I started with United Health Care back in January and learned about my coverage in March; and it was only provided to me after I had emailed the case manager a couple of times. I am saying this because since March I have tried to find local providers to assist me with my vision and dental needs and was vastly unsuccessful. It was not until today that I called and got Ms. Tameko that my faith in humanity has been restored. Ms. Tameko was not only professional, attentive, proactive and courteous, but she actually called several providers for me as I would call, and no one would answer for me. Ms. Tameko searched providers in my area and stayed on the phone with me if in the event the provider could not accept my insurance and or if they did not have availability. I always say it cost you nothing to be kind to someone ... and Ms. Tameko proved that today beyond any doubt!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I am still smiling, thank you for being kind! Instead of offering a more efficient verification method (such as email or a direct call), I was required to go through a chatbot just to reach a live agent. The response times were extremely slow, which added to the frustration. After providing all requested information, I was transferred to another agent who then asked me to repeat the same questions all over again. Overall, the experience felt inefficient, repetitive, and a poor use of time for what should have been a quick update.
