He really understands the geriatric population and knows their special needs. My first impression when entering the office was not good. The receptionist looked like he just…read morerolled out of bed and not at all like a professional in a doctors office. The sub par trend continued when I met Dr Allen. He seamed uninterested and mostly annoyed that he was talking with me. After asking only a few questions he ordered a blood and urine test, which I did. I was told I would hear back from them with the results in 3-5 days. After 7 days and not hearing from them I called them only to get a voice mail box to leave a message. The next day I get a call back to say they used the wrong form to send the test in and they have to redo it can I come back. I was there in 2 hours to see the same sloppy guy behind the counter. I was told to go pee in a cup again. This time when I put the cup back in receptacle, there was another patients full cup still in there waiting to be received. GROSS. Once again a week and half later I have not heard from them. I called and was forced to leave a message again, two days has gone by and I still have not heard back from them. I am unimpressed, and have no confidence in the doctor or his staff. I will not be going back nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

It is rare I will even visit a physician who is under 35 years of ago, Ryan Grover is a no hesitation guy. As a young adult I trained under great psychology and psychotherapy people in Palo Alto CA. Later I went thru a 3 year training under a psychiatrist who ran the USA gov't reasearch using psychedelic drugs to treat schizophrenics and alcoholics. That was made illegal so it was shut down. Oopps, now they started that up again because 50 years later they figured out those drugs are useful tools we cannot afford to discard. At CA protons where Ryan used to work Carl Rossi prescribed Lupron treatment for me. I made the biggest mistake of my life listening to Rossi (at this moment I am keeping this civil regarding Rossi. I may have permanent brain damage from Rossi. It has been known for a long time that Lupron can cause brain damage. Rossi, forgot to mention that. What does that make him? RELUCTANTLY, I NEED TO WARN THE PUBLIC ABOUT THIS DOCTOR. Read his negative reviews and especially his history. He was disciplined by the medical board and put on 5 years probation a very heavy penalty. At his penalty hearing. He said that his prior mistake had made him a better doctor. I STRONGLY DISAGREE. I saw him for one month and he made very serious malpractice level mistakes in my care. He prescribed and pushed antibiotics for a virus.. That's why we have MRSA... because of the inappropriate over prescription of antibiotics. He recommended even pushed for me to increase a thyroid medication. When it turns out I didn't need it in the first place. He had refused to do the thyroid test that would have showed him. I didn't need it. He completely mismanaged my care for daily disabling long covid headaches. And don't get me started about his office manager. She is abrupt, arrogant and rude, less than competent, and like the incompetent doctor she works for. She thinks she knows better for the patient than the patient knows.

Unfortunately, the Board decided not to discipline him, but instead, said he would be sent an "educational letter" to encourage him to provide the highest level of professional care. I warned the Medical Board that if they did not discipline him, other patients would be harmed. They didn't listen. However, a few years later, Kingsbury was caught up in what was called the Medical Board's Death Certificate Project, an investigation of people who had died from prescription overdoses. According to Board documents, Kingsbury prescribed more than 400 vicodin pills to a patient in a six week period, which resulted in an overdose. I attended a Medical Board hearing in which Kingsbury tried to blame the patient for being manipulative. That argument apparently didn't work. In March of 2020, Kingsbury was given 35 months probation after being found responsible for the patient's death. He is fantastic at hearing his patients and really taking the time to get to know them. He has always spent a lot of time with me, so I haven't experienced the rush that other patients have. He's careful to prescribe the right course of treatment for the individual. For example, he has had cultures run by nearby labs to ensure that he assigns an appropriate and effective antibiotic instead of just defaulting to a generic, powerful antibiotic. This is responsible and careful medicine at it's best. Most importantly to me, Dr. D offers his patients a mind, body, spirit approach. He knows that all things are connected and helps to coach people to health rather than lure them back for more medicine. He's provided me with the courage and tools to take on difficult lifestyle changes without making me feel judged. He looks at the long-term solution for his patients, not just a quick fix.
