You drop them off one day and pick them up the next. It's a pleasure to have sharp knives. And in a truly efficient manner, all the questions I had were answered on a prerecorded message on the phone. But that's just a sliver of what they have to offer. Many kitchen utensils, large and small, knives, pots, pans, olive oils adorn the walls and the store itself. The prices are competive to other high end suppliers and you can look, feel and even try items before you buy them. While just browsing, I asked for some advise, warning them that I wasn't buying and friendly, on point advise was forthcoming. Highly recommend! And remember, shop local.

I had placed an order from the big online store that I feel is taking over and running people out of business with their sometimes subpar items. Sure, they are convenient, but I'm all about helping the local businesses. I canceled my items once I walked into this store and found the cast iron soap, cast iron brush, melting dome and bacon press I had ordered, all with similar prices, except that I was able to see and touch the items. The store clerks have so far, been helpful. Pay a visit if ever in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah, so turns out they have these big containers of things like soap, shampoo, detergent, housecleaning products and basically you bring in your own glass bottle or you purchase a bottle one time, and then instead of continuing to buy plastic bottles full of housecleaning products you just come back to this store and refill them. I could honestly walk here it's probably around a mile from my house and then I would be buying this stuff and not driving so my carbon footprint would be nothing. I feel like we've stopped talking about carbon footprints. We should probably start talking about that again. Also just lovely housewares. We bought these little towels to use instead of paper towels. I was skeptical but they've worked great. And I have stopped buying so many rolls of paper towels which I feel good about. Especially since I'm so bad about recycling. I'm sorry I just think it's a scam. We bought a really nice cutting board. I feel like we bought something else. The people who worked there were delightful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of nice houseware items. I feel like my reviews are usually funnier than this one but I have a sore throat this morning and we have company and I woke up and I'm like oh no I hope I don't have Covid because a month or so ago we had Covid. Today I brought them back, along with two different keys for the same lock, and asked if they could just check them against them in the machine, try cleaning them up. However, they don't seem to have a process for placing orders, so she transferred me to someone in Accounting to obtain the price for shipping. The lady said that I had to send my order via email to get the information. I did as I was told and got an email back stating to call back the store for the price???? When I called back Johanna transferred me again to the Accounting department and the same lady asked me to provide her with my credit card number and that she would not bill until she figure out the amount. I asked for a breakdown of the charges but said that she could not provide one at the moment; that she would call me the next day. I never obtained the shipping amount but she did give me price for the plates which was different from what Johanna first quoted. She said that she would have to transfer me back to Johanna to verify the price, which she did. I questioned the price as being different/higher to the one she first quoted and to my surprise, Johanna responded - "look lady, I was just doing you a favor, go buy the plates someplace else, I don't have no time for this" and hung up. What unprofessional and rude behavior; this is totally unacceptable!!!! I called back to complain and spoke to Vince who said that they have no Supervisors/Managers at that place and transferred me back to Johanna - is she the Supervisor?? She made matters worse by responding - "I was about to leave and turned back for this? There is no Supervisor/Manager here" and hung up a second time. I just called back again this morning, 5/8, and once again asked for someone in Management and the gentleman that answered who refuse to give his name, once again said that "there is no Supervisor/Manager here, this is a Branch", so I asked where is the HQ? He said that he did not know?? Needless to say, Johanna gets away with this behavior, since there is no one to complain to about her rude and unprofessional demeanor. This type of behavior will continue to go on because there seemingly is no way to reach anyone in Management to file a formal complaint. I will never purchase any dishes from this brand again. In fact, I had purchased some from Restaurant Depot just last week and since they are still in the box, I will be returning them and taking my business somewhere else. Johanna, you were not doing me any favors. Favors are for free. I am a paying customer who is asking for a service, not a favor. I wish you well; you will eventually speak this way to the wrong customer and will end up in the unemployment line!

I am a representative for a broadline foodservice company. One of my customers asked me to order…read moreseveral cases of plates, bouillon cups, mugs and fruit dishes for a full set in June. The fruit dishes went on backorder. At the end of July, customer service could only tell me "no ETA" on when they would have more available. I made several attempts to call since and was bounced around a voice mail system with no return call to my messages. Now at the end of September, I am told "maybe in a couple of months" will there be more available. I firmly believe the only reason they are in business is because of price. Quality and service are not found with this company at all.
