We LOVED our recent wine tasting experience here! This is a very intimate setting, much better than other big wineries in the area. It was a super hot day, and we got seated in their covered patio area in a corner, perfect for a small group and our dog. Ari was the sweetest, most patient person ever! The owner also came by to say hi and told us more about the wine. One of us became a wine club member on the spot, coz we just loved the wines and the experience. Some of our favorites: 2017 Riesling (quite possibly the best riesling I have ever had), 2019 pinot noir rose, and the 2016 Mt Veeder cab. The cab was absolutely phenomenal. I don't usually spend more than $30 on a bottle of wine, but am totally willing to shell out $90 for this, well $70 ish if I buy it from my wine club friend. :p They are just such nice and warm people. In COVID times, they are also considerate and flexible on wine club commitments depending on members' situation. I am already looking forward to coming back! It's not often that I go to a winery and like every single wine, but that's what happened when I recently visited Meadowcroft for a tasting. I started with a pour of the blanc de blanc -- a delightfully tart, white sparkling wine (and my favorite of all the wines!). I also really enjoyed the malbec rose (SUCH a unique rose!), the cabernet sauvignon (so smokey!), and the port (thick, sweet perfection!). But really, ALL of the wines were nice. I left with a bottle of the blanc de blanc! I really appreciated the laid-back, mellow vibe of this tasting room. A lot of places feel stuffy and pretentious, but not Meadowcroft. The wine pourers were knowledgeable, yet down-to-earth and approachable. The space is nicely decorated and located in the super fun Cornerstone Market. Definitely make a point to walk out to the gardens -- they were stunning! All in all, Meadowcroft Winery left a very good taste in my mouth. :) read more

It's not a traditional Winery setting, but the grounds are great! There was a beautiful garden to stroll through, and other shops and food options on the grounds. The wines are delicious and the gift shop items were very cute! The options for sizes were limited, otherwise we would have spent a good amount on that. Came here for wine tasting during 4th of July weekend! They are located at the Cornerstone, pretty good spot. They had outside patio seating available for reservation and they were also taking some walk-ins for outside seating around the cornerstone area. We started with a glass of bubbles, and then went on to 4 tasting size servings. I picked all reds, and the malbec and cabernet were good. Cheeseboard was included in the tasting option which I thought was a great deal! For COVID related safety, staff were all wearing masks and we signed a waiver as well. With all the competition that comes with Sonoma, I have to say that this was probably the best winery we went to in terms of how the wine tastes. All the wines we spoiled ourselves with were consistently good, from the whites to the reds. The wines were superb and the staff I encountered are not only well informed and educated, but go above and beyond for your tasting experience! The landscaping is honestly fit for a wedding and now that I've visited I'm deeply considering! This is not your standard wine tasting or winery visit, you will fall in love once you enter the parking lot!! The details of literally everything are so intricate from the plants potted to the details on each bottle - which they make into candles through another company! The owner Tom was amazinggg he came up to the table and gave so much information and insight on the wines. I visited for a wine tasting. Everything was great ! The customer service was top tier we had a handsome server from New York (we're gonna call him New York lol) he was funny and informative! Helped me pick a bottle to purchase (not mandatory) but I had to die to the customer service from him and Tom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Stopped by after an event and tried some of their wines. Besides getting out of the heat they have some really good wine. On the white side I really liked the French Colombard. We had been to many other wineries this weekend. The wines here were good, the Temple? Chardonnay and Anderson Valley Pinot noir stood out the most. There was a good amount of seating and tables as well. The tasting menus were a good value and selection, $20 for five! For light lovers, I wouldn't recommend the dessert wines because they're mixed with Brandy and too heavy, go for the rosé instead. The service was ok because there was an unusual amount of people for a sunday, but we did enjoy the times our host came over and chatted! There was a billing error that compelled me to write a review but our host reached out to me immediately and resolved the issue - no complaints there :) Overall I would come back to try the other whites! read more

One of many stops on our Cali wine tour! So good we had to stop here twice! We did a quick tasting on a Saturday picking up our race packets, we enjoyed it so much that we came back on Monday for a private tasting. Because my husband and I ended up signing up for the wine club our tasting was free for our group ($15 per person). We were lucky again in that we were the only ones in there, this is a smaller room so crowded (like it was on Saturday) it's not as enjoyable. We sat down in some comfy chairs and enjoyed our tasking very much! If you wonder out behind the tasting room you can find some areas to take beautiful pictures of the gardens and vineyard! So glad I finally got to stop here and try Meadowcroft wines. My wife and I have driven by this place so many times and always thought it was some Sunset magazine store or event center. We never knew there was a beautiful outdoor space with multiple styles of gardens, stores, a restaurant, and of course, Meadowcroft wines. We were lucky enough to go on a tour of the beautiful gardens, try some of their delicious wines and enjoy it all under the warm sun. Dawn, Andrew, and the rest of the staff were so friendly, informative, and a pleasure to be around. We will definitely be back. read more

Andrew did an amazing job teaching us about the wines we were tasting, all of which were delicious. We definitely took a bottle home. An OK winery at best. I came here as part of a wine tour. It was a $5 tasting fee for 6 wines, which wasn't a bad price. The wine glasses were a larger than usual so the 1 ounce pours looked really deceiving. We tasted the wines outside, they even had some grapes going under "veraison" (yayy for remembering stuff from wine class).They allow you to pick the grapes as well, although I chose not to do that. There was only ONE wine that I liked which was the 2010 Thomas Henry Sauvignon Blanc. Everything else just went haywire after that. The Chardonnay, Riesling, and the reds were just not good. There were quite a few bees around the area, which totally distracted me from tasting. It doesn't surprise me that their hallmark is a honeybee for that matter even though that's not how it came about. Yeah.. I won't be coming back here. read more

Like the coven of blood-thirsty vampires from Twilight, my teeth are tinged with gory red-stained highlights. Fortunately, however, I didn't have to make out with dirty James to achieve it. Meadowcroft Zin is to die for and is the reason for my "award-zinning" smile that is pasted on my face at this very moment. I am a reds girl at heart, and with this top notch zin pumping through my veins, I will forever remain. My friend, on the other hand, fell in love with the Thomas Henry Verdelho. Well, like they say, opposites attract. When my friend and I arrived to taste, we were promptly greeted by a swell gal named Darby. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, explaining interesting attributes of the wines we were tasting. She was very down to earth, unlike many other pretentious tasting rooms I have visited. Like their wines, it was refreshing. The tasting room itself is classically decorated showcasing beautiful local art and old family photographs and is ideally situated in the Cornerstone Gardens. In addition, there is an insanely HUGE blue chair that sits caddy-corner from the tasting room that is great for photo ops. Especially, after a nice round of tastings! I think half of the fun was posing on the chair and shouting, "Hey, Look at me, I'm on an insanely HUGE blue chair!!! This thirsty vino-pire is strongly anticipating another bottle of a Meadowcroft red and longs to return. read more

Meadowcroft is a gem among the mass of tasting rooms in Sonoma; such a treat! I stumbled onto Meadowcroft by the Winery Finder app giving me a free tasting upon my visit (2 samples per person). Besides Meadowcroft, they also have another label named Thomas Henry for affordable day-to-day wine. During my Weekend, I stopped by Meadowcroft twice since I wanted to pick up more wine from them. It's located inside Cornerstone Sonoma (cafes) making it the perfect place to have a tasting around lunch time. I would say both visits were pleasant, but their Creative Director was terrific during my second stop. Even though he was working solo, he was attentive to all the customers. I ended picking up an EXTRA, EXTRA bottle! 2011 Reserve Merlot - SALE $20.00 Velvety and sooo smooth. What I love most about is the cocoa aka chocolate finish in the end, I ended up picking two bottle, love it! Port - $36 Light Body Port that's silky and so Delicious to drink! One bottle, please! 2011's Oak Knoll Cabernet Sauvignon Although this wine was not for me, I love the experience I had with this wine. I TASTED Green Pepper in a wine for the first time, fascinating! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and delicious wine! Exactly what you want when you visit wine country. I highly recommend the French Colombard and anniversary cuvée wines. The white French Colombard could compliment things with a lime like background so maybe tacos or Thai food and the anniversary cuvée is big and bold and could compliment any type of red meat dish. Im told they offer a mix your own wine where you taste and mix and bottle it up to take home. What fun is that? And it offers something fun and different when you bring friends and family to the area. I highly recommend stopping here, the nice thing is you can also see other vendors in the area too once you're done, I almost stopped for a freshly made waffle cone with ice cream but I had to run away to save myself from the added sugar. Our second visit. First was awesome, really cool lady from Valencia maybe? Second visit, total failure. Young guy, no knowledge. Asked about oak vs stainless steel, clueless, had to go ask. No one was there. Slooow refills. Went inside to check, he was staring at his phone. Small pours, not consistent. Brought out bottles already opened, with very little wine in them. How long has been sitting around ‍. Best part, just before leaving, paying, other lady comes out and says what's his name went on break, can I check you out? Umm, yes, pls do. Thanx for the basic hand off... hey guys, I'm going on break, ; it's so busy), so and so will take care of you. Not. Frankly, the wine was sub par, not like we remember. Yikes, very disappointing. Such a cute winery in Cornerstone. They are a relatively small winery, but they have some crazy cool wines. My favorite is the Merlot which has a jalapeno taste (sounds weird, and it sort of is, but in an AMAZING way). The staff was very friendly - they were very knowledgable about the wines. They waive the tasting fee with purchase of bottles. If you are looking for some truly unique wines, this is an awesome place to go! read more

This past weekend I visited Meadowcroft with my boyfriend and another couple. It was our second tasting of the day so we didn't yet know how to compare it to the other wineries. We were very impressed by the woman who helped us (I wish I remembered her name, but after a long day of tasting, I can't remember much!). She even offered to take our photo, which was really nice... we didn't even have to ask! One of the wines that stood out was the Mt. Veeder Cab which was absolutely delicious, but our favorite wine was the "All She Wrote" Port. We visited six other wineries and at the end of the day we ended up going back to Meadowcroft to pick up two bottles of the All She Wrote. I posted our photo that was taken there on Facebook and Twitter and quickly received a thank you. Not only is this a fantastic place to visit, but they are very active on social media, which is important these days. All four of us agreed that Meadowcroft's wines were our favorite of the day. I am currently on a mission to convince my boyfriend to join their wine club. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. EXCELLENT experience. We had a blast for my birthday at Meadowcroft. We actually found them through Airbnb where they offer an amazing wine blending experience, which was unlike anything else we did in Napa. We ended up spending hours here tasting and talking with the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The location is really cute with a beautiful outdoor seating area. It's also walking distance to a great restaurant, so recommend doing a tasting here and walking to lunch after. It was a great afternoon. read more

Had a nice tasting of their wines for a friend's birthday Sonoma bus tour - the first stop was Cornerstone and we had a chill time outside. They brought us our wines, glasses, and some bread/meats/cheese. There were umbrellas, chairs, shade from the trees, and various areas with outdoor furniture. It was really laid back (there were 30-40 of us) as we just got several bottles of each wine and got to serve ourselves, go at our own pace. To be honest I don't remember much of the actual wines but they tasted good and I just had a nice time! Later on I looked at all the photos of the grounds and really regretted not walking around more - I didnt realize there was so much more to the winery that was so beautiful and people had weddings there!
