It would've been nice to know they stopped taking my insurance before making the 30 minute drive there.

Thinking she can tell a paying patient what she can and can't do like speak to a doctor, like she is someone. Went there for kidney pain was in an empty waiting room for an hour finally decided to go piss after sitting an waiting ,not being told if they would need a sample or not. They then call me Back no greeting , no hey why are you in, how you feel... no just a her big back self handing a piss cup an telling me to go piss i simply tried to explain that i literally just pissed cause no one told me they were gonna need it. I asked could i just wait for the doctor then I'll try before my visit is over, she said an I quote with a nasty attitude " well you did come in for kidney pain right" I said yes but you could have let me know yall would need a sample. I decided okay , im the patient but I'll let her talk to me any type of way ... so I go into the bathroom all for it to smell like straight up fish , not to mention messy an the toilet wouldn't flush , so I come out to tell her it wouldn't flush I'll just wait for the doctor , she then with her same nasty ass attitude try's to correct me " it does flush you just wasn't doing it right" . I then said whatever I just wanna talk to the doctor at this point. Couple mins past she come in with her stank ass attitude still , I said I'm done speaking to you get out my room thanks , she mumbled something under her double chin , then told the other RN that she couldn't take this an something along the lines of get fired I believe. Within 2 or 3 minutes the ER Dr. was examining him and immediately took him back for treatment. This Doctor was so kind and worked rapidly to get Jim stabilized. After several tests, the last being an MRI, we learned he had suffered with a mini stroke. That first day was a long one and he had a 2nd episode while being treated by a wonderful nurse, Teresa Wilkes. She stayed with him for several hours and got him through a rough time and continued to care for him on Sunday. He has back problems and she had a recliner brought in for him. That made him so much more comfortable. On Monday, 2 different nurses took care of him - Eliza Sanspury & Ashley Birkett. They were wonderful caring nurses as well. Very cheery and efficient. We were also impressed with Dr. Wang. He spent a lot of time with us explaining what had happened to Jim and helped us understand what the best treatment plan was for him. The entire experience for that 3 days was wonderful. We felt that we got the best possible CARE at this Hospital!

Despite this medical emergency occurring before any actual visit, we were charged for the encounter. When I initially contacted the location, Prisma on Tiger Blvd., I was told that "they did some stuff on him," which did not align with what occurred. I was also told their manager said we were not entitled to a refund. After numerous attempts to speak with someone within Prisma, I was finally contacted by Patience Boyd, who informed me that she had reviewed the video footage of the incident. She confirmed that a refund was warranted. That conversation took place on January 30th, and I have yet to receive the refund or any follow-up communication. I have called Patience again to inquire about the status, but I still have not received any response. This situation has been extremely disappointing. I should not have to make repeated calls or navigate multiple departments to receive a refund that Prisma has already acknowledged is due. Given the seriousness of the circumstances, this should have been handled promptly and proactively. Please confirm that the refund is being processed immediately, along with a clear timeline for when it will be completed. If additional information is needed from me, I expect to be contacted without further delay.

Right now with flue cases through the roof, an appointment is highly recommended, but walking in is still possible. I took my wife by yesterday at about 1:00. They took her in after about 10 minutes of waiting. She mentioned that I was not feeling well and the nurse came out and got me to go back with her. The doctor treated us both... Super nice doctor, very thorough and personable - the same is true of the nurse. We both felt like they went beyond the call of duty. They send prescriptions into our pharmacy in Pendelton. Later we found that the pharmacy was out of several of the medications an it would be maybe 4 days before they were back in stock. We called AnMed and they spent a lot of time looking for the meds, they also offered to write me prescriptions that I could take around to any pharmacy. I spent about 2 hours calling and found one with both meds that we needed. (It's scary how quickly we can run out of meds when a large number of people get the flu.) I drove over to AnMed and the nurse met me in the waiting area with an envelop containing two prescriptions as well as a note to the pharmacy to call the doctor of there was any question. She also told the two ladies up front that if I called put me through to the doctor immediately so he could solve any problem. I got home around 9:00 with the meds and the wife is doing better today - thanks to the staff at AnMed going WAY BEYOND the call of duty for us.

She was not professional. She even went as far to call Security and tell them to have me removed if I didn't sit down I tried to explain to her that he was not awake and I needed to speak with the doctor to let him know what had happened. She told me what the paramedics were for. She was very rude obviously has no compassion and totally does not care about family or any concerns of the family she was very non-supportive very brazen and she needs to go back to school to learn how to speak to people and not fly off the handle herself this is the second awful experience. would not recommend it to anyone.
