While visiting family in NY I had to come to one of my favorite neighborhood spots. The chicken tenders here are amazing. Perfection.. the staff is always great and keep the lines moving. There is plenty of parking and you can't go wrong with anything you order here. I've been coming here for over 20 years and it gets better and better every visit. I recommend this to anyone willing to listen and often have friends and family bring me food when they come visit. They even have a food truck that I plan on bringing in during one of my next events. read more

It is absolutely unbelievable that my last review of this gem was in June of 2017. I have been to this delicious deli 3 times in the last 14 years and it has left a lasting impression and big, big smiles. First and foremost - the man himself - Dom - the owner who is a retired Marine ( my Brother, Semper Fi) and his love, his care and his imprint are evident all over this establishment - from the impeccable, well organized and super neat and inviting interior to the entire team that echoes with his love and service to the delicious food. Love that he doubles all voluntary donations made for the wounded Marines. The made to order egg sandwiches - I was here last in early January of 2026 and my four eggs n cheese spk on a roll was devoured in the parking lot(new photo). It was just fantastic. The chef was a happy and fun guy who loved what he was doing. The hot coffee was fresh and tasty and Michelle the kind cashier was on top of everything. The chicken fingers - the piece de resistance!! Got a small container to go and I kept eyeing it as I drove off and eventually pulled over into a nearby shopping center and let the entire neighborhood in on this secret with my vocal approval and singing. The sandwiches looked great. The deli meats looked awesome and the salads looked really appetizing. Parking - 7 spots in the front. Alright before the hate rolls in I have my reasons. Ordered 2 heroes and the chicken fingers along with macaroni salad. The hero drunken chicken parm was legit the sandwich was solid. The Mac salad was top 3 easily and unfortunately the let down was the chicken fingers. They brag about them so much and yet was given lukewarm at best and most were chewy. So had to take stars away. I'm sure this Marine ran location will fix the issues but for now I gotta keep it honest. I would return but probably for the salads and heroes. The store is on the small side and it's definitely mom and pop vibes with a small parking lot. Definitely worth going to but those fingers they brag about need to step up their game. Definitely recommend!!The place is always packed and it gets even busier during the holidays, but it makes sense with how much they offer. Pretty good sandwiches. I've had their tenders more than I care to admit and while it's not life changing as many people on Long Island say, they are pretty good with their honey mustard sauce. A little overwhelming to be inside the store if you don't know what you want or are a first timer. Most of the employees are trying to move the line along so it can be a little pushy, so it's best to know what you want before going in. I usually place the order online ahead of time. read more

Over the last year I've been to a few different parties/events where Dom's chicken fingers were sold and at each one they were the star of the show. They're ADDICTING. I don't know how I lived on Long Island this long without ever trying. This past week I went to a grad party that featured their new food truck and everything served was amazing. The food was pre-portioned and plated but piping hot. I tried their chicken caesar wrap along with an order of chicken and fries. The chicken fingers have a slight hint of sweetness, even without their BOMB honey mustard. Their wrap had a such good ratios and was wrapped to perfection (I can't stand when they fall apart after 2 bites!). Everything was phenomenal! Consider me an official Dom's fan. read more

They're so addictive, and honestly feel like eating fries... except they're chicken, so it's basically guilt-free protein. The honey mustard deserves its own shoutout it's not too thick, tangy, and sweet. It sticks perfectly to the chicken without feeling too heavy, and the flavor balance makes it one of the best honey mustards I've had. We also got the Bella Calabria sandwich, which was fully loaded and packed with flavor. Generous portions, and all the ingredients are fresh (definitely something you need two hands for) Lines can get really long on weekends, so I'd recommend ordering about an hour ahead online to save time. I ordered my wedding catering from here and I had such a great experience. Daniella and Dom were so great work with. They did an amazing job with delivery and catering. Everyone complemented the food except for the rice. I should of known better than to order rice from an Italian deli lol. I went there today. It was my first time there. I was ordering my egg sandwich but the guy behind the counter told me I was standing in the wrong place. I said I was sorry it's my first time here. Dominick's is an amazing place for good fresh-tasty food. They have been here for many years and you only hear great things about this place. Their sandwiches and salads are wonderful. People are always proud that their food come from Dominick's. There are very centrally located off of Herricks Road (close to Jericho Tpke) and there is a parking lot to make it simple for you. It is an extremely in and out. I have been coming here for years, not sure why you have not seen a review from me? This is not a small deli and they are divided up for frozen food, deli counter and take out. There is plenty of room to move around but they do fill up simply because everyone want to be here for the great food. This trip was for the WORLD FAMOUS chicken fingers. We purchased a 1/2 tray which I knew would be plenty until people who do not normally eat these fingers did... and in mass quantity. Everyone loves them. A delicious light coating of breading and very tasty-moist pieces of chicken. Dominick's always nails it. We also purchased a pound of Mozzarella Sticks as long as we were here, and these too were an amazing hit. I could not recommend Dominicks and more than saying: "Come here, come here quickly!" Their honey mustard goes perfectly with their minimal breaded, slightly sweet chicken tenders. We've tried a lot of their sandwiches but our favorite is the Manhattan.
