We have enjoyed this gem twice now. In December we participated in the Italian wine and food pairing, it was outstanding. We also enjoyed a delicious Valentine's Day dinner. The gracious owner remembered us from the December dinner. The food and service were top notch. Photo's are from Valentine's Day.

They had a nice patio to enjoy on a summer day. The server was very knowledgeable on drinks and menu items. They had many choices for apps that appealed to all of us with different wants. The house dip was full of flavours and went well with the toasted pita. We tried the crispy deviled eggs, and it was an interesting texture and taste. Not sure it was for our tastes. The lamb lollipops were tender and full of flavour they melted in your mouth. It didn't take long for our meals to come out after the appetizers. They were large and presentation was great. The pad thai, fish tacos, and 174 burgers were some of our favorites. Will be back to try more of their main courses and sit on the patio for dinner and drinks.

I work in the area a lot and am always impressed by the food in Hamburg, this spot was no different. I came in pretty late, close to 9pm, so was excited that they were still serving food because I ended up at work later than expected and did not want to eat fast food. They welcomed me with open arms! It's a cool little space with a very modern, chic atmosphere, but the workers make it feel very casual. I ended up getting the ravioli and was so happy to see ALL the asparagus on top. It was freaking SO delicious. Fresh shaved parm. Omg. Definitely hit the spot. They also talked me into taking a slice of the Chef's moms peanut butter pie home with me, and I'm so glad I did. I actually ate it for breakfast the next day (haha!) and it was SO GOOD. I will be recommending this spot to my coworkers and will absolutely be back next time I'm in town.

174 Buffalo is a true hidden gem in the village of Hamburg. Came here with my mom on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm so glad I did! We had reservations for a Friday dinner, which definitely came in handy because the place was packed. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts and I loved them! Which is saying something because Brussels sprouts typically aren't my favorite. I opted for one of their specials for dinner, a blackened salmon Caesar salad. It was a huge portion and it all tasted fresh and delicious. My mom got the short rib on weck, and as a huge beef on weck lover, she was in heaven. On top of the delicious food, the service was fabulous as well. I'm not in Hamburg often, but I'm absolutely going to come back here in the future. You just can't beat it!

Service is great, ample parking. Try the filet mignon, scallops were a special. Polish-style cheesecake, coconut cheese cake, carrot cake and peanut butter pie were lovely. Kevin was very helpful in selecting entrees!

Great place within walking distance for us. We had a party of four celebrating a family birthday and we sat on the patio. Loved the vibe on the patio! Server was very attentive and answered all of our questions. We started with the burrata special as an app. It was served fried with toast points, mesclun, sun dried tomatoes and balsamic glaze. Delicious. I could have ordered this for my meal. I ended up getting the salmon as my main course. It was good, but nothing stood out. Two of my companions ordered the steak special, their review was good, but the steaks were cooked a little more than their requested medium. I liked the fried onions on the steak...different! I love their cocktail menu and would happily come back for some drinks and apps. Highly recommend the Neo Cafe!

    Deviled eggs

Deviled eggs were incredible. Got the filet which was good. The veggies and potatoes weren't very warm. My husbands Waygu steak was eh. Would go back for drinks and apps.

Food for foodies at last! Absolutely obsessed with the homemade Caesar dressing. Intimate cozy ambiance for winter or summer. Yummy drinks. Will be returning!

Upon arriving, the hostess told us that the outdoor reservation actually means nothing and its first come first serve for seating. So, that wasn't great. As always, the space was great. The rooftop bar was fantastic - great weather and a live DJ made it a really fun place to hang out on a Friday night. The bar upstairs didn't have as good of a cocktail menu as inside, which was okay! We ordered our food directly at the bar. Black Smoke used to have a delicious BBQ inspired menu. They have recently updated their menu, and I wasn't impressed. We ordered the Mac and cheese croquettes, the steak flatbread, and the chips and dip. The Mac and cheese balls were good but they were very heavily seasoned with Italian seasoning - it was a little overpowering. I had heard great things about the steak flatbread - steak, goat cheese, caramelized onions, and fresh spring greens. The flatbread arrived and was cut into these little triangles and was stacked on top of eachother and the spring greens seemed like they were cooked on the pizza instead of sprinkled on after. This made the flatbread taste kind of swampy and completely negated the delicious onion and flat cheese combo going on. If you got a bite without the spring greens it was tasty. The chips and dip were the one thing I had no issues with. The chips were thick and homemade and the dip was creamy, oniony, and delicious! Overall, the bartenders were amazing, the drinks were good, and the vibes were top tier. I just won't be back for dinner any time soon.

She needed a place to eat and as I was looking at her location I seen this wasn't too far off from interstate 90 where she was. Read her the menu options and she wanted mac n cheese. I called it in and explained that she's handicapped and I am ordering this for her. They were super accommodating and even brought the food out to her when ready. I surprised her with pretzel bites which she enjoyed. Her only real complaint was no utensils came in her bag so she had to wait to eat the mac. I had some when she finally came home, we reheated it the next day. I thought it was ok. I enjoyed toasting the pretzels in the toaster more. I'm sure a good dine in spot with a vibe but.

The prices for Cocktails here are great (5 bucks a Cocktail) I mean I can get 4 Cocktails for just 20 Bucks I got 2 of them. the bartenders were nice and dressed up like referees. First one was the Blizzard of 77 (Jack Daniel's Whiskey, Amaretto, Frangelico, a Splash of Pepsi and a Lime Wedge) normally I don't like drinking whiskey straight (I like it mixed with other things). I'm glad I could taste all the ingredients and the Hard Whiskey flavor didn't overpower it. 5 minutes later I come back for another Drink, The Tilt-a-Whirl (Myer's Dark Rum, Cherry Brandy, Vermouth, Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice and garnished with a Cherry gummy candy on top). Now I never thought that these ingredients would describe one of the most popular rides at the Fair, but I wanted to give it a Whirl. I could taste everything in there except for the Vermouth. I didn't even pay attention to the Gummy Candy on top. I just finished my drink and then I went over to the Blue Ribbon Grill (see Review) to wait for my Food to be ready. But this is an amazing Bar, Cheapest Cocktails I've ever paid for. Usually I pay 10 to 12 bucks for a cocktail, next time I'll get a few more.

The stone building with white pillars and green awnings provides a sophisticated view, but there's a laid back and relaxing feeling that permeates the restaurant. Large dinning rooms, seating at the bar, and a large patio in back gives a chance for everyone to spread out, leaving it mostly quiet for your dining experience. The menu gives a solid selection, with prices about where you would expect them. We chose the Strawberry Daiquiri from the frozen cocktail list, the pound of mussels, pound of wings - garlic parmesan, and the crunch rolls. The Daiquiri hit the spot at the end of the day, and the mussels and crunch rolls met expectations. The surprise was the wings! The outside was crispy and crunchy like fresh wings are, and the garlic parmesan was a flavor that stayed in our mouths long after we had left the restaurant. I mean that in the best way possible... they were delicious! That's the food... but the view! Sitting at the top of the golf course, the view was amazing! The sprawling green lawns and pockets of trees amplified the relaxing, calming atmosphere. We needed it after busy weeks and hectic schedules. I am giving it a three instead of a four because of one thing: the food took over an hour to arrive on our table. Not being terribly crowded and being items from the Appetizers list, we thought this a little unusual. We did notice that two parties had to leave with their entrees as "to-go" after their waiting as well. But... as we had gone to relax and are not in a rush, we had few complaints ourselves.
