He did his thing, we had a chat, seemed like a nice guy, said he couldn't give me a quote immediately as his laptop was dead. Fair enough. Told me to expect it either over the weekend or on the Monday. No quote was forthcoming. I followed up 3 times over the next few weeks to try and get the quote. Finally, to give one last opportunity before I wrote a review, I called 2 weeks ago and was told the technician would call me back that day. Not surprisingly I heard nothing. I can only assume that the tech is assuming this job isn't worth his time as he'll make more elsewhere. Really wanted it to work out with these guys. I know a couple of guys who know the owner/manager and they have alot of good things to say about him. Unfortunately I can't even get a quote.

We had a new HVAC system and furnace installed in our split-level home between late January and…read moreearly March. Initially, Alex appeared knowledgeable and invested a great deal of time and effort into the installation, which we appreciated. However, we have experienced ongoing issues that have not been resolved. Our home naturally has temperature differences between the basement and upper levels, and while the heating function managed this reasonably well in colder weather, the air conditioning has not. There is now roughly a 10-degree temperature difference between floors, with the lower level significantly colder than the upper level. Despite installing a two-zone system setup, the layout does not appear to be functioning properly for our home. In addition, we reported a noise issue early on. Alex recommended special air vents to resolve it, but these were never ordered or provided. We also purchased a maintenance agreement that includes two yearly service visits. Starting March 3, we made repeated attempts--over 30 phone calls, 30 text messages, and several emails--to schedule our spring service and address these concerns. We have not received a single response. At this point, we are extremely frustrated and concerned. The system does not appear to be properly completed or functioning as intended, and the complete lack of communication is unacceptable. We are left questioning whether Alex has the expertise to finish the job or stands behind the work that was performed. Replaced my AC unit a few years ago, has been non-stop issues since, first a duct was leaking a ton…read moreof air, they Jerry rigged the junction box. Have gone through several issues, with capacitors going out, and low freon. I had them add a multi-zone system and while they did add a separate zone for the 3rd floor and the second floor, they didn't put a damper on th return lines, so the second floor was pulling much hotter air from the 3rd floor and taking FOREVER to cool and was running 19-20 hours a day. And while I will say the first few times he came right out and fixed the issue. Well a few weeks ago(hottest day of the year this far AC went out again, called, left VM, texted, no-response. Today was the kicker, even though the unit was new it never seemed to cool quickly, undersized maybe? Poor insulation in the house? Nope, while doing some blow in attic insulation I discovered one of the main 12" supply lines was TOTALLY disconnected and had been for awhile, not only was it busy cooling the attic, it had blown ALL the insulation away from the ceiling of the master bedroom in an area about 6ftx3ft. So for the last several years Ive spent $100s of dollars heating and cooling my attic. Tried to contact him... Crickets.

I remind you, that I did not buy the equipment or have the install done by Tower Heating and Air, as I live about an hour away, but Reggie still took the time out of his incredibly busy morning to help me out. It is hard to find customer service like this these days, but Tower Heating & Air provides just that. They have gained a customer in me moving forward, as I will be contacting them about a new water heater in the very near future. Started calling places but no one could come out for several days. Quality Comfort said they could be here in 2 hours and they were! Turned out to be a frozen condensate line (you'll remember it was 19 degrees last Christmas morning). Andrew also adjusted other issues that were out of spec (e.g. gas pressure) and spent about an hour going over the system. Total cost to come out on Christmas day? $279 which i think is a bargain.

I've had multiple experiences with this company over the last 4+ years. It started off well, until…read morethe problems started adding up. A whole new HVAC unit was installed in my attic by this company, they stepped off the rafters and put a hole in my ceiling. Okay, no big deal, but they fought us and tried to blame us for the hole. They ended up fixing it- thanks. Issue after issue with this NEW system. Replaced the mother board, flushed the system multiple times ($$$!!!) and nothing fixed it. Got a new company out- and they quickly assessed the problem- the thermostat wasn't talking to the system, so a $200 fix and the system is working. Next issue a bit later, the system stops working again. Come to find out there was never a secondary drain shut off installed, a new drip pan was not installed, it was caulked where there were cracks!! So as it filled with water, water leaked down two stories to the main floor and we have water issues on the main floor. They also didnt install the only PVC drain properly. They propped it up so it was higher than the lowest point so water would never drain out of it anyways. ABS has royally screwed us over. I will never work with them again. I highly recommend you think twice before you do, as well.

His diagnosis was that candles were being burnt but he said if the problem continues call me and I will send a tech to look at the coil. Today they sent Norm to check the coil and to determine why the filters are turning black. The coil is squeaky clean and the theory is that they are still burning candles, have verified that candle burning is still going on. The recommendation is to clean ducts next spring or sooner if the problem persists. Good job done by a friendly tech, my only quibble was that the lady on the phone told me the tech would be there between 9 and 9:30 and she had actually allocated me in a four hour window between 9 and 1.
