We're from the northrowns and drove up to a benefit in Gowanda for a good college buddy. On our way…read morehome my wife suggested trying Butera's. Around 3:45 we parked out front and my wife and I plus our 2 children walked in. We were really turned off by the woman who greeted us. She appeared to be a miserable older lady with tatted arms and a disgust toward my wife that has many medical conditions. At this point we were about to walk out. We were blessed with the most incredible waitress, Meghan, that turned our experience completely around. She knew the menu well. Was attentive without being overbearing. The best thing about her was her genuine love for Butera's quality of food and her appreciation of the management. The chicken parm, the chicken broccoli penne, the stinger sandwich, and the chicken alfredo were all excellent! Salad was served cold and was one of our favorites. Going back for sure. Going to try their burgers and pizza. Both of wich we heard nice ratings for! We very highly recommend this establishment!

Butera's kept popping up in my Facebook ads, probably because I'm always talking about pizza. As…read moresoon as I saw it, I sent it to a few friends and we planned a visit for five days later. I was a little hesitant after reading several reviews that mentioned poor customer service, but we decided to give it a try anyway. Thankfully, our experience was much different. Our server was excellent. She was attentive, patient, and even offered drink samples when we were unsure what to order. For appetizers, I ordered the pizza flight featuring the stuffed banana pepper, stinger, and chicken spinach pizzas. The stuffed banana pepper wasn't really my favorite, but the stinger was absolutely delicious. The chicken spinach was good as well. While everything was enjoyable, nothing really wowed me. I also tried the French onion soup, which was flavorful, though I wasn't a fan of the heavy amount of Parmesan cheese on top. A friend ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and found them to be dry and overcooked. She ended up asking for extra sauce to help with the flavor and texture. Overall, I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience the pizza flights and see what Butera's had to offer. The service was great and the food was decent, but it wasn't memorable enough to bring me back for another visit.

We were extremely disappointed with our recent dinner at Hamburg Brewing Company. We had a party of…read moreeight, and from start to finish, the service was very poor. When our entrées arrived, only four of the eight meals were brought to the table. We had to remind our server that the remaining meals were missing. About 10 minutes later, only three more meals arrived, leaving one person still without dinner. Once again, we had to ask for the final meal to be brought out. No one at the table should have to eat at different times because of such poor coordination. The food itself was also underwhelming. The steak fajitas were especially disappointing--they consisted of a few somewhat tough pieces of steak with no peppers or onions, which are basic ingredients for fajitas. The steak hoagie was similarly sparse, containing mostly shaved steak with very few vegetables. To make matters worse, the fries served with the meals were cold. Our appetizer was also mishandled. The charcuterie board arrived with salami, cream cheese, and cheese, but no bread or crackers. We had to ask for those to be brought out. We also had to request small plates because none were provided. Finally, throughout the meal, dirty dishes--including our appetizer plates--were never cleared from the table, leaving us surrounded by stacks of dishes until we were finished. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the disorganized service, multiple forgotten items, cold food, and lack of attention to basic hospitality, we expected much better. Unfortunately, we won't be rushing back.

So when we saw this was kinda on our way we had to stop. There's lots of space, nice outside area, and some good beers.

I really enjoyed drinking at this bar, a nice place to come and drink while you Gamble. While…read moreNathan & Dylan were playing the Slots I decided to get a couple Drinks. The prices for Cocktails here are great (5 bucks a Cocktail) I mean I can get 4 Cocktails for just 20 Bucks I got 2 of them. the bartenders were nice and dressed up like referees. First one was the Blizzard of 77 (Jack Daniel's Whiskey, Amaretto, Frangelico, a Splash of Pepsi and a Lime Wedge) normally I don't like drinking whiskey straight (I like it mixed with other things). I'm glad I could taste all the ingredients and the Hard Whiskey flavor didn't overpower it. 5 minutes later I come back for another Drink, The Tilt-a-Whirl (Myer's Dark Rum, Cherry Brandy, Vermouth, Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice and garnished with a Cherry gummy candy on top). Now I never thought that these ingredients would describe one of the most popular rides at the Fair, but I wanted to give it a Whirl. I could taste everything in there except for the Vermouth. I didn't even pay attention to the Gummy Candy on top. I just finished my drink and then I went over to the Blue Ribbon Grill (see Review) to wait for my Food to be ready. But this is an amazing Bar, Cheapest Cocktails I've ever paid for. Usually I pay 10 to 12 bucks for a cocktail, next time I'll get a few more.
