I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful experience I had here. The process of Covid-19 question screening via phone, checking in at the front desk and being called in, was very efficient. I didn't expect to get called in so quickly. Timing is of the essence, especially when you're holding your pee for an ultrasound. It can mean the difference between feeling fairly comfortable versus borderline bladder torture. In another MIC location, I had to go to the washroom to relieve my bladder a tiny bit, not entirely, just to ensure I was comfortable for the exam. I didn't have to do this here because I didn't wait as long for my exam. The ultrasound tech that I met was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She introduced herself, explained what she was going to do and proceeded to work. I appreciated that she applied a soothing warm/heated gel on my belly prior to using the ultrasound probe. When you have a fairly full bladder, warm gel is definitely better than getting jolted by cold gel. She provided great customer service. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here. The the facility was clean and modern. I felt safe coming here during a pandemic. I will be coming back here for future scans.

But I guess if you come here often it will phase you. the patient waiting area is quite unique with chairs that fold out of the wall and are sturdy. See photos. The place is quite busy, staff is friendly and parking is spacious but due to other clinics in the area it can get full and you have to pay for parking. I suggest you find a driver to drop you off and they can visit Kingsway mall nearby or take transit. The wait time is pretty organized so try to be on time. Same thing wait room, then screening room, another patient waiting room, & finally the appointment. Recommended for anyone who needs specific pain management but you do need a referral with a requisition from your doctor for a specific reason.

Someone who is disabled shouldn't be forced to conform to the technology. He was completely unwilling to think of alternate solutions or even ask other staff to help out. He was just going to sentence this person to life in a wheel chair and going into long-term care because she wouldn't be able to go home. The person needs surgery and could not have it if the x-ray was not done. Fortunately Bone and Joint Clinic staff came to the rescue and the x-ray got done inspite of the horrible services by the X-ray Clinic at Northgate.

Make sure this…read morelocation can do the X-ray you require, usually front desk receptionist will let you know or redirect you to another location and booking over phone. Overall the staff here is pleasant. Parking is moderately big, the wait room is big and stretched. Great ventilation. The wait is quite long probably half an hour but that's also because I'm in for walk-in without appointment. So I'm quite pleased. Just bring a device to distract yourself, you never know how long these waits may be.

Unfortunately the first time checking in the place, their computer systems were down so I had a longer wait. At least they had a food network show to keep me distracted. When entering the rooms to wait for the doctor, I noticed the rooms are not sound proof so you may hear other people talking. However, this doctor was good and whose only in on Sundays which I think is fine. Prescribed me medication which in due time will improve my symptoms. Overall I'd say it was worth the wait. I'll be following up with this doctor as recommended. I'd recommend this location for a rheumatologist doctor. However, you do need a referral and he only appears here on Sundays only.

Not a professional thing to say as I am not his daughter but a patient who seeks to be taken seriously. More recently I was referred to see the rheumatologist that works there part-time. Dr. Atef Abdulsamad. He regarded me only with bored indifference and impatience. My follow up appointment with him lasted literally less than 10 minutes and he just said that I'm fine and nothing is wrong -- 3 knee surgeries and countless patella subluxations and dislocations for the past 2 decades cause me to disagree. He had no curiosity or interest to find out what was wrong or causing me such intense chronic joint and musculoskeletal pain, he simply read what the blood tests and X-Rays said and called it good. He could have told me that over the phone and saved me a $30 uber. The lady at the front desk was courteous and polite.

For all you vagina possessing folk, she is an awesome gynaecologist. Paps are very quick and painless. She handles them in a way that doesn't make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. Highly recommend. The only downside to this Medicentre is the staff. They aren't very good at communicating and come off as very rude. It's worth it though for the doctor's.

Went to Glenwood Radiology in Spruce Grove. It was a very professional and good experience. Little…read morefrustrating with the initial self check-in with temperature reader that wasn't working well. After going into the radiology section, it was a well run process. Things were timely and explained. The radiologist who gave me a cortisone injection was actually the owner and talked about how pleased she was to be able to meet the need for these services out in Spruce/Stony. She also encouraged me to come back in if the bursitis returns (after 3 months) if it lasts for a week. Good to know rather than leaving it to see if it goes away. I will definitely choose to go here again the future if I need radiology services. Found the clinic very welcoming and efficient. Everything was clean and organized.
