The supplies they send out indicate Medicare will cover supplies such as face masks and cushions 1 every month pillows for the mast 2 per month and filters 2 per month. My last shipment of supplies from this source was last summer my last doctor visit was may 2021 the supplies should have lasted four months possibly six if I only replaced things once a month or so. I did receive a call from these people 4 or more or so months ago asking if I needed more supplies they scheduled my delivery which never came I received a call apologizing as there was an issue shipping several months later. Bit still no supplies. Luckily I an frugal and can afford to purchase my own replacements as needed, many older seniors can not do I consider myself very fortunate. Yesterday I received a very disturbing call from metro med telling me they couldn't ship my supplied as I hadn't been to the doctor since 2019 wow I was shocked and I tried to explain the situation the they shipped me supplies last summer and my last doctor visit was may 13, 2021 the caller got quite indignant saying their records did not indicate I've been to the doctor when I asked how did they ship me an order last summer they virtually asked me if I had anything important to discuss - I admit I did wrong as told them no not with you and hung up. I proceeded to call my doctors office who seemed somewhat surprised and told me they would look into the situation I thanked them. After thinking over my situation I called metromed back and talked to a nicer person who I don't think believed a word I told them but did promise they would contact the doctor. It seems to me this suppler lacks either proper record keeping skills or software or they may even be scamming the government by billing for things never sent out. I am seriously considering finding the proper government agency to see if there should be an investigation as over a two year period I've only received two orders of supplies while before that it would have been 3 or 4 a year. It's a shame businesses survive that seem to have absolutely no idea how to run efficiently without appearing to take advantage of people who rely on the medical system if you feel you've been scammed call your insurance company if you are on Medicare call 800-447-8477 don't let predictors or poor businesses continue surviving

And, you actually get to talk to a live person. Not only are they quick to fill prescriptions, if they don't have it they will go out of their way to get you what you need or offer alternative recommendations, and they did just that today. They will also deliver if needed. Who does that anymore except for those that truly value their customers. Unfortunately, I have to take a lot of medications now. I don't know why I didn't do this before, but after the help I received today I am transferring all my prescription needs (and my wife's) to this pharmacy. My wife already has a compound delivered like clockwork every month, so we will transfer the rest of her prescriptions. You really need to check this place out. Amazing!!!

I rented a three-wheeled electric scooter from DMES Medical Supply Store for a three day Expo. I picked up the unit Thursday and returned it Monday. Because the event was only Fri, Sat & Sun, I was only charged for those three days. What a wonderful surprise. Also I had until closing to return it on the last day. DMES offers (free?) delivery, but because I needed it the day I arrived in town I chose to pick it up. Same day delivery was quoted as $100, plan ahead. Amol was very knowledgeable and did an effective job teaching how to disassemble and reassemble the scooter. The parts fit into a Matrix car. I chose a heavier-duty model, the Phoenix, so the parts may be lighter on the medium-duty scooter, I did not look at those. I originally contacted a different DMES location and the woman was very helpful in making sure the Los Alamitos location, which was much closer to my destination, had what I needed before I drove over. The store is well stocked with a range of medical equipment from adult bibs and compression socks to walkers and hospital-style beds. The large equipment is on the showroom floor so you can really examine it. I saw no "do not touch" signs. The rental cost $135 with a $400 deposit which was refunded in 2 days, even though they warned me it could take until the end of the week. read more

I had a wonderful experience. ADRIAN the owner helped me personally. My relative is on 24 hour OXYGEN and Adrian installed an OXYGEN holder in the back of her wheelchair. They also polished our wheelchair, installed new back rest and new foot rests. He also checked the wheels at no cost. I had been looking for weeks for the right wheelchair and COURTNI & LISA in the office found the chair for me and I came in and bought it. They saved me a lot of running around. 0 rating! Took my husband's Walker in to tighten the Left brake. Walker was in perfect condition. Left it there for a couple of hours. When I picked it up, the Left brake handle was broken, loosely hanging there,not working anymore. They broke it. Told me they could order parts but I had to pay for it. This was so wrong. Long story short, we ended up buying a cane and eventually a electric wheelchair. They also gave us a sample of a CBD Balm, and said it will immediately take the pain away from my wife's arthritis in her knee - with a comment that "I know you will be back to buy the product because it has worked for everyone that I've done this with". They were right! The pain goes away immediately, and we have probably recommended this product to at least 10 to 15 other people who suffer pain from arthritis. What impressed me the most also, was the attitude of their customers coming into the store to buy something. Most of them seem to be repeat customers. I've also ran into friends that know the store, and say it's the best store for product, service and value. Everybody there is very professional, they know their products, and the service is way above any five star rating I could possibly give. Not only do I recommend this store, we also have become a part of their family.

I contacted Mozena Medical for repairs on my aging Hoyer lift, which had an oil leak. From the…read morestart, I felt the process was oriented toward getting me to replace my equipment rather than repair it -- despite my repeated insistence that it likely just needed oil. They did complete the actual repair, but left the job unfinished: the oil was never refilled and the bolts were never re-tightened. Multiple parts of the lift were loose and unstable when they handed it back to me. I raised this concern several times while they were still engaged, and was dismissed each time. Their solution was to apply my $850 toward a new machine -- which would have cost me an additional $500 out of pocket. Ultimately, a handyman friend tightened the bolts and refilled the jack oil. The lift worked perfectly after that. Two simple steps that should have been part of any competent service call. What concerns me most is the safety implication. This is a lift that raises a person into the air. Had I used it with loose bolts before my friend intervened, I could have fallen and been seriously injured. When I kept telling them something wasn't right, the response was indifference. That's a troubling attitude for a company working with disabled and medically vulnerable clients. The underlying repair may well have been sound -- but an incomplete job isn't a finished job. I wanted to be able to rely on them for future service, and I genuinely can't recommend them based on this experience.

While I was there, I overheard the lady speaking to another customer that the store is certified to do mastectomy bra fittings.
