I went here about two weeks ago to take a drug test. The company that I took the drug test for told me that they messaged the company and I have the email receipt saying they lost my urinalysis sample. The sad part is they didn't even reach out to me to even tell me that I had to learn from the company that I'm trying to get a job with about the situation happening I highly recommend going somewhere else read more

I didn't even read any of the other reviews yet but I do see it has 2 stars. I'm not sure if it's the day of the week or time that the other reviewers went in but I didn't really have any issues. I found MedExpress on a Facebook post. The appointment was for my daughter so I'm reviewing as a parent. I made an appointment online my only issue with that is that I never got a confirmation email or text but that wasn't major. We walked in and were greeted immediately we were told to have a seat because they were checking in someone. Waited a few minutes for that after checking in we waited maybe 2 minutes to see triage the nurse was nice she did my daughter's vitals and swabbed her for her test and took us into the room to wait for the results and the nurse practitioner. We waited in the room maybe 20 minutes and the nurse practitioner came in she explained everything and answered all our questions. By the way this appointment was on a Wednesday afternoon if that helps. read more

They SCAMMED me! Ask for an itemized receipt that says PAID. They told me $40 for a physical, so I paid for a terrible experience including extremely rude staff and an excessive wait. A few days later I get a bill for an additional $57!!!?? They more than double charged me, And if you're naïve or stubborn and don't pay it it'll go on your credit for seven years and could potentially ruin your life. Making it difficult to get a house, apartment, car etc and support your family. Playing with peoples money and stealing is quite serious, these people are disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves. I was referred to this place for a pre-employment drug screening. I attempted to come 12-12-23, when I called the confirm my order and to come in they told me the cut off time was 6pm. I was advised to schedule an appointment to avoid a wait. I schedule the following day for 10am. The staff member did not call me back until 10:50am. Unfortunately, I used the restroom a few minutes earlier. I explained this to the staff and apparently she ignore everything I said and advised me that I have 4mins to complete the test. I then repeated myself again. I have an issue with medical teams not listening to patients. If you are directed to this location please request another. read more

Today my husband And I visited urgent care as I recommended it based on my first experience. I noticed that the receptionist was a little unprofessional and a bit crass during my first visit but I adjusted because everyone (nurses and doctors) else was very pleasant and nice. I have had similar experiences since using this location. The rest of the staff is very nice but the receptionist has the same attitude. I thought she may have just been having a bad day. I alerted the staff and was told that they are going to address it. I definitely would recommend this location, it's just a shame that the first person you meet is not very friendly especially when you don't feel well. read more

All I will say is the NP I saw this evening asked me why did I want to know what type of virus I may have, as if it's something was wrong for wanting to know what's going on with my body. The entire conversation with the provider was just weird, I just don't have the words. I have been here a few times with my children and for myself, but nothing ever like today. It was almost like I was in a heated conversation with her, just wanted to know why I was sick and to feel better. The name of this urgent care doesn't fit with their service. The staff is so unorganized with scheduling. I got to this location at around 2:25 but I was told that my appointment is at 3:45 so I went and got me some food. Now I'm back here and I have been waiting for 30 minutes! I heard one patient was saying that he had been waiting for a long time and was told to just comeback because they have to take their breaks! Receptionist is very very rude sounds like she hates her job. Didn't have an appointment 'cause I just needed a drug testing for work sat in my car for over an hour. When I first went inside she was asking me about paperwork and I told her I only had an email because that's what they sent me she wasn't pleased with that, asking me why I didn't have paperwork. I scanned their QR code and went to my car to wait put in all my information and then got a text message 10 minutes later that they couldn't reach me by my phone number that I entered which was correct. It was the same receptionist and she was very rude toned when telling me that I " didn't answer the phone" when she never called me in the first place because she read me back my number and it was correct. I was looking for my Social Security number and she proceeded to keep asking me what it was I finally had to say I'm looking for it could you just give me a minute and she was not pleased by that. Continued on to say that I couldn't have anything done unless I gave her my Social Security number and did I understand that. I did I just needed a minute to find it. The nurse who did the testing was very nice but it's an automatic fail if you don't produce enough urine to pass the line. They give you a tiny water bottle 8 ounces ever 20 minutes ( max of 5 bottles) over a three hour time period. She did tell me that it was an automatic fail /refusal to test but I've never been to a place where it was before, for not even using drugs just not being able to pee enough. I also don't understand why it was marked as a refusal because I did test two times I just couldn't completely pass the line, I've now lost out on a job and can't reapply for six months all because I couldn't pee enough. If I could give it no stars I would. How can a person be expected to pee in a cup when they had you so upset from the get go being rude to you. Treat people the way they want to be treated. Will tell everyone to avoid this place at all costs. Getting a automatic fail/refusal can really cause damage to someone, especially if they aren't using drugs. In the note sent to my employer, it said I refused and than left, which I didn't. I did the test twice therefore did not refuse, I only left after being told it wasn't enough even though I was right under the line. read more

I don't know why MedExpress Urgent Care offers preemployment screenings to employers. I showed up early (an hour after they opened) and was told there would be a wait, but that it wouldn't be too long. I ended up waiting in my car for over 2 hours, and by then I had to use the bathroom and couldn't wait any longer. I spoke to the receptionist who then preceded to tell me that it was still going to be awhile longer... I still haven't been seen. I understand COVID has complicated things and everybody's working as hard as they can, but employers please opt for another way & do not send your employees here for screening. Instead of waiting at patient first I came on down the road to MedExpress. Was seen promptly doctor and nurses were friendly not one issue and I was in and out quickly. I would go back without hesitation. If you have a minor issue it's worth a drive by to see if site will fit your needs. She is very lazy and quite frankly uninterested in helping anyone get better. They will refer you to the hospital for the smallest things that are within their scope. This week I came back with 7 ahead and sat for 2.5hrs while they handled 5 patients. I had to speak up to get the front desk assistant's attention, as she was too busy on her phone to notice that I was standing there. My Husaband and I had a good experience with MedExpress Urgent Care on Waldorf, MD. All the staff were nice, from the frontdesk, nurse and doctor. Called them to inquire, since this will be our first time going to any Medexpress Facility, the frondesk staff were very helpful, eventually we did all the paper works over the phone. Them considering that im pregant, we waited on our car for my safety and called us for our turn. We were actually called on time on our appointment. The nurse explained well to us the procedure. The doctor came in also with a big smile and positive vibe! They even called us for the result in timely manner. The facility itself is pleasantly nice and clean. read more

I was sent to MedExpress in Waldorf by an agency to have an employment physical and TB spot test on 10/30/2020. I called MedExpress the previous day to see if I needed to come at a certain time. I was told by the staff member that answered the phone that I should come by 3pm to get the spot test done. I was also told to bring my EPassport. So, on 10/30 I called Med Express again to see if I could come without my EPassport and physical form because I wanted to make sure I got there in time. I was then told by another staff member that I can come anytime. So, I went to my house to grab the paperwork and still was able to be checked in at 3 pm. I waited in the parking lot until 5:30 pm. I was then told that I could not get my spot Test done because the blood draws had already been sent out. I was told although I arrived at 3 I missed my time to get blood drawn because of the fact there were so many ahead of me. I was then informed to come Saturday at 8 am. My gut instinct told me to call before coming, I was then informed that there were no blood draws done on weekends and to come back Monday. This was a huge inconvenience to me, and help up the process of my being approved to start working which is a HUGE deal. I spoke with the many and she said that she would re-educate her staff. However, she did say that there is no way to guarantee a contractor that they would be able to have blood drawn if there is a great number of people waiting. If this is the case, then MedExpress should not be performing pre employment screening that need TB testing. read more

They were bitter, condescending, "knew it all" but didn't even know what was being advertised for the month of July (on July 8th), and made me question whether the convenience this office was worth the attitude of this particular staff member. I came here for a stretched muscle. I arrived around 830 and didn't have a wait. Everyone here is super helpful, caring and gave wonderful treatment. The physician that saw me was Dr. Hussein and she was absolutely wonderful! From taking the time to hear my concerns to providing sound advice to what I should do to treat my injury. I was out within 2 hours which I dont think was an issue considering how well and thorough my treatment was. Also, if you're a military family on the US Family John's Hopkins plan, they do accept that as well. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to be seen for a non emergency situation. read more

The young lady at the front desk, Snee was very inviting, friendly and professional. She smiled and made casual conversation during the check-in process. The office was very clean and spacious. I waited less than 30 mins. to be called to the back and about 15 mins. to see the doctor. Danielle was also very friendly and empathetic while asking about my symptoms. The only reason I did not rate a 5 was because the doctor did not pinpoint a exact problem and advised me to go to the hospital if my pain got worse. If that was the case, I would have went there first! I would not go back if my pain level was very high, especially since they only have one doctor. read more
