At first the massage seemed a bit too gentle for me, but as Zach worked his magic, I felt myself relaxing & found my body getting rid of tension. He was very gentle, had a soothing voice, and encouraged me to speak up if I wanted to adjustment the pressure of his massage. He was very receptive of my requests, unlike other massage therapists I have had who massaged their own comfortable way. After the massage, he recommended stretches to help my traps and rhomboids. The place was very quiet and clean. The receptionist who scheduled my appointment was very professional and poised.

I just returned from their 'How to Transform Your Life Day Retreat' at the East Hartford location, and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience that I had today. I attended the event with my friend Dereka, a dedicated Yogi (and a Yelp Elite), who agreed that we will both be back for many more meditation classes. *HUGE thank you to Resident Teacher Kelsang Khyenwang for providing us with the her incredible wisdom, hospitality, and compassion. She taught all 4 classes throughout our retreat day with insurmountable love and sincerity. Each class during our retreat was about an hour long, where we were lovingly taught about basic Buddhist lessons that were aimed to teach us how to "step out of the ordinary of our daily lives" to be mindful in what we think, say, and do in order to positively transform our lives and those that we come in contact with. The lessons were so relatable and our Teacher explained them in a way that was not only easily understood, but also profoundly moving. I will absolutely be back for more meditation classes. In fact, when I come back, I want to bring my parents, my siblings, my friends, my staff...pretty much anyone who is willing to come with me. My experience here was THAT good. I no longer wake up in pain. I actually look forward to attending two morning classes weekly. It is a very friendly and relaxed environment. Liz takes the time to help anyone who is having an issue or problem in class or outside of class. She is always available to help with modifications if needed. I researched Yoga classes in my area with a few criteria in mind: convenient location and times, experienced, knowledgeable instructor, comfortable atmosphere, encouragement but no pressure. I called Liz and immediately felt comfortable enough to try her class. Of course I was nervous at my first class. I spoke to a few others and asked about the class. Everyone was positive with comments like "Liz is wonderful, She'll encourage you to push yourself with no pressure, I've been coming to this class for years, etc." I've now been attending yoga class twice weekly for about two months now and I love it! I can feel my strength and flexibility improving and Liz tells me with time I might even flatten my belly. Everyone is friendly, yet the class is a good size with opportunity for individualized help as needed. The payment procedure is convenient and reasonable. Liz is amazing, always encouraging as she varies the class weekly so it always feels fresh and new. It's a great class! So, if you are interested in Yoga, give it a try.

The space inside is welcoming. I find the concerts very relaxing. The word concert doesn't really fit. More like a group sound meditation. The sounds help the 90 minutes go by very quickly, and it is long enough to help your mind settle down. Every time I go, I find myself saying I should go more often.

My first experience was eye opening! The musicians played the instruments so beautifully as I escaped into my own state of meditation. It was absolutely incredible. I live an hour away and will forever continue to come here. Each musician makes it a new experience. The staff is incredible and so welcoming. I preach these sound meditations to my friends (some of which have joined me!). My meditation practices have expanded and my life has been a lot more peaceful because of it.
