One competitor said I was too big for any scooter that would fit in my car, the other had what I wanted, but it wasn't comfortable. I was worried when I stopped in to Florida Mobility, a mom and pop looking shop. Loads of merchandise CRAMED into a small strip mall shop. But I felt instantly comfortable talking about my unique needs. Maybe it was his limp, understanding why I wanted a 3 wheel, not a 4. We sat and talked about my ideas of transporting it and he told me his experiences and set me straight. I said I liked the Buzzaround best, but liked the larger seat on the huge model. Next thing I know, he said I can pay an upgrade fee and take it with the extra big seat....I now had a perfect scooter, one that doesn't exist in any catalogs. He then made me take it apart and put it together, so he was happy with my knowledge of it. OK, it's a little mom and pop store, but I was treated as a friend. I recommend them 100%. The 2 lousy reviews are why I wrote this. This store deserves a try, it's NOT a huge chain, it's just a couple of caring people, solving mobility problems for regular folks!!

Both had some minor mechanical issues (mainly with the canopies falling apart because the hardware was loose). The on/off switch on one of the scooters started failing after a few days - turning the key to the of position did nothing, the scooter remained powered up. Then the switch failed completely - the dash indicators showed that it was powered on, but the scooter wouldn't move. I had to push the thing up a ramp for about 50 feet - this was a challenge at I'm disabled hence why I needed that scooter in the first place. NEVER AGAIN will I rent from this company.

I called ahead, customer service was friendly and courteous. The scooter was delivered at the time promised by a friendly staff member. He explained everything to me. (Unlike other companies). I used the scooter to scoot around my Disney Hotel and then on a Disney Cruise ship. When the cruise docked, I left the scooter at the Port Canaveral pier as instructed. No hassle and problem! The regular sized scooter was so comfortable and had great power and zip. I will definitely rent again from Walker Scooter Rentals! Plus, inexpensive too! This scooter made my vacation so much fun!

I lost park time with my son on his 16th bday and getting to see him meet all the Star Wars characters and take pics of it! Which is all he wanted for his bday! The bank made it right when I filed a dispute on the charge for damaged equipment and I did get my money back that way. I did give the owner time to do it on his own but I heard nothing from them after the email. So my bank did it. I use to love them. Now I'd never rent from them again even if it was free! I'm sure the owner will get on here and berate me again as he has done with others on these reviews that speak the truth. It's sad to see an owner act this way and speak to his customers the way he does. If I could give zero stars I would.
