O'Brien's West End Inn is your typical pub and restaurant with an aged feel. The bar room has the atmosphere you'd expect and want, especially during live music nights. The menu is fairly extensive with typical pub fare and more. We ordered the chicken wings, which had the crunch and heat we were hoping for. Talking with other patrons, the sandwiches and salads were apparently just as a delicious

Delicious gluten free fish fry. Even had gluten free Mac salad. The bar and restaurant were very busy but the owner Kim was very attentive and kind!

We went to see our friend doing open mic. We didn't plan to stay long nor eating dinner. We just want to support the friend for a bit and chit chat. It was Saturday night so the place quite packed. We sat at the bar. We decided to order wings just to nibble on. The wings actually good and juicy, crispy. We might go again next time and try their actual food when it was not so crowded. This place is convenient near our house too. It was not really big but not small either. Decent size.

Following the Tom & Jerry Trail, I came in for dinner and a drink. Dining by myself, I didn't want to take up a whole table but was invited to sit at the bar, if I could secure a seat. I walked around the bar, peeked in the banquet area, and got a seat for a lone high-top over by the popcorn machine. I placed my order at the bar and it came quickly. While I asked for no BBQ sauce on my brisket sandwich, I still wanted cheese. The brisket was rich, and the cheese would have held it all together. The fries were crispy and tasty with a side of mayo. The Tom & Jerry was creamy and delicious. I thought the mug was cute and classic with the gilded rim. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. The bar staff were friendly, the serving staff I spoke with was also very nice and there are plenty of menu options I'd like to try.

Stopped for dinner. The place was pretty quiet. The waitress was nice but not personable. The food came out quick and hot. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The chicken quesadilla was surprisingly good also! My husband always gets the brisket and loves it.

A small place to get good home cooked food. The staff made sure they had an answer for our menu questions and had everything we needed. The tables were near each other, so it was kind of noisy. All the food from the apps, soup and main meals were well prepared and tasty. Basic menu but still a little bit of everything to appeal to all.

We went here to try the Tom and Jerry's. We enjoyed one in the bar with some free popcorn and live music as we waited for our table. It was tasty. We were seated in a nice cozy room for dinner and ordered French Onion soup which was good. Ordered the beef on weck per recommendation of our enthusiastic and helpful waitress. She didn't steer us wrong. It was delicious. My partner ordered the brisket sandwich which was thick cuts of meat. We didn't eat a lot of it in restaurant, but made some awesome brisket nachos for leftovers at home with wonderful smoked pepper jack cheese that they sell bricks of! Highly recommend you take home some of their smoked cheese, I'd go back for it! Nice experience. Great service. Looks like they have a banquet room as well.

The building is very interesting. There was a banquet wrapping up, a band playing the bar area with a good crowd, and the dining room was comfortably busy/winding down around 8. It was nice we could hear the live music without it being too loud. We ordered the French onion soup, shrimp alfredo, and Nashville hot chicken. Everything was cooked well but tasted very bland. The French onion soup was good, but sadly it was as if it had been watered down over and over. The chicken was not spicy at all, and came with nothing on the sandwich. The Alfredo was cooked properly but had no seasoning. We pretty much packed the entrees up to go, and brought them home to make edible. The staff was competent and fast, but no one seemed remotely excited or happy to be there.

So we got ourselves the spinach and artichoke dip as well as the crab Rangoon egg rolls - turns out the egg rolls were a special which did not count for the 1/2 off. The dip was fine and I liked the egg rolls a lot. We then had French onion soups which were also fine. We ended up both ordering the Gorgonzola streak Alfredo. This was a major disappointment. The sauce on this pasta was indeed a white sauce, but that was where its resemblance to Alfredo sauce ended. Alfredo should be buttery and thick, cream and cheesy. This was as thin as milk and flavorless. I ate my steak off the top and was done with it. I'm going this place 3 stars because the staff was all wonderful. The server I had was so nice and the host and bartender seemed really friendly with everyone who was in and out while we were there.

Unfortunately, that really wasn't our experience. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The entire place felt tired and dirty. The carpets looked heavily worn and stained, the booths had food stuck in the crevices, and overall it just didn't feel clean or well maintained. The dishes and drinkware didn't help. The coffee mugs, which were once white, were badly stained and dingy looking. My mother actually rubbed something off hers, and the waitress explained that it "wasn't dirty, just stained." Not exactly the best first impression, especially at $55 per person for brunch. We ordered mimosas after that, hoping things would improve, but even the champagne glasses looked questionable and were filled to noticeably different levels. Then the food arrived, and unfortunately it only got worse. Everything was served "family style," but there was no menu or explanation of what was coming. The meal felt random and poorly executed. Some highlights included: * A single store-bought pastry cut into pieces * Mac and cheese that tasted like boxed Velveeta * Deep-fried breakfast sausages * Ham that resembled warmed-up lunch meat * Three shrimp total for two people * A bowl of stew meat that felt completely out of place * An Eggs Benedict attempt that simply didn't work To make matters worse, some of the silverware and plates appeared dirty as well. By the end, we honestly couldn't wait to leave. The automatic $20 holiday service charge on top of the already expensive brunch really sealed the experience for us. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in quite a while.

Overpriced, Unsanitary, and Unprofessional - A $500 Disaster…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent experience was truly appalling. We visited with a party of 11, including my 88-year-old grandfather. Despite the high price point--our bill was nearly $500--the standards of service and cleanliness were non-existent. The Issues: Accessibility & Cleanliness: There were zero handicap parking spots available. Inside, the restaurant was filthy; there was old food and trash under our booth, and the bathroom was in a state of neglect with toilet paper left on dirty surfaces rather than the holder. The Environment: We were greeted by stained, soiled paper menus and a swarm of fruit flies that stayed with us throughout the entire meal. Poor Service: We waited 50 minutes for basic dinner salads. My grandfather's coffee took 45 minutes to arrive. The waitress appeared visibly annoyed that she had to walk around our booth to serve us. Cheap Substitutes: For the price of a strip steak, you expect quality. Instead, we were served Aldi-brand steak sauce. When I asked for A1, I was handed a filthy, food-smeared bottle that was nearly empty. The "Refill" Incident: Our initial drinks were served half-empty. When we asked for refills, the waitress told us to finish our current glasses because they weren't free and she "didn't want to charge us." In the end, we were charged for them anyway. Overpriced Food: The French Onion soup is served in tiny metal bowls, not crocks. To top it off, we paid $22 for two "slices" of cheesecake to go--one of which was a literal sliver of cake. While the food itself was decent, no meal is worth this level of disrespect and lack of hygiene. I will never recommend this establishment.
