Emergency was great and then I was admitted, it is not posted u are a prisoner and must stay on your floor or they will rip out your iv threaten u with the cops and have 2 security guards follow u to your car all while the nurse Olivia packed up my belongings like the nobody she is and kicked me out of the room... welp with a hr of 170 and blood dripping from my hand I was able to stay and get medical treatment lol I will never come back to this hospital for admit. And Olivia reads a reality check!!! At what point do u honestly think I'm going to allow u to tell me what I can and can't do. Don't talk down to your patients , we are here for a reason and it's not to be detained like a criminal This rule was created for Covid and it's not listed anywhere per the charge nurse!!! Ended up checking myself out due to it taken 8 hrs to get tums and nobody came to my room to check on my all day!!! This hospital is a joke and I will be contacting a lawyer!!! read more

My cardiologist requested me to go for a stress test YUK! Got my appointment made and went got there early and registered and checked in. The receptionist at registration desk was really a blessing and so polite as well as a great sense of humor made m e relax and needed it. Had to wait about 40 minutes but got there early. The tech came and got me and 7:55 am took me back and explained very well the 3 phase process. Forgot his name but he had the first and last phase. He put in my IV to add the chemicals needed for pictures took me back to waiting room with some water to allow the chemicals to start working to take pictures.​ took me back took pictures then off for phase 2 another room for stress test, this is where I met nurse tech Wendy and she explained the process she would be doing. Made me ready for all the feelings I would be experiencing so the test started once the cardiologist NP arrived the techs pushed the nuclear chemicals for tracing by computer and EKG, she stayed observant noticed my changes in breathing etc. also when done had caffeine and snack to help with the stomach feelings much appreciated then once she got me unhooked she took me back to the first room for the after pictures with the chemicals in me. All in all from the registration to the techs everything was super good well taken care of and well respected and treated well. Thank you to the lady at registration desk and the techs who did my stress test. Kudos to all and definitely 5 stars to you all. Never had a bad experience with this hospital facility. read more

Had to go all the way to Denton to get an MRI done today because the pathetic excuse for a hospital in Wichita Falls doesn't honor Humana Health Insurance. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever encountered in the hospital the MRI machine that they have must be 40 years old it is a noisiest piece of junk ever had to sit in there for 30 minutes, listening to god-awful noise while the MRI was going on in the top it off. I was stabbed four times by the nurse trying to get IV in me if it takes you four times to get IV put in somebody you shouldn't be doing that for a living you should be doing something else. I never experienced so much problems with person telling me my veins kept collapsing and the top it off I had to pay $500 upfront before they did anything I would advise anybody that needed to get an MRI done find someplace else cause this place was absolutely horrible. They should be ashamed that they're using a piece of junk machine like this MRI machine and torturing people for 30 and 40 Minutes with that god-awful noise. read more

my wife was referred to this location to get her first ever mammogram as she had concerns and her doctor told her to go get a mammogram. My wife went up to this filled out the necessary paperwork they and because she marked that she was worried that she lump. They said they cannot do the mammogram up there. My wife came home in tears as she said she didn't understand and that they smirked at her during their she special type of mammogram and cannot do it at this location or needed a specific referral. As a my wife cry as she just wanted somebody to help her is more than frustrating. If this is how this location conducts business, I pity anyone who goes up there looking for a professional medical code of conduct . read more

I would not recommend going to this emergency room for anything unless it is easily treated with pain meds because that is all you will get here. The doctors genuinely seem unconcerned about the patients who come through the ER. My experience was less than pleasant. Easy to schedule. Was taken back with no waiting. Well designed changing room with lockers. Staff was so very pleasant and gentle and the 3d imaging was not bad at all! I was in and out in 30 minutes total. I would highly recommend this place. I've been here before for an ultrasound in 2010 and a mammogram in 12 they were amazing then too! read more

I am giving Solis a 2 out of 5 Stars because now they are Billing through Medical City Denton and after asking me to overpay by $100 they never sent an Explanation of Benefits or Refund to my home. Months later I was researching the charge due the Radiologist and found the Hospitals mistake. When I called the Hospital to ask for my refund they acknowledged the money and stated they would send a request to review the account and refund me. I have gone to Solis yearly in Denton for more than 10 years. The only way I will go back is if I am not asked to prepay before service. This was an additional procedure not covered by ins which they requested. I was glad they did the procedure to rule out cancer, but if Medical City dooesn't have the technology to charge me correctly then I will wait to pay or go somewhere else. read more

I love Solis Mammography! I have had my mammograms completed here since I've been having them done. The staff is always so professional, courteous, and caring. The technicians walk you through each position ensuring a great "first take" so there are no re-dos. They explain everything fully and seek out any questions you might have. I'd highly recommend them to any women. read more

I had a great experience having my 3D mammogram. The staff are polite and efficient. It is worth the drive to get appropriate breast health screening. Unfortunately Gainesville does not offer this service and if you have dense breasts a traditional mammogram is useless. read more

I am extremely upset by the lack of respect this company has shown me. I am currently 24 and was interested in having my first mammogram. I spoke with someone to schedule my appointment, which included listing my age. I scheduled the appointment for the following week and requested to leave work early. Once I was checked in, I waited in the waiting area for an hour before being called to check insurance, etc. I did all of this just to find out that they refused to give me a mammogram without a written order from doctor since I am not yet 35. I am a grown woman. I have breasts. I have a job that provides health insurance. I have a right just like every other woman in that office to have a mammogram without going through extra hoops because I have a lower risk. At the very least TELL ME that I need a doctors note BEFORE I waste my time, inconvenience my job and co-workers, and embarrass myself in front of the entire waiting room. read more

While the staff and techs were very nice, my daughter and I waited a long time to be seen... so she just sat in a robe while others who got there well after we had arrived, went in to be seen. Fast forward 1 month later, and the bills arrive. While I'm fine with paying Solis' bill, I AM NOT OK with the second charge from the Hospital itself! Not only was this charge NOT RELAYED to us, but I've since been told it's not verbal but in the print. UMMM, NO. I'm sorry, but my nerves are shot wondering if my daughter is ok, and you're wanting/expecting me to READ FINE PRINT?! I don't think so Solis - and it's hefty. You need to let us know of these things VERBALLY, because here's the deal: I would have gone somewhere else had I known! read more

Solis is very unprofessional and uncaring. I came day one after verifying the exact location to be in network. I waited almost an hour after my appointment time to even get checked in. I didn't complain because sometimes this happens. The person demanded I decide if my insurance is Aetna or blue cross and I explained at least three times that, as the card says, it is neither of those. Finally she found how to file my insurance and I was taken to a dressing area. I changed, went in for mammogram, was asked to repeat questions from the check in and was told I couldn't have a screening mammogram. I need a diagnostic and one with dr orders. I was marched out to make another appointment. The red haired woman at the front desk tried to get a different person to make the appointment after wasting time for about ten minutes. Finally after an hour and a half I left. Next day I got a call in the morning that they requested the dr order but didn't have it so I should cancel. I confirmed the just then requested and they suggested I pick it up. I called my doctor office and spent my lunch times getting this paper instead of lunch. I went to the appointment and again waited 45 minutes before I could be checked in. The same red haired woman then told me, we don't take your insurance here. Only a different building in Denton does. I explained I checked with my insurance and this location is even in network. Could she please check again. No, she would not check. When I persisted she stood up, walked to the copier and back announcing no, she verified. I asked why was I asked to get a doctors order and asked to come back after everything was verified if suddenly today you're not on my insurance. You were yesterday. She just looked at me and basically agreed it sucks for me. Would I like help making a THIRD appointment at their other building after taking two afternoons and a lunch break off of work. As an educator I get 8 days a year. They just stole one of those precious days and acted like my time and health were meaningless. I am furious and will never be back. read more

I'm very pleased with Solis. I had both a mammogram and a bone density test done and they worked to coordinate them so I was in and out as quick as possible. The staff was pleasant and professional. I had results in less than 24 hours on the mammogram. read more

PSA: If for any reason you have to go to the hospital do not go to Medical City Denton. They are the worst and allow employee's to steal personal items and then hide behind paperwork. I was rushed by ambulance to this hospital and I was unconscious. I was placed in ICU and woke up 24hrs later. When I came to my 24kt gold rope chain bracelet had been removed. One of my nurses remembered an ER nurse bringing it in and it came up missing. Nobody but hospital staff was in my room. I searched the room for my bracelet nowhere to be found. Now not only are they playing dumb but now refuse to give me the full names of the nurses that we're in my room that day. Telling me that I have to pay them for my medical records for the names of the nurse's when it's apparent someone stole that bracelet. Mary and Kelly in risk management were no help and tried to handle me like I was slow and stupid. Telling me there's no evidence it was stolen but it came up missing and a nurse saw ER bring it into my room. I made a police report and everything but was told that it wasn't likely it would be pawned due to the fact that I started making a deal about it while I was still admitted. I have been admitted to many hospitals in the DFW area and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I am so disgusted and feel so disrespected by all of this. If you have no choice but this hospital make sure you go with no valuables what so ever. They don't care that they have theives on their staff and will treat you with very little regard. They are trash. read more
