Sorry- won't do the test... they play off obvious signs of life threatening illness and tell you to make an appointment for out patient care. THEN they can address it. I pray none of you experience what I did and end up losing your mom; your best friend or otherwise like I did.

My husband wanted to take me to the doctor to get seen because I haven't been feeling well for the past couple of days. We got there at 10:00 am and I expected a long wait in the waiting room. I updated paperwork with my new married name and turned it in to the front desk. The front desk obviously did not update my information because I was continuously called by my maiden name, which caused confusion. I told the nurse that my name should be updated now according to my insurance. I did not get a response from her. Then when the doctor came in to take a look she kept saying "it is not Covid. I will test you for the flu. I can test you for covid but I do not recommend it cause it will come back negative." I trusted this doctors word. My husband was alarmed because I was showing symptoms of covid even though they are mild (thank the Lord) but we allowed the flu test. The tech came in to administer the flu test and then said it would be a couple of minutes. After 1 hour and 15 min I asked my husband to please check at the nurses station for the test and he came back saying the nurse was "working on it". No one came to check on us or tell us if we were next to have our test results done. I understand the healthcare system is very overloaded and I appreciate/respect all doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. However, we ended up waiting in that exam room for 2 hours without anyone coming to speak with us about my test. When I asked another nurse to please check I told her that they had my name wrong in the system so it could be my maiden name or my married name. The doctor came back into the room and responded "oh it's you." And darted back to find my test results. It ended up being that my results were just laying in a pile and no one had come to check on us. The doctor came back and said my flu test was negative but she did not recommend I have a covid test taken. We left very upset and went to another office called urgent MD and was treated within 30 min of being there and was out by another 20 min. It turns out I am positive for the covid virus. The bottom line is I trusted that doctor at this office to make a diagnosis and to help me get well. But because of miscommunication and no follow up I could have infected hundreds of people at my job, grocery store, and etc. The doctor was somewhat apologetic like I said but I feel as though I was not treated correctly because I did not have severe symptoms. However without proper treatment I could have really developed bad symptoms and also infected many people.

This establishment should not be your first choice. For starters, upon arrival, the two operating…read morethe front desk found it to be more paramount to discuss among one another about other employment opportunities that would pay them more than they're making here. When they were ready to acknowledge the presence of my friend, (whom I was there to morally support), She was asked for her ID, upon delivery of the requested document, She was rudely asked for her health card; Of course she complied. She was then left standing there for a moment as the staff resumed their conversation about seeking employment elsewhere. Once she was finally called in to see Mr. Nathan Boykin, It was immediately understood why they conducted themselves in such an inept, unethical, contemptible manner. Mr. Boykin has an extremely crass, and impolite way of practicing his profession. He made her feel like her questions in an attempt to understand her condition was inconvenient for him, and was a waste of his time. Being a patient in pain, and desperately seeking help from a caring professional left her in a worse situation than before she arrived. Patients need Care, and compassion. It's clear that the employees at this establishment are devoid of any characteristics associated with the general definition of "healthcare". They will all become ill one day, and as frustrated as I am at their behavior, and their lack of interest in pretending to care, I still wish them a better medicinal experience than they offered my family.

No intro, hello, or how are you , just asked "so youre 2 weeks pregnant?" I am 5 weeks pregnant…read more(currently) ah so your maintaining the pregnancy? I say yes. Then Immediately goes into discussion about drug abuse, drug addiction and drug classifications in a very aggressive way. Then tells me "So get your ADHD meds approval from your therapist, we will sign a contract and i will see you in 9 months when your baby is born with complications and youre not breastfeeding" i say well no i dont want to take the meds if its going to cause complications, thats what i was trying to ask and learn about. Then proceeds to continue going into drug abuse, drug addiction and how dangerous ADHD meds are etc. All very aggressive and targeted towards me. Then says "ill need to drug test you to give you the medication" i said okay thats fine. Then leaves and ends the appointment. Doesnt ask if I have any other questions, just leaves and does no other physical exam, questions about my health, any medical history, nothing. This is the correct order of operations by the way. All while im trying to be friendly and genuine and hes completely walled off and acting like im looking for adderall, when in fact i had no time to speak up and ask about other medications that were not Adderall or Ritalin. This appointment made me feel 100% dismissed, unheard, unseen physically and emotionally, and scared of doctors. I am having a baby, which is serious and i want to be taken serious. I also feel extremely uncomfortable with Dr Wallentines presence and as if he had no empathy or emotion during the visit and it was extremely forced. I immediately went into the truck in the parking lot and cried for 20-30 minutes, hyperventilating and having a panic attack. I realized how he didnt even check on me at all. Never asked how i was. Never did a physical exam, and only came in sat on his chair and treated me and talked to me like a drug addict. I had a long sleeve shirt and shorts on, so maybe he was thinking i was hiding marks on my arms. When really ive been having cold and hor flashes for weeks now and cant regulate my body temperature because im pregnant. On top of that i said several times i havent been to a doctor in 2-3 years. So i need to be seen. The nurse also almost forgot to ask if i was allergic to anything and I am. I told her i am 5 weeks pregnant, and i would like a normal check up and labs. And i also mention towards the end, I would also like to discuss ADHD medications with my doctor.

Their facility is new and very clean, maximizing efficiency without a lot of unnecessary posh that would drive up the cost of their patient care. I was greeted by two lovely young women at reception who were friendly and obviously there to ensure that the check in process was smooth and as quick as possible. It was only a few minutes to check in as a new patient and there wasn't an over abundance of unnecessary paperwork to contend with prior to being seen by a provider. They were more than happy to bill my insurance and explained to me in detail how their concierge service works in case a person would like to use their facilities as primary care. From check in until the nurse called me back to take my vitals it was only a couple of minutes and the nurse was very professional and caring. She listened to my concerns about the issue I was having and the amount of pain I had been having. My bp was low and she was happy to take it manually after the machine failed to read. I was put in an exam room that was very clean and comfortable with a very informative computer that had information to help patients maximize their general health and well being. After only a few minutes the doctor came in and he was wonderful. Dr. Marley was very obviously concerned about the problem I was having with a stone in my salivary duct and its failure to pass over the weekend. (He saw me in the ER at the MTF a few days previously for this issue by happy accident) He wanted to ensure that I was being treated as I should be but more than that he was worried that I would get the appropriate follow up care and referral, which can be difficult when it has to be routed through military medical due to my insurance. He made absolutely sure I wasn't going to have to endure the pain and problems that have been plaguing me with this issue any longer than absolutely necessary. The entire staff was courteous, thoughtful, and kind, and I felt like I was in good hands and well cared for. The fact that this doctor was very concerned that I receive prompt follow up was very above and beyond the call of duty and I cannot thank them all enough for the care I was given today. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Having now been seen for a ruptured Achilles' tendon and having both of my children receive care here I'm pleased to say that the care and respect I experienced on my first visit is consistently outstanding across the board. The three of us have been treated by different providers on each visit and happily they have all been top notch. The nursing and reception personnel are kind and friendly and very considerate. I can't say enough positive things about this clinic and the staff. I have and will continue to encourage anyone needing urgent care to choose this office.
