I came to Walgreens to have some lab work done, and overall, I've had consistently positive experiences at this location. One important tip: try your best to arrive before 2:45 PM--and honestly, even that may be cutting it close. On my most recent visit, I checked in around 2:40 PM and was informed that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me that day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, though, and they referred me to another nearby location. Unfortunately, when I arrived there, the line was even longer, and they were unable to fit me in as well. Despite that experience, I still prefer getting my labs done at this Walgreens because the process is usually quick and efficient. Check-in is simple, and when timing works out, I'm generally in and out without any hassle. A few helpful tips for first-time visitors..... -Bring your photo ID and insurance card. -If you have a lab requisition from your physician, bring it with you. -If your provider submitted the order electronically, they can typically pull it up in their system. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service. 3.5 rating I went here to get some shots for my out of country travel. I made an appointment and when I arrived I checked in with the code and stood in line. Apparently it didn't register after I submitted my info but that's okay, I still had to wait about 20 more minutes. I was there at least an hour after my appointment. I understand they were short staff but it would have been nice to not have to wait that long. I have to say though they were very nice to me and I was very patient. read more

RACISM at its finest brown and black stay away...Been a Walgreens member for over 10 years spent thousands of dollars never have I had an issue except today. I get to the register to purchase the stuff that I got and they automatically assume me of stealing a jersey I had on and walking in the store with I was shocked I couldn't believe that they're talking to me insulting me like that in front of all those customers and my kids. So I asked for them to get a manager and to please to view the cameras because you guys are wrong. I only came here to use Labcorp as a walk in. The store itself seemed stocked and organized. The floors and general vibe seemed less than clean. While waiting for a blood draw, I just thought I would've expected the store to look, feel, and smell cleaner than it was. Labcorp was great. As a walk in I waited about fifteen minutes and there were no issues. The staff was helpful and friendly and got me in and out in about five minutes once I got called back. There was a decent amount of parking. Be careful navigating the parking lot as there were a few people pulling out rather quickly and driving on the wrong side of the drive aisles. read more

I never write reviews, but I after what I experienced today at this Walgreen location I felt really bad for the customer that was in front of us.. so this young man was with his kids checking out and the manager and the employee automatically started being aggressive and disrespectful towards him, telling him that he stole the shirt that he was wearing when he clearly walked into the store with that shirt wearing it. The young man was begging the manager in the worker to please check the cameras and that you guys are wrong. I walked in here wearing this shirt . The manager and the worker both said we don't need to check no cameras we saw you steal that after a few minutes back-and-forth of them arguing . They finally go check the cameras come to find out. He never stole anything and they were wrong for assuming and accusing him of stealing . Here's the part that got me really upset . I usually never have a problem calling regarding my prescription but today September 18 @ 8:30pm it seems as if there is no working or they are really busy!!!!????? I've been on hold for 12 minutes... the line rings, and they immediately put me back on hold the first time. And then again it rings and whoever answered the phone immediately goes "please hold" .... I transferred my prescription from Rite Aid to Walgreens, and it seems like every time I talk to a pharmacist (whether it's over the phone or in person) it's an inconvenience to them to help me out. I hear sighs when I need help, or try to rush me off of the phone, which sucks when you really need their help. Today I was helped over the phone by Leen, and I could tell she was soo busy, but she was still so helpful and nice! Kindness goes a long way, and I really appreciated her patience. This pharmacy is horrible! Ive encountered so many errors that have taken hours on the phone to fix.The latest is that I called them to update insurance information by phone. Days later I went to pick up my script and was told my new insurance doesn't cover that medication. It's an often used medication. I confirmed my prescription coverage with them and they confirmed it's not covered. I contacted my insurance and they contacted Walgreens. It's funny to see that I am not the only one to have these issues with this particular pharmacy. This was the worst experience I've had with a pharmacy and it's a shame because my home Walgreens in Santee is so much better, but had to send a prescription to this location due to them being out of stock. I was told 2 different times that my daughter's antibiotic would be ready in 90min...these conversations were 2hrs apart. After the last 90min wait, they said her medication would be ready after 9pm, this was at 5:30pm. After some back and forth with the pharmacy, my husband finally was able to pick up her medication, only to be met with a very unprofessional pharmacist, who gave him such an attitude. To be in the medical field, let alone a Pharmacist, and to be treating customers like that is such a disgrace. Never sending prescriptions here again. read more

The lady at the register was rude. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager was worse than the employee. (I asked him his name, he refused to give it) I told him that his employee was rude, he looked me up and down and dismissed me with a sarcastic "have a nice day". That was his only response. I came back with the paperwork proof from the doctor and had to wait over an hour for them to give me the meds (they didn't even give me all the correct meds the first time, so I had to wait longer, with my head pounding and nowhere to sit). The worst Walgreens I've ever been to. If I hadn't been to other Walgreens, I don't think I'd ever step foot in a Walgreens again. Granted, this review is purely for their pharmacy. The rest of the store is fine. They have cancelled my prescriptions after notifying me they're ready to pick up. Orders that were supposed to be delivered never get delivered and no one knows why. Their lines are usually long and staff seem to have no clue about the most basic questions (when I request a syringe adapter, they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language). I'm getting stressed out just thinking of the many issues I've had with this store. I'm switching my prescriptions to CVS even though they don't have a drive thru and are further away. They have only one Pharmacist at this location who is there limited hours. It took hours for them to get an antibiotic ready. It took me days and four separate tries to finally get my prescription for diabetes medication filled. They got sullen when I refused to sign up to have my prescription automatically refilled there and asked for my credit card on file, which I never asked to be put on file, to be taken off. There are a few decent people working the pharmacy, but there are a large percentage that are incompetent and horrible. I won't be using this pharmacy again and I urge anyone else to look elsewhere to fill their prescriptions. Estrela was a life saver! We're flying in a few hours but forgot to get the travel containers for our liquids. Thankfully, this Walgreens location was open 24/7. We walked in and asked Estrela to guide us to the travel containers. She was so nice and helpful from the start. While we're browsing, she told us that their system just went down and thus they couldn't check us out. Since we desperately needed the travel containers, we asked to pay with cash so they could ring the items up later. Estrela asked her manager and got the approval. I've used this pharmacy for years. The last 6 months they've been horrible. Every prescription they say they Never received any prescriptions that were sent in. I went to pick up my prescription a couple days after it was sent in and they said first they never got it. Then when they realize they did get it, they said they didn't have it in stock. They said they would order it and it would be there the next day. So I went in two days later just to give extra time and they still say it was never ordered. They need to order it and it will be in the next day. I went in a third time was told the same thing while I was standing there . The pharmacy tech was on the phone and told two or three other people, the same exact thing she told me and have no qualms about it that's just apparently how it is. Also, another time I went to get my prescription that is a non-narcotic. I was told that they didn't have it ready because it's a controlled substance.
