommunication from their end. I have never spoken to anyone in the service industry who was so incredibly disrespectful to a paying customer. This spa director fails to acknowledge that some people may have personal things going on in their life that come up unexpectedly, which do not allow for a cancellation 24 hours in advance. I recommend that this spa treats people with more respect, and has some flexibility for unfortunate, unplanned circumstances. I will definitely not be recommending ME SPA to any of my friends or family. read more

I have been a loyal customer at MeSpa for several years, consistently impressed by the expertise of their technicians, especially for pedicures. Unfortunately, a recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning their customer service values. Due to an unexpected emergency, I was unable to make my scheduled appointment on time. I've never been late or canceled at short notice before, so I called the spa as soon as I could to inform them. I offered to either come in to use the remaining time of my scheduled appointment (still over 50 minutes left) or to reschedule. Surprisingly, the response was inflexible; the staff insisted on charging me for the missed appointment without allowing me to receive the service I had already paid for. Despite my request, they refused to reverse the charge. The technicians at MeSpa are truly excellent, and it's their skill that would make me recommend this place for the quality of the pedicures alone. However, when spending over $100 on a service, I expect every aspect--from the front desk to management--to reflect excellence. This was not the case in how my situation was handled. If feeling valued as a customer is important to you, be aware that MeSpa might fall short in this regard. I am saddened to part ways with a business I once held in high regard, but I believe it's crucial to support places that appreciate their customers as much as they do their business. read more

Consumers be very aware when dealing with this company! They have absolutely no business ethics and they'll rip you off without batting an eye. According to the Los Angeles Better Business Bureau, ME-SPA's current rating is less than stellar, and our experience will substantiate this. The Me Spa located in Southlake, TX was closed without warning. Open one day, doors chained shut then next. This indicates that not only didn't they tell their customers; they didn't even provide notice to the building landlord. My wife has a 100-dollar gift card given to her by our son. She contacted Me-Spa corporate headquarters and requested a refund. She was told they would not issue a refund; and the only way she could make use of the card was to come to one of the Me-Spa locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, or Oregon. Right, we live in Texas...that makes sense, to utilize our gift card by traveling hundreds or even thousands of miles. The other option; they would issue a Me-Bath card and we could order some of their products. We don't want any of their products the gift card was for services. Bottom line, this company will not do the right thing when it comes to dealing with their customers. If you have a gift card don't sit on it especially if you live in an area with only one store, you may find yourself with a worthless gift. read more

I recently visited this spa for the first time, and received one of the best massages I have ever had! The staff was very pleasant and facility was exceptional. I do not write reviews, in fact this is my first, since I found it important to share my experience. Specifically, I wanted to acknowledge and thank my masseuse, Deanna. She was FANTASTIC and the main reason I am booking another ME SPA massage. My intention when I booked the appointment was to enjoy a quick relaxing massage in the middle of a hectic week. When I met with Deanna, I casually explained that I was experiencing pain in my lower back, right hip and knee for several months, and had tried PT and a MRI to try and pinpoint the source of my pain. I did not expect her to address my leg since it was a short appointment. However, in one 30 minute massage, Deanna was able to target my trouble spots and alleviate a large portion of my leg pain! I recently visited Me Spa for the first time and had an amazing experience! I had a facial with Nicki and a massage with Alex. Nicki was absolutely great--she worked wonders on my skin, and I noticed such a difference in how my face looks afterward. I'm definitely planning to see her regularly from now on. As for Alex, he was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable, which I really appreciated as a female with a male therapist.
