I had half the mind to turn around immediately but I figured since I'd already made the drive, I might as well peruse the selection. Quick synopsis: barely a half-decent selection and over-priced (even paying a few bucks more than a competitor 3 minutes down the road is annoying). The employees were apathetic and not helpful at all. I asked them where I could find a specific wine and they just pointed and said, "it's over there." Honestly, it looks like the owner just went to Colfax and grabbed a couple people off the street at random and put them to work - their performance surely seems that way. I by no means have high standards when it comes to liquor stores, nor do I expect world-class service everywhere I go. With that said, it's not difficult to clean up and/or simply hire employees that have some semblance of a desire to help. I usually don't write scathing reviews, I'd prefer to good reviews, commending employees and/or owners for their hard work. Sometimes, however, you have such a poor experience at an establishment that you need to document it for the sake of other (potential) customers.

They have a ton of fragrances and decorations for the home, body care products, ergonomic products, and of course my favorite section, the international foods. They had both a travel size and a full size jar of lavender honey, which is something I've been looking for for years, so I had to get it. I also found this cute little teeny tiny travel-size bottle of Tajin (Because no cucumber slice, mango slice, or pineapple chunk is complete without it!), and some international snack foods that I have been struggling to find back on the East Coast. I left for the few other things as well but these are my favorites! The staff were really patient as we made our final selections and headed towards the register. They could have rushed us out, but instead they just started cleaning up and as soon as we noticed, we immediately made our way to check out. The cashier was very friendly and kind, which was the capstone on an already fantastic shopping experience. I wish we had more time to shop, but I think our wallets (as well as my limited suitcase space) agree that it was just enough.

Ended up with a set that has bingo in it so we can play that after pulling the crackers. The cashier was polite and they have a rewards program if you shop here a lot. Parking in shared lot. I picked up a recent private Barrell ECBP pick (cannot recall the name - has a Danny DeVito sticker on the back). The store has a great layout, lots of beer, wine, and other spirits to choose from and was clean and inviting. Good location, with a large parking lot (for those times when everyone is bum rushing the local liquor store!). I will definetely stop by this store the next time I'm in the Lone Tree area.
