Excellent work! Ivan was able to accommodate 10 custum paddles and 10 custom plaques. We designed both in person. He worked diligently up to the last day due to issues on my end with getting the correct names from the selection of the awards. He even dropped them off to the venue at no additional charge. Not only does he create plaques but he makes amazing shadow boxes and other momentos which I have seen featured at a few retirements this summer. Amazing work, perfect for any military celebration. He worked within our event budget. He has a website but I highly recommend going in person to design your item. He sent proofs via email on days I could be there to look them over. I was so impressed that I am planning to design a few personal items. You can call and schedule and appointment or walk in. He offers a variety of military services including ribbon racks. So, this was my first time coming to this place and I needed ribbon rack because I do tons of retirement ceremony. I was immediately welcomed with a nice & friendly man named IVAN. He carefully explained the process while joking around with me (he is a marine, I am NAVY) lol his personality & customer service was outstanding. I put in the order at 10, it was done by the time I got off of work at 1400. They did exceptional work and made me feel like they appreciate my business. NO MORE NAVY EXCHANGE (although I love them too) but, I will be going straight to this store for all of my Needs. Atrocious service. Made the mistake of doing business with them three times. First time they mounted my medals with no issues. Return a few years later for an update and they lost them and strung me along for 6 months before I finally received them. Medallions on the medals were wrong and the number was off despite being given clear directions twice. Third time was my mistake. Decided to get them updated again. 6 months later they aren't updated nor in my possession despite delivery confirmation and numerous emails and phone calls. read more

Awesome little place located in an office in an old warehouse on industrial loop. They have a lot of hand made and original military memorabilia for retirements and what knot. We purchased the chest you see pictured on this page. It is a very nicely made wooden chest with a tray inside. We signed the inner part of the lid and put some books inside for a unique touch. The staff was extremely helpful in making suggestions when we asked for help and ideas. Super FAST turnaround time, too. The box comes with an engraved placard which you can personalize - we ordered it at 15:00 on Wednesday and picked it up the next day. The box was ~$130 with tax. I believe they make the thin ribbons and sew medals together for the NEX on base. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that has any need for military retirement gifts or medal services. Conveniently located in Orange Park, we have been able to switch completely from sending medals and ribbon racks off via mail to getting things done quickly or even same day here with the same quality. Incredibly disappointed with an experience trying to get three simple brass plates made for a custom plaque. The owner, Ivan, drug his feet for weeks with little to no progress being made on my order. He rarely returned calls and took days to get back to me in emails. Almost two months into trying to get these made, I sent him an email expressing my frustration only to be replied back with a sarcastic response. We used for Ivan for our paddles for a paddle about a year and it fine for simple paddles with nothing on them but a logo and a plaque despite the occasional mess up with misspelling but DO NOT go here for anything custom we put in 3 paddles and discussed if he could do them the way he requested and he said he could it I gave him a three month notice so I wouldn't worry about the time and payed him up front considering covid I thought it would help him not only was he a month late and got all the paddles completely wrong but when I tried to explain to him the issues I was yelled and cursed at with no compensation will never go here again and would not recommend to anyone unless you want the most simple of things at which point just go to the NEX read more

First of all, I would like to thank these fine folks for their EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Second, I ordered flat ribbons (2 sets). I inadvertently selected "army" on one set and "navy" on the other. In addition to that faux paux, I left the "pick up in store" box......this is where the EXTREMELY amazing customer service comes in. Bright and early the following business day, I get a call confirming my order, during that conversation, the lady discussed the errors on the online order and I was a little frustrated because I had made mistakes. Needless to say, a few days later as they were processing the order, I got another call where the nice lady helped me out, fixed all of the damage I myself had done and caused and she was so courteous and willing to work with me because the ribbons needed to be shipped not picked up in store....as I failed to indicate. She fixed everything, and I got my ribbons....even with my bone head mistakes all within a week of being ordered. Medal Medic is amazing, provides amazing customer service and an EXCEPTIONAL product. Sent in husband's medals (retired Navy EOD Diver) to be mounted on Feb. 18, 2020. March 3, got a call for payment, and paid. Called the FL location on March 16 to inquire about said medals. Person answering phone with heavy accent advised did not know, would check. When asked for his name, he wouldn't give it, stating, "You might call the police". NOT professional AT ALL. Finally got the name "Justin". No return call by March 17, so called 3 times, to no answer. Called the VA location, they took a message. Called back the FL location that afternoon, got the heavy accent person, and found that his name was IVAN-the OWNER- and he was "joking". Not funny to scare TWO retired veterans in regards to MEDALS. Poor workmanship to boot- start were NOT anywhere near centered. Sloppy work. read more
