I've heard customers be rude and be excused for it because "We just gave them bad news about their car, it's understandable they're upset, it's OK." I've seen them give customers money back because it cost less money and man hours than they quoted. This shop gave me the lowest quote for replacing the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and water…read morepump .. me being a single mother, i decided to let them do the work. 1 day after I picked up, my motor mount broke on my van, causing all my protective shells underneath car to come out underneath. Me hearing the motor mount snap I almost wrecked my car into a ditch. I called them and brought it back, they said it looked like i wrecked my car because their was grass all stuck underneath(from me trying to pull over after hearing a distinctive noise that something was not right). They stated that when my van came in it was missing bolts from the motor mount. I never heard anything about it or had any problems with my van besides the timing belt. Now currently, after paying almost 1700 dollars to them on July 7th, I have taken my van many places. My oil is leaking in three different places including the valve cover gaskets that they claimed they replaced. My transmission fluid is leaking, and my power steering hose is leaking. Other shops wants 2,500 to 3,000 to fix these problems that I could have avoided had i not taken the cheapest quote. I honestly regret taking it to them because my van is so damaged I haven't gotten to use it much because of all the leakage. I am told by several shops that its because the installer was not careful while installing. Also, the lady at the counter is 100 percent rude and yes I did get smart with her after she said they refuse to help me with fixing anything that is now broken and was not leaking before. They ruined a perfectly good vehicle and I have proof from 2, almost 3 shops. It is at another shop now getting diagnosed once again. Do not go with the lower quotes, pay the extra money for it to get done the right way or you will end up with no vehicle like I have and they did nothing about it but blame me for it. Also, always get your car or sum thoroughly checked out before you send it to any shop and get it in writing so that if something does go wrong, you at least have something to prove the damages were caused by said shop. I didnt do this, and now by the looks of it, they won and I have no vehicle

I have been taking my cars to him for around 8 years whenever I needed an oil change or any car repair. He is very good at what he does. He has never steered me wrong. In the past if I couldn't get into Bob's and I had to take my car someplace else the other places would tell me that I needed this and that done to my car. Not feeling sure about what they'd tell me, I would wait till I could get into Bob's and he'd look it over and find out that I didn't need everything done to it like the other places claimed. That's why I only trust Bob with all of my car repair needs. His son works with him, as well, and is also an honest person. If you're tired of all these other car service places lying to you, then take it to Bob!

I can't express how relieving it is to find a mechanic you can can't on and even more importantly…read moreone you can TRUST. This guy is just that. Unbelievable! This shop has a new customer for life with me. I implore everyone to take all of their car needs to this guy before he becomes too well known! His garage seems like an unoccupied barn and I dropped my car off early in the morning before he opened so I was low key nervous I even had the right place. Plus I had him work on my mercedes which made me nervous cuz most of our local mechanics wouldn't even touch it cuz it's too "complex." I was being quoted $200 for an oil change and that's if the mechanic was even willing to do it in the first place. I am not the biggest car expert but it's wild that so many of the big brand shops in this country won't even consider doing anything to a car that isn't a Ford or Chevy. But this guy got mine tuned up, filled my tires, topped off my coolant all for $73! Plus he had it done lickity split. Well done and I can't say enough what a relief it is to have met him. This guy deserves to have the biggest auto business in the county but I'm selfishly hoping he stays as small as he is now because he simply can't be beat and I want to keep him as my only mechanic.

You ask…read more Well... because he nearly convinced me to NOT get anything done during his initial inspection. Not even kidding. He was ready to pass on a quick easy job just to be fair and honest. Which I was super suspicious of (just kidding). So, back story. My wife was driving on 465 when she all the sudden heard a loud POP and the car started pulling heavily to the right. She was reasons shocked. So I googled auto repair near me because I definitely wasn't going back to the place in Indy I'd been before... reference my horrible review of Caliber Collision, and I found this guy. He's three minutes away from where I live and works out of a barn in his back yard so I was like, "whatever... if he does bad work I'll just Yelp him to death" and took my car to get it checked out. I was immediately impressed that the barn in in fact a legit mechanic workshop with hydraulic lifts and everything else you expect from a mechanic. So I was already impressed when he opened the door. Then he puts it through his 99 million point inspection and was like, "idk dude... I don't see anything wrong" to which I responded, "just replace the shocks anyway so my wife feels safe in the car". He already discussed pricing with me so I was good with that but then he comes out and says, "cool I'll have it ready for you tomorrow night". I was expecting like a week or something but he said less than 24 hour turn around. I was very impressed with that. Anyway to conclude this, I've gotten my car back and he did great work on it. Drives better than it did before. I am definitely going to be referring people I know to him in short order.
