I wanted to replace the old hospital bed that I had rented sight-unseen. It did not work out for what I needed for my mom. I was greeted at the showroom and very patiently shown the options within my budget. I chose a bed and asked when it could be delivered so I could have the other company come to remove their bed. Ray gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him when I was ready-- the same day or next morning which was Thanksgiving Day. Ray was very nice, patient, and personable. When I called him from the hospital with my mom's same day discharge plans, he said, "We'll load it up right now and meet you at your place." These folks are REAL people with REAL feelings for my very real situation. They were even having a company holiday barbecue when all of this went down and they invited me to share some of their food. Chrisland's crew not only delivered the bed on the evening before Thanksgiving Day, but they disassembled the old rental bed and stored it on the porch for pickup by the other company that couldn't pick it up till after the holiday weekend. I wish I could remember the young man's name who headed the delivery crew. He was polite, patient, and compassionate in explaining and providing tips on how to utilize the bed's features. My mom is active in the hospital bed, and I have to keep a very close eye on her. The bed alarm is perfect. Whenever she shifts her weight on the bed, the alarm sounds and I can check on her. I have to weigh her for record-keeping purposes since she's also newly on a G-tube, and the bed scale is also perfect. I can raise the bed up to tend to my mom without bending or leaning. The bed even tilts the head at a downward angle to make repositioning my mom so much easier when I have to slide her back up to the head of the bed. Needing a bed for my mom was stressful enough. Chrisland helped make it bearable! I highly recommend Chrisland Medical Inc to anyone who needs a hospital bed. I got exactly what I wanted, and Chrisland's customer service was STELLAR!

The chair never came so I called spoke with Ash on 3/25/15 and he said the chair would be delivered on Thursday 4/2/15. When I called today Ash said he had the delivery for next week on Wednesday 4/8/15 which I told him was wrong. I told them they cancelled on her twice already and she really needs the bath chair. I contacted Mozena Medical for repairs on my aging Hoyer lift, which had an oil leak. From the…read morestart, I felt the process was oriented toward getting me to replace my equipment rather than repair it -- despite my repeated insistence that it likely just needed oil. They did complete the actual repair, but left the job unfinished: the oil was never refilled and the bolts were never re-tightened. Multiple parts of the lift were loose and unstable when they handed it back to me. I raised this concern several times while they were still engaged, and was dismissed each time. Their solution was to apply my $850 toward a new machine -- which would have cost me an additional $500 out of pocket. Ultimately, a handyman friend tightened the bolts and refilled the jack oil. The lift worked perfectly after that. Two simple steps that should have been part of any competent service call. What concerns me most is the safety implication. This is a lift that raises a person into the air. Had I used it with loose bolts before my friend intervened, I could have fallen and been seriously injured. When I kept telling them something wasn't right, the response was indifference. That's a troubling attitude for a company working with disabled and medically vulnerable clients. The underlying repair may well have been sound -- but an incomplete job isn't a finished job. I wanted to be able to rely on them for future service, and I genuinely can't recommend them based on this experience.
