Things were timely and explained. The radiologist who gave me a cortisone injection was actually the owner and talked about how pleased she was to be able to meet the need for these services out in Spruce/Stony. She also encouraged me to come back in if the bursitis returns (after 3 months) if it lasts for a week. Good to know rather than leaving it to see if it goes away. I will definitely choose to go here again the future if I need radiology services. Found the clinic very welcoming and efficient. Everything was clean and organized.

The techs gave me a rolled up towel for the small of my back & a wedge under my knees. I paid for it privately because I wanted answers quickly. The bill was $540. On principle, I disapprove of private medicine. But given the underfunding of health care & education under successive provincial governments since Ralph Klein, I'm grateful I can afford to access an MRI quickly.

The booking office said it arrived at 1:00 pm Friday 27th. Why was I not given my appointment? I wrote a long complaint to head office. Darren Michael's received my complaint letter via email. He phoned today March 4th and said he has look into the matter and his front staff did nothing wrong. I asked him rather a few times if my form was sent to main office at 1:00 pm therefore I should have had my appointment. He could not answer that question. But I was told the fax arrived at 1:18 pm at Landrum. Most forms go through booking. He never looked at the time it arrived at booking. This is not a firm to book appointment through. There are other Imaging firms in Edmonton. Front staff are underling very rude and deceitful.

Overall the staff here is pleasant. Parking is moderately big, the wait room is big and stretched. Great ventilation. After hearing nothing for 30 days I followed up with the Westgate location and they told me there was no schedule and it could be november before I receive a call. I understand there are wait times in the system but to have front end untrained or uninformed is unacceptable. It is unfortunate I now feel the need to write down the names of people I speak with to ensure accuracy. Suggest you look at other providers.

I saw the technician and was out though in 30 minutes from the time of my appointment. If you are late for a scheduled appointment, they may turn you away. One couple was turned away for being late. They recommend coming 15 min early, probably so you have time to change into a gown before hand. I was already dressed in just light stretch cotton knit, so no changing was required. Avoid logos or prints on your clothes or you'll likely need to change. No buttons, no zippers. Everyone seemed pretty professional and effective. The technician seemed competent and patient with me.

There are some private waiting rooms which allow patients to be separate from the larger main waiting room. The staff I've interacted at this location has been quite professional and good at their job. I understand that the staff need to confirm your personal information but saying your full name, address, and phone number out loud in front of everyone isn't very private. There should be a better way of confirming this information without announcing it to the room. This clinic is located close to Royal Alex Hospital which is convenient however it's in a questionable neighborhood.
