They have 2 wine flight tastings to choose from and even though we chose one, he poured us a few wines from the other tasting menu. When he saw that I wasn't thrilled about the first 2 wines, he asked me what I liked and started to tailor the wines to what I like. I loved this place! I initially tried their wines at the SF Vintners event. Tom and Andrew introduced me to a delicious Roussanne, I came back to purchase some in their tasting room and fell in love with all of their wines. They have an amazing Viogner and anniversary Cuvee which is a delicious Napa Valley Bordeau blend. Ariana was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had such an amazing time with her that we joined their wine club. We are so excited to be members of their wine club and enjoy all that Meadowcroft has to offer. I encourage you to try this place! What a great experience! We did the Blending experience with Elaine and had a wonderful time. We had gone wine tasting all day the day before and wanted somewhat of a different experience and I would highly recommend it. We learned so much about blending, wines, history of the vineyards, Sonoma and Napa...we got to learn how they plant and harvest, how to taste the different grapes, blend to our taste, and left with our own wine, bottled and labelled. Everyone from 22 to 75 y.old had a blast. We had the privilege of meeting Tom himself towards the end and if you're looking to lean about and taste wine in a different way, look no further. They are truly sharing their passion. I just wish we had the option of doing this later in the day (10 am is a bit rough - but that might have been me booking too late in the month) but in the end, loved it nonetheless. read more

This was our favorite tasting during our vacation to Sonoma. The place was empty on a Friday afternoon and the inside is dog friendly (while most other wineries only allow the dogs outside) and very cozy with nice chairs and couches. We felt extremely welcomed by the woman who did our tasting and we ended up buying two wines though we went in determined not to purchase any more. She was a great salesperson without being pushy at all. It was a great experience. read more

This is not only just a great place to taste in Cornerstone, but I think it's the reason I'd come back to Cornerstone on the regular. We had such a good time tasting and appreciated that they were dog friendly. I went for their Grand Opening, It was a fun filled afternoon. You couldn't have asked for a nicer day. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. First of all Stephen is awesome. The wines - better than average, but (for me) nothing to write home about. My husband brought me here as a birthday treat though. We had a private tasting under a willow tree out by the pond in the vineyards. Then Stephen sang happy birthday to me back in the tasting area. We sat by the beautiful water fountain set up outside which just mesmerized me. Never have I appreciated my small bladder more than when it forced a stop near Meadowcraft. The unintentional stop allowed me to stumble upon this amazing tasting room in Sonoma. It is located in a lovely shopping area with a variety of boutique shops, a restaurant, and a fantastic garden by Sunset magazine. The tasting room is beautiful and DD was an amazing host. The portfolio of wines is outstanding and are well priced. I believe the winemaker's mission is to make great wine that everyone can afford to enjoy. We joined the wine club and were able to select our wines for the first shipment. It also came with a complimentary full glass pour to enjoy during our lunch around the corner. This was a standout winery amongst those in both Napa and Sonoma during the weekend visit. After using the Yelp coupon to visit Keating wines we stopped at Meadowcroft Wines. Darby manned the tasting room on that day and we had a blast visiting with her and tasting the fabulous wine. Best part? We walked out with a case of Verdelho for a bargain basement price. LOVED this winery. The people, the wine, everything was great. My family and I were on a Sonoma wine tour around Valentine's day and stopped into this winery. Mike was there helping his wife for the day and while he said he didn't know much about wine and that she was the expert, we were shown quite the opposite. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and so much fun! His wife came in later and both of them together made our experience great. My family didn't drink much red wine before stopping off at Meadowcroft, but afterwards we left with bags of red wine and signed up for their wine club. The Thomas Henry Zinfindel and Meritage were two of my favorites and my wine club shipment can't come quick enough! I would definitely go back for a visit and plan to take full advantage of my wine club membership! read more

My husband came here as the first stop on the Platypus Wine Tour. I really enjoyed standing next to the vineyard, tasting the grapes right off the vine and learning how to taste wine. We had a small group tour and finished off by tasting a few more wines back in the tasting room. I have to say that I wasn't a huge fan of any of the wines except the port, which I bought a bottle of right there on the spot! We were introduced to this winery via Groupon deal for a bottle bread and cheese plate and a tasting. We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and were served by Phyllis the tasting room manager. She told us about each wine and about about the winemaker as well. We were there easily over an hour chatting about wine that we really enjoyed. We tried the other label they bottle as well and too were very pleased. We left with the one included bottle as well as a second and we joined their wine club! Can't wait until October for the first shipment and also until were back up in Sonoma again. I was in town visiting and was in the market for a few bottles of reds to take home with me. Ariana was extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful in narrowing down my decision on wines to bring home. We also spoke to Andrew, who is one of the directors at the winery. They were both extremely hospitable, friendly, and entertaining. A few friends and I bought meadowcrofts groupon deal. We thought it sounded like a great deal and hoped it would be worth the hour long drive as most of our napa/ sonoma groupons had been. However we were very disappointed with both the service and the wines. Our groupons included cheese and charchuterie plates that had very small portions. To top it off the two plates that arrived at our table had drastically different portions on them. We did not feel welcome throughout our visit. Rather than using the groupon as a way to welcome a new customer it was as though they were trying to get rid of some unwanted bottles of wine and used the groupon deal as a way to do it. Only bad experience of our week long fantastic vacation in wine country. Will not return. read more

Really good wines, great staff, no fee for joining the wine club. If you don't traditionally enjoy Riesling, try theirs, it is not overly sweet. We loved the port, and stocked up since it is available in the tasting room only (no mail orders or club offerings). Andrew and Elaine are the absolute best! My sisters and I planned a 10-day trip throughout California for my moms 60th birthday. Having never been to California before, we had to rely on Google. We struck gold with this one. Did the vineyard tour and created our own wine. The grounds are breathtaking and creating our own wine was the coolest experience! I was part of a wine blending experience and vineyard tour. It was amazing beyond words and I would highly recommend this to anyone, a novice or even an experienced wine enthusiast. Ross and I visited your sampling room in April of this year (2011) and we so enjoyed Meadowcroft's Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet, but especially the Cabernet Sauvignon.
