Please note they are a tad greasy and again, large. So don't come in for just a snack! The meat on both were the superstars. They also are a full butchery (they even have a subscription box!). So there are meats in the case and marinated options galore. We came for breakfast but left with some chicken and red meat options for dinner this week. It's a tad expensive for both sandwiches and the meats but all in all seem right for the quality. Service was also fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable and ready to help. We got street parking but there's also a small lot it's attached to. There's some counter seating outside you can eat at once you order. Would def recommend!

I was next door grabbing coffee, saw a steady stream of people coming in and out, and couldn't resist hopping over for a turkey sandwich to go. They text you when your order is ready, and mine took no more than 10 minutes. The sandwich came out hot and toasty -- the sourdough was buttery and crisp, which I loved. Definitely planning to come back to try the burger and the beef‑fat fries. For meats, they carry beautiful steaks, pollo asado, and carne asada. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality looks worth it. I'd absolutely come here for steaks for a special occasion.

Siesel's Meats is the original location if you love going to Iowa Farms in Mission Valley. These…read moretwo locations will be our go to for getting high quality butchered meats. We typically go to Iowa Farms since it's close to us and we're familiar with the location. We love getting the potato salad and bbq baked beans (prepackaged) sides there when we stop in, but if you're not early on the weekend, they usually run out. So we decided since we'd be in the Bay Park area, we'll check out the original location, Siesel's. Glad we did! I wanted to make a slow cooker brisket one weekend, so it was perfect. Siesel's is a bit larger than Iowa Farms and feels a bit more open. Same great cow awaiting outside the store. But they have a whole deli counter with all the sides plus more! They didn't have any ready made prepackaged bbq baked beans, it was better, made fresh daily and we were able to get as much as we wanted at the deli counter. They also have several different Siesel's signature potato salads and pasta salads that aren't offered prepackaged at Iowa farms, which I absolutely love! My favs are the Asiago pasta and deviled egg potato salad. We also decided to try their Tri-tip sandwich made to order at the deli and it was delicious! Fluffy bun piled high with Tri-tip covered in bbq sauce and have the option to add cheese and anything else. Love it! Staff is always very helpful. Parking lot can get full on the weekends, and they can run out of the pre-prepared meats in the front counter, but make sure to ask if there's any more in the back or they may be able to prepare some for you! We'll definitely be back! Until next time! :) Simply the best! Series: 17 2026: 34

It sounded good but we also weren't really feeling like going "out" and something that could be delivered or that we could pick up seemed like the better play. All the typical poke places showed up when we searched but none of them really sold us. Well, good thing I remembered that Valley Farm's poke game is strong... really strong. Believe me, I know that those of you who don't know Valley Farm will likely say "really?" when I detail that this sleepy little Spring Valley market kicks out poke as good as anywhere else in SD, but it's true. It's a sleeper of a choice but the quality and price will make you a fan, trust me.

It just tasted like salmon coated in some kind of sesame oil. I still ate it with snacking seaweed but I would not buy again. -Hatch chile Caesar wrap, I liked that the wrap was soft and not soggy. Chicken was grilled and diced, lettuce was crunchy and hatch chile tasted grilled and notably cold, came with Caesar dressing on the side. There was nothing wrong with the ingredients but together it just made a very underwhelming wrap, I didn't really taste any flavor from the wrap even with the help of the dressing. I also would not buy again. Ambiance 5/5 -They had a lot of ready-to-eat food options, both hot and cold. Even though I didn't like what I got this time, I'm open to come back and try other things they have.

They earn three stars solely for the quality of their products…read more I've been here a handful of times and I don't mind the prices. I believe you get what you pay for. I spent $400 here just the other day and even received a follow up email asking about the service. What I do mind is the consistently unfriendly, borderline rude staff. Every visit feels rushed, as if the goal is simply to complete the transaction and move you out the door as quickly as possible. I'm not political, and I have no interest in political commentary from a business where I pay a premium for steaks, regardless of whether it comes from social media or AI generated content. Especially at a time when it is difficult to escape the political divide, this is unnecessary for a business of this type. There are plenty of other ways to be catchy, quirky, and funny without going down that path. I also know for a fact that I can find equal quality meat online, potentially for less money, without the poor customer experience. For those reasons, I will not be shopping here again. Happy New Year, everyone.

I usually come for the large individual cuts. I used to come here once a month, once every other month but their prices have soared a bit. You used to be able to get a Japanese A5 wagyu ribeye for $100-$125. Now they're around $179-$200. That doesn't matter though because the quality and service are consistent. 5/5 stars. The venue could use improvement. It's definitely connected to their warehouse so it lacks warmth. Imo this place could use a more executive, established vibe, sort of like The Butchery at One Paseo or Iowa meat farms down the street. I will say that the quality of beef at the Meatery is far superior to the inflated prices, average quality, zero friendly Iowa meat farms. It's a decent spot, come support local business so they can expand!
