It started with the staff sitting and ignoring me when I walked in. They had us sign in at desk in the middle of the room and sit and wait. Then I was called into a cubby in the corner that had a temporary desk shoved against a window. I've come to Solis for years. I usually go to the one at the hospital. I've been here before without a problem. However, I will never come to this one again. having three staff up front with only one serving patients and the others not making eye contact is just rude. put them in back if they are not working with up front patients. read more

I had a bad experience last year and should have not return... After multiple calls from Solis I booked my appt online this past Wednesday, I showed up for my appt yesterday on-time. Front desk lady (very nice) was processing my registration and said there is an issue, she proceeded to go to the back and the Tech came over to discuss. I was told I was not released yet for annual's even though they were the ones calling me to make the appt. Of course I'm upset, because I received non-stop calls to make the appt, I even got a call the day before to reconfirm my appt just to drive all the way there to be told they can't see me because the Ultrasound tech needs to be there. I told the very rude Tech that I don't understand why they kept calling me to make the appt, which she decided to reply with "you knew you had to be back here in March and you didn't, do you have a name of the person who was calling you?" Which I don't but I can show all the calls received from Solis. Then she decided it was a good idea to start discussing out loud my medical records & last year diagnosis, which are confidential and a clear violation of HIPPA laws in the lobby and in front of another patient. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and distraught. How you dare to discuss medical confidential information in front of others??? Who gives this Tech the right to do so? Not even once she acknowledge it was their mistake but she decided to release medical information in front of others?? I stand up and said I was leaving and that I need copy of my medical records so I can go somewhere else!! What a freaking joke! You guys are playing with people's life and think it is okay to share out in public their medical records? read more

My appointment was at 10 am. It is now 10:50. I wasn't able to do the paperwork online either because they send your code to an email which requires you leave the email you in to get the code but when you go back to the email to input the code you have to start the process over so it won't accept the code they just sent you. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a friendly hello, how are you. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They don't rush you if you have any questions. They take you back to the dressing room and give you all the information you need to get ready for your procedure. Amanda was my mammography technician and she was excellent. I have several disability issues and she worked with me so I wouldn't be uncomfortable. She was so sweet and kind and I definitely appreciated her professionalism and her willingness to work with my issues. I would definitely recommend Solis for all you mammography needs. I had to do a last minute schedule and I am pleased with this location. It is very clean and organised. I have made several phone calls to coordinate the doctors order and some documents they needed and they were very prompt in returning my calls. Crystal was one who was very helpful with my inquiries. Lori in admitting didn't get irritated that I showed up for my appointment an hour early. She was very nice and took me right back to see if possibly I could get my diagnostic mammogram early. Kimberly came and got me right away and did my mammogram. She was very gentle yet got perfect pictures, also, She explained the process thoroughly and what i could expect. Extremely disappointed in this place and would give negative stars if it was possible. Someone very close to me received the news that they have breast cancer following a biopsy, mammogram, and ultrasound done here at Solis in Denton. Obviously that news is no fault to Solis, but the way they handled returning her images- which are vital to continuing her treatment and getting her health restored- was painfully unprofessional and inconsiderate. Once diagnosed, we called and requested her images. We were told they would be ready in 24-48 hours. 48 hours later, we called again. We were told that the first person we spoke to was incorrect and now it will be 5-7 days. 7 days later, we called again. The images were not ready. Our family practitioner also reached out to them and they were told that Solis would not expedite the process and we would have to continue to wait. The manager of our family practitioner contacted the manager of this location and was also told that Solis would not expedite the process and we would have to continue to wait. It has now been 17 days and we have heard nothing from the staff here. All the while, the staff was rude, unhelpful, and lacked any care at all for our situation, knowing that they have been holding up her treatment. The doctor she saw was phenomenal, but with a lackluster staff that will not produce the images that are vital to continuing treatment, I would never send anyone to them. Oh and a quick note: if you email them, you'll get a response that their email is full and you can't email them anymore. Fortunately, our oncology surgeon has a connection to the Southlake location which was able to produce the images for us in less than 24 hours between yesterday and today. All in all, this experience made this news and process so much worse than it already is. I genuinely would not send my worst enemy here and urge you to avoid having your images, biopsy, or anything else done here. read more

Very easy process and they take extra precautions during COVID. Everyone was wearing a mask and I may have been the only patient in the office at the time. I felt safe and comfortable for my visit. This is a new location and still has some construction going on. This office is on the second floor and everyone was very nice. This is a nervous type of visit if you have never had a mammo before and the staff made sure to explain the process and steps to make your visit more comforting. If you've got health concerns due to Covid, I'd try elsewhere. The office space here is small, so for a respiratory virus, you need masks, wiping, fewer people, air purifiers, and time between patients. They're not doing much beyond masks. Some wiping. Mostly I'm annoyed that they're misleading people. I specifically asked about how many people would be in each of the wait rooms - they have two. "Very limited - maybe one other person." I asked how long we'd be waiting inside for the appointment. "You go straight in to your scan." The answers I was given were incorrect, and since that can impact my health, that makes me angry. There were several people in the inner waiting room and many people in the outer wait room waiting. It wasn't straight in ... it was a 10 to 15 minute wait. With others, for most of that time. During that time, I got to see that there was no wiping down of the changing rooms between patients. I watched three women all pick the same room to change, by the way. No way for them to know the room had just been used, and all walked in before I could say anything. No air purifiers in the inner wait room or the scanning room. Just a fan in the inner wait room, which, if you've read any of the studies, can be more problematic than beneficial. If you don't have a compromised immune system, then this probably won't bother you. But if you do, I'd pick another location because the lines they're spinning aren't true. read more

They have unvaccinated technicians working in small rooms in close proximity with patients who could potentially have cancer. Can they legally do this at the time? Yes. Is it good client care that protects patients? No, in my opinion . Is it good business practice? I'd have to go with no again. If you are trying to stay safe during this pandemic I would question them thoroughly about; their staff, procedures and protocols. read more

Had my first mammogram in five years. Just kept putting it off - because who likes to get their breasts smashed? The process always seemed archaic. Today's experience has turned my way of thinking. My experience at Solis Mammography Denton South was positive from start to finish. Lori in the front office was friendly and eased the registration process. Crystal was my mammogram tech and she was so kind and gentle and gave instructions with a soothing voice. In addition, the new Smart Curve imaging machine gave me no discomfort! It is made of a curved poly carbonate-like material and not the cold plates I've had before. I will not hesitate to go back to Solis Denton South for my mammogram next year! read more
