Food: Good overall. Excellent for the area. For starters, I recommend the Hummus, Falafel, and Baba Ganouj. Grape Leaves were a bit dry. Greek Salad was excellent. I'm a sucker for those. For something really unique, try the Za'atar. I couldn't believe how herby this pie is. Service: Ordered to go and gave plenty of time. When I went in however, they were a bit sluggish to get to me. Otherwise, friendly. Price: Too pricey for regularity maybe, but certainly not too expensive to only be reserved for special occasions. If you're looking for sheer value, the Salads, Pizzas & Pies are well-priced for what you get, I feel. Not so much for the Burgers & Starters maybe. Atmosphere: Fairly casual. Looks very nice and clean inside though I have yet to dine in. I was aware of this old building being there for many years. I've eaten lunch here several times recently. The food is amazing but a bit on the pricy side. The beef schawarma is my favorite so far. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is nice as well. Overall it's a great place to eat lunch if you don't mind a little extra. read more

Eating at this restaurant was delightful. Hummus and pita slices appetizer was good, but the pita chips (deep fried I think) are even better with the hummus. Greek salads were excellent and very fresh. Sicilian roll with fries was very good--the marinara sauce makes it. Cyprus panini was also very good. While in town for a very socially distant fall break getaway with the family, we chose Mediterranean Breeze for a carry-out dinner one night. We ordered a beef kabob from the kids' menu, which was eaten by the kiddo in family without any fanfare. My husband ordered naked hot wings. He remarked that the sauce was flavorful without bringing on too much sweat. I was super excited to see so many vegetarian options on the menu! This mean that I could order based on my level of hunger instead of just ordering the one thing on the menu that was vegetarian. Yay! I decided to try their falafel wrap because I was interested in the way the radish, tomatoes, pickles, and parsley would play with the falafel and tahini sauce. It sounded like a really delicious combo of flavors. Well, when my husband came back with the food, I discovered I got the falafel appetizer instead. Now to be clear, my dinner was still tasty. It just wasn't what I ordered. The falafel was good, but in traditional falafel fashion, it's quite dry. You've got to have ample dippin' sauce if you're going to make a dinner out of falafel, right? One little takeout container of their tahini sauce came with the order, but it wasn't nearly enough. I'd recommend two or even three containers. Overall, the food was good and we filled our bellies. If we visited again, I'd make sure to double check the food containers before we drive away. read more

Fried feta was over cooked. The texture was more like tofu-very firm. Not really much flavor. The chips were over cooked as well, and the server didn't even have a comment when I mentioned it. Beer selection is average. Building is very dated and even the patio needs some attention. read more

Waited 15 minutes for someone to take our name/acknowledge the lobby full of people for the list then at least another 45 to be seated. Sat us, gave menus, took drink orders then came back with drinks after we looked at the menu for 10 minutes. She leaves then comes back to take our order and all beef/shawarma/steak was sold out. We decided to go elsewhere since most of their foods weren't available at this point. We still had to pay for drinks we didn't even drink. I would not recommend going there anytime soon. read more

Mediterranean Breeze in St Albans West Virginia is highly recommend! The food is always freshly made and enjoyable.

My wife and I recently visited this place for dinner for our first time. We have been hearing great things about it. When we arrived about 5pm they had a substantial wait. That's a good thing in this case. However we lucked out and grabbed a couple high top chairs along the brick wall in the bar area. Turned out to be pretty neat as our backs were to the crowd and the way the chairs were situated we were about a 45 degree angle from one another. Quite intimate. The staff was quick and friendly. Another plus because the place was packed. We started with drinks and appetizers. Both came quick and it was delicious. I got some type of parsley salad and my wife got the stuffed grape leaves. We shared with each other. I'm telling you it was fresh and awesome. For our dinner I ordered the 10 inch spinach wood fired pizza with a side of breadsticks and my wife ordered the skillet baked spaghetti. Wowza! That had to be the prettiest and most flavorful veggie pizza I've ever had. And the amount of cheese on the baked spaghetti was another site to see. My wife loved the spaghetti. The breadsticks were good the the winner was the homemade marinara. Toward the end of our dinner the owner came around to see how everything was. Bonus Points! Excellent service and excellent food. I will be back to try more from the menu. And I won't mind the wait. read more

We ordered 4 meals for take out, and the employee said it would be ready in 25 minutes. We arrived in 25 minutes and called when we arrived and paid over the phone. They said it would be right out. We waited another half an hour and called again. The employee said the food is ready and she would bring it right out and she was looking at the order. We did not get the food for another hour after than conversation, approximately 2 hours after ordering it. We had to hail down two separate servers and go inside before we finally got it. We also observed mutliple servers not wearing masks and large groups of patrons not wearing masks with the restaurant brimming to capacity. When the food finally came, it was terrible and felt like it had been sitting out for hours. The "chicken shawarma" I ordered only had chicken in a tortilla - no sauce, no vegetables, nothing but chicken and bread. With it were 13 soggy french fries (+2$ extra charge. Picture attached). 0 of five stars, will not be patronizing here ever again and would not recommend to anyone. read more

I finally had the opportunity to check out this place. I ordered the cast iron spaghetti and the pepperoni rolls to go. I always have concerns when order to go because the quality isn't the same. Wow! What a fantastic find. Wife and daughter and I just enjoyed a spectacular Valentine's dinner with creamy hummus, tender and tasty beef shwarma and a smoked gouda and grilled chicken pizza, along with a tall draft local craft beer and margarita. Super friendly staff and owners and authentic Lebanese cuisine, along with special American favorites. We couldn't have been more pleased with the food or the warmth of the proprietors. The wait to be seated was long, but that was expected due to the limited seating. The wait to be served was very long, however. We waited for a waiter & drinks for nearly an hour. The waitress said there was a mixup, and was helpful, so why hold it against her? Our appetizer was the falafel & pita bread. I really liked them - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they came with a good sauce. They have a good selection of appetizers, but I wish the sandwiches and entrees had a wider variety. Our food was pretty good. The servings could've been a little bigger for the price, but they were enough to fill me up. For the most part, I enjoyed the meal. The biggest complaint I had with my panini is that it came with pickles on it, but that wasn't listed on the menu... ick! Not a problem if you like them, though. MEDITERRANEAN BREEZE! It's awesome. And I admit it. My mom and I are food snobs (especially my mom! ). Our lunch was perfection. Sat outside on the river, enjoying the beautiful day and the breeze. Everything sounded so good we decided to share. First of all, they will cook your meat to order! Major plus. We started with the Fried Feta that came with fried pita chips and a Mediterranean blend of tomatoes, cucumber and olives on top. We ordered filet kabobs, medium rare, with rice and upgraded to a small Greek salad. The steak which was deliciously seasoned was cooked to perfection and I literally cut it with a fork. It also came with deliciously seasoned mixed vegetables. We ordered a maple bacon cheddar burger, medium, and upgraded to onion rings. I took a picture of the burger cut in half so you could see how thick and how it was cooked to juicy medium perfection. Everything was amazing and service was fast. Megan, our waitress, was a jewel. I've been seeing this blow up on FB and so glad we finally tried it! I'm sorry we waited so long and can't wait to come back with the hubby. PS. On a subsequent trip , we ordered the Caesar salad and it was bangin! The grilled the romaine which was unexpected and just took it to another level entirely. NOTE, Re CDC guidelines. The wood fired pizza was enough to get me there but the staff, management, and especially the food will get me to come back. People were waiting to get in and were not sorry they did. The eggplant lasagna was delicious as well as the pizza. They grilled the romaine for the Caesar salad which made it and the creamy dressing was incredible.
