I have adjusted my exercise routine to what he recommended and have not had any issues since. Dr. Previte is kind, extremely thorough in explaining every detail and answering all of your questions. When visiting with him, he always makes you feel you can spend as much time as you need. His staff is very good as well, making me feel welcome and comfortable to see them and fitting me right in. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Previte. As a matter of fact, I am calling him first thing in the morning to see if he can see my other daughter right away. She broke her humerus in soccer this weekend and we went to Scripps urgent care who was very good and thought she would need surgery, so they sent us to Children's Emergency Dept with the opinion that they would get the on call pediatric orthopedist to do surgery right then. Children's did the same routine of a new patient, having to take their own X-rays, and the ED doctor called the ped ortho on the phone who said no surgery and sent us home. So I got two different opinions from two respected organizations on the same day. My mind will finally be settled when I get Dr. Previte's opinion and I know from experience to trust the one I get from him.

After no relief from an injection into the joint and a separate injection into the tenden lower of my thumb, I was desparate for some pain relief. I went to Patrick for some shock wave treatements, and after 6 treatments I was pretty much pain free. Shock wave treatment may not work on all pain situations, but it worked for me. She responded by saying I "shouldn't have been seen in November because they didn't get paid." However, I have the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing that the claim was paid. I expressed my concern that this was an urgent care facility and that I was being refused care. I was simply told that I could not be seen there. The entire interaction was disappointing. I found the staff to be rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to communicate respectfully or resolve what appeared to be a misunderstanding. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this facility to others. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location based on my experience.

i had total knee replacement on my right knee with this doctor…read more he is rude and discriminates patients. i was on workman's comp at that time. i was referred to him by my attorney and he was reluctant to accept me. he was dictating to his medical assistant and when he said my age he said in front of my face "old woman". i was 63 years old. i only had the total knee replacement on my right knee. he told me the left knee will be follow whrn the left knee heals. on my third post op appointment with him i asked about total knee replacement on my left knee. when he can schedule the operation. he said me in a loud angry voice " i cannot help you anymore" and he closed my chart in the computer angrily in front of his new medical assistant. on his way out of the room, he glared at me like telling me " get out of here" i cried when he left the room because i was hurt with his attitude towards me. years past after the total lnee replacement on my right knee and i still cannot forget how this doctor discriminated me and his face still haunts me with the glare in his eyes and in an angry loud voice saying " i cannot help you anymore" closing my chart with anger. i was a patient of him in San Diego.

I'd had nothing but great care with SDSM for previous issues but it was not the case in 2023. Dr. Chang who I met with is not who I scheduled my appointment with. It was switched without my approval and he had zero idea why I was in the office that day. He also barely cared to find out. He sent me down the hall to get x-rays and when I returned to the office as did he I was even less thrilled with his bedside manner. He told me I had options but I had to ask what those options were. One of the options he gave to me was for me to do nothing as if that made any sense. I would give one star but the front desk was very personable and helpful and I appreciate that especially after the disappointing experience.
