Absolutely fantastic pharmacy! Honestly, the best pharmacy I have ever had, La Mesa, or anywhere else! I've been going there for many years, and they consistently provide top-quality service. Needed to find a new pharmacy for my little brother (he can't drive now) and I "suggested" he transfer over to Medical Arts. We did it on the phone... while he was still at his new Doctor's Office in El Cajon. I knew it really was a no-brainer, and sure glad he agreed. Best pharmacy I've ever had, I don't have issues with my meds being on time. Customer service is phenomenal they call me if I have any meds available for pick up. Only had one issue when I was missing a pill, I mentioned it to them and they said they counted back and there was no extra pills. But I did in fact had one missing so I just have to make sure I count with them before I leave. read more

I love this pharmacy they deliver . They well help you with anything you need and they know me by name. The delivery man is real sweet and he is very kind and is always cheerful and happy. I'm a real fan I love it when I can find a small pharmacy with all the big ones have but they're small. The country store. I look very the people at this pharmacy I don't drive and the medicine is that I don't want to be out of and they bubble wrap so my medicine packaged so I don't run out and I take it on time. read more

Medical arts pharmacy is my new pharmacy. The staff and pharmacists went out of their way to make sure my wife did it have issues with her prescription due to her health status and allergies. They even called the manufacturer and the cdc/ fda to see if the studies they had been recently completed had any contraindications. Wait time was short and location is easy to get to with a nice outside courtyard. Cannot say enough about the quality of service at this pharmacy. read more

Is there a way to give this pharmacy 10000 stars?? I'll just wait for that update, Yelp. Dr. Patel is SO accommodating and very helpful! Just transferred RX over to this place as a referral from a friend of mine. She was able to cut pre-cut my father's RX and it helps out alot! Vons was not able to do it and I thought that was just silly. We have been going to Vons since the beginning of time but I think it's time to switch over completely. Super friendly staff and I appreciate their time and hard work. They offer validation for parking as well which rocks! Thank you Dr. Patel and staff you guys are awesome! read more

Excellent pharmacy!! Always helpful and have many, many medications in stock. If it's not in stock, they will order it. If they can't get it, they will tell you who can. The staff is awesome. Ben is the shiz!! They even offer delivery to a large part of the county. read more

Had to fill a script at the pharmacy. Parking is horrendous and requires you to pay and I told the pharmacist I'm being charged by the minute so can you please get my script ready as soon as you can. The pharmacist's name is Norah Saunders and she proceeded to yell at me and said I'm busy, talk to the owner if you have an issue. She took over an hour to fill my medication. Never going back to this pharmacy again read more

OUTSTANDING customer support by all the staff. There are not many businesses left today that provide such personal and friendly service. Don't let the naysayers comments about parking scare you away. There are multiple spaces on the top deck dedicated to pharmacy customers and you are not charged for parking if within 15 minutes or if you get validation from the pharmacy. The owner, Printu, is exceptionally knowledgeable and will spend the time necessary to help whether working with you, your doctor or insurance adjustor. I have used several pharmacies during 16 years of daily pharmaceutical requirements and this place is far and away the best & most personal pharmacy I've experienced! And if that's not enough, if required, Jose will happily deliver your prescriptions right to your home. Simply AMAZING! read more

Used to be great, but now they can't even get a prescription filled that I've had for years. I had to call several times and took over a week. They did not understand the urgency when it comes to prescription medication. I am off my medication thanks to them and am barely able to function. When I called yet again with the urgency in which I needed it they practically laughed in my face. I really hate the new staff. read more

The entire staff at Med Arts Pharmacy is very helpful and worked really hard to fill all of my prescription needs. They were able to fill a medication for me that other pharmacies couldn't fill. They also worked with my insurance carrier to make sure it would be covered and took the burden off of myself. They are now my go to pharmacy, thank you all very much Med Arts you are the best. read more

Wow! They deliver. That is about.all I can tell you about this lousy pharmacy wanabee. First of all, the staff is rude and don't know what they are doing. Next, they deliver medications and forget others making it extremely inconvenient for anyone to stay home for days, waiting for all medications, and when it comes down to making a mistake. God help you. The pharmacist that currently works there (male) will tell you to f$&'l off in a second, and blame it on you... How is this tolerated???? I currently have no clue as to how they manage to mess up so much and get away with it. They expect people to go without medication for 3 weeks because they are on back order? I don't think so good by medical arts. See you in mediation through the BBB. read more

This used to be a great place. The staff was helpful and if you needed medications that were not in stock, they would order it and have it arrive within a day. Now the staff seems very apathetic towards patients as well as the fact that it takes them much more than a day to order out of stock medication, if they are willing to do it at all. The best you can hope for is that they will just tell you when they are going to make their order. So if you think you may have a tricky one, I would definitely go somewhere else. read more

I've been a registered pharmacist since 2006, graduated from UCLA and obtained my PharmD from Western University of Health Sciences. I had worked for a large pharmacy chain for over 13 years and managed over 15 locations and 165 pharmacy employees before I decided to open up my own pharmacy. I want to use my expertise to bring a more personalized experience for my patients and do what I am most passionate about- improving patient quality of life and health outcomes. One important tip: try your best to arrive before 2:45 PM--and honestly, even that may be cutting it close. On my most recent visit, I checked in around 2:40 PM and was informed that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me that day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, though, and they referred me to another nearby location. Unfortunately, when I arrived there, the line was even longer, and they were unable to fit me in as well. Despite that experience, I still prefer getting my labs done at this Walgreens because the process is usually quick and efficient. Check-in is simple, and when timing works out, I'm generally in and out without any hassle. A few helpful tips for first-time visitors..... -Bring your photo ID and insurance card. -If you have a lab requisition from your physician, bring it with you. -If your provider submitted the order electronically, they can typically pull it up in their system. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service. If you're in the area and need labs done, just plan to arrive early and you should have a smooth experience. As always, you can thank me later!

Let me start by saying that up until today I always terrific experiences here. They are Helpful, efficient, prompt and genuinely nice. Although I found the hours to be challenging for someone employed full time I made it work. Here's where the one star review comes from. The evening pharmacist. She works from 3:30-5:30 and is a complete whack job. Even the staff and full time pharmacist acknowledge that she's nuts and would roll their eyes behind her when she was talking. They even told me her schedule so as to avoid any encounters with her. Unfortunately I had to come one time on her shift and will regret that decision indefinitely. She could not dispense a CII Rx because they were all locked in a safe and when I explained that I had received a call saying my meds were ready to be picked up if fell on def ears. Once we were able to work through the locked meds issue she told me I could only pay with cash (which I'm convinced was for her pocket) and when I explained to her that I'd have to write a check or give my cc (which is how I paid ALL the other times before) she literally slammed the door in my face. I'm so disappointed that this happened because I now will no longer be using this pharmacy. If you do decide to go to this pharmacy be sure to go before she arrives at 3:30. Worst pharmacy ever and their techs soooo rude, the previous owner and staffs were so great people, unfortunately none of them left there.
