It was my first visit to Oggi, and I will definitely be returning. I have long thick wavy hair which can be intimidating, but Nikki got straight down to business assessing my needs, looking at photos, and making some genius suggestions for my new style. She was extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. She made me feel welcome, but also focused on the job at hand, which I appreciated. The interior of the salon itself isn't that memorable, apart from the separate coat room which is a plus. (The receptionist will instruct you to hang your coat and select a frock to adorn during your session - a nice touch in the winter when you're wearing a zillion layers!) There's lot of parking available in the back. And the salon is right next to Starbucks - great location for caffeinoids like myself. The cut itself is what impressed me the most. The waiting area is very clean. Erica was my stylist. She gave me advice as to what to color, what color to try, etc. She was so friendly, nice, and clearly very skilled...I was in and out in probably an hour and a half. While I waited for my hair to color, they offered me a glass of wine. I am so happy with the results! Partial highlights cost me $60 (it's normally $80 but I had a Yelp coupon). A blow dry afterwards costs $30, according to the receptionist.

I do appreciate that the owner was always willing to make things right, which says a lot about their commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, I reached a point where I couldn't continue trusting that I would leave happy. My biggest frustration was with the lack of professional accountability from some stylists. If a result doesn't look good, it should be acknowledged and addressed rather than pretending everything is fine. Consistency and honesty are just as important as talent, and that's ultimately why I decided to go elsewhere.
