My experience was with carryout. We have little ones so we do dinner dates at home. Everything was phenomenal. Like REALLY REALLY good. A little pricey ($160)for everyday family dinner but it was all really good for trying something different and new in our neighborhood. I'd go again on a date night with my husband. My favorites were the brussel sprouts with hummus and pomegranate seeds, the shrimp and the batatas bravas.

Trying to get my protein in, I wanted something with lots of vegetables and some fish. I tried here because it was close to the hotel I was staying in. I was greeted immediately and sat by a beautiful window in a booth. I was excited by the options on the menu and I selected minestrone and salmon with couscous. It was fresh, hot, and full of flavor! The service itself was wonderful. The server came to the table in appropriate intervals and the food timing to the table was also on point. Also it was late lunch time so it was not crowded at all. It was perfect after a long day.

Went for paella night, the mezze was tasty as was the cheesecake. We got the paella Valencia which was cooked well, but was very very smoky which I was not expecting and I don't think it was as tasty as it could've been. I'd like to come back and try more dishes.

Don't let the location throw you off. The food and the service was first rate. I ordered the Moroccan Kefta and it was delicious! It was served on a bed of tzatziki, lemon potatoes, and a side of olives, pipparas, and sun-dried tomatos. I can't wait to visit again when the patio is open!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with colleagues during my travels to Ann Arbor. Started with a glass of Dr hon Reisling which was delicious. Refreshing and slightly sweet. For starters we had brussel sprouts, bacon wrapped dates & olives. Everything was delicious but I kept thinking about the olives. Pitted and served room temp, the olives were meaty and it was just the right amount of salty and tangy. I had the sea bass and it was also delicious. For dessert I had the pear tart. It's served cold but I still enjoyed it. Overall a delightful meal.

Really great food. A nice upscale Italian restaurant. Our party of two showed up WAY underdressed on a Thursday night around 7pm without a reservation. There were plenty of empty tables and we were seated near the door. We decided on a salad for each of us and two "small plates". These were the largest small tapas plates I've ever had (and I've had my fair share over the years!). We could have ordered just one and been satisfied. The downside was the service. We sat for almost 15 minutes before anyone came over to welcome us and offer us water and a menu. In fact, we had just started searching for another restaurant to go to. Something must have triggered something in the back of the house because while our server rarely checked on us, the house manager and bartender both came to the table twice to see how we were doing and if we needed anything.

Food was excellent...service poor. I had an arugula with pear salad and added the tiger shrimp. This salad was excellent, albeit a bit heavy on the arugula side since only 4 shrimp for $12. But the flavors were spot on. Added a glass of house wine and my bill was just shy of $40. Service was rather cold and inattentive. I was contemplating some dessert and an espresso but I was not asked. Porsha seemed like she wanted me gone.

The service was excellent, just attentive enough yet not too much! We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts (really tasty!), and the bacon wrapped dates...would definitely get again! My coworker had the lamb shank and raved about it! I enjoyed the village salad with salmon. The salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked! Too full for dessert but I would definitely return and recommend!

The cafe is a few tables inside of the market/deli, with a lot of takeout happening but I love that they offer dining in as they heat everything up for you and it's all presented very nicely. We ordered a ton of things: harissa dip, hummus, pita, spice roasted cauliflower, tabbouleh, lasagne verde, chicken tagine, and gelato. I loved that the menu indicates which menu items have a smaller carbon footprint - and we happened to be dining there on Earth Day! The food was all flavorful and the perfect temperature, which I appreciated. My favorites were the harissa dip, tabbouleh, and the lasagne verde. The chicken tagine was very good, and we enjoyed the leftovers the next day. The spice roasted cauliflower left us wanting it to be a bit more crispy, but it was a nice side. The gelato is delicious - it's made by Palazzolo's but El Harissa provides them with the unique ingredients for their specialty flavors. They were out of some but we got to sample several. We ended up with the roasted pistachio gelato and the apricot peach cardamom. The texture of the gelato was perfectly creamy and the flavors were strong. The market has lots of great items to buy: chips, tunisian olive wood pieces, spices, etc. I'm so glad we sought out this spot and can't wait to get more of their food!

First time going to Palm Palace. My colleagues rave about it, so I wanted to try it. Let me say,…read morethe food is *exceptional.* But, I went right around 5pm with my young son. We are black. We stood in the lobby for some time before three other groups showed up: a white couple, a white woman with her toddler, and a white couple with a baby. Eventually, the hostess appeared, and looking only toward the white patrons, asked how many were in each party. Never asked me. I volunteered that there were two of us. She said it wld be 10 min. When she returned, she motioned to the white woman and toddler, and proceeded to seat them. When she returned, she told the white couple with the baby to follow her. I said, "actually, we were ahead of them, " which she ignored. Her behavior was so offensive that even the white couple volunteered, "she was ahead of us." Reluctantly, she told all of us to follow. She seated all of us at our tables. I asked if they had crayons or paper for kids. She rolled her eyes and pretended not to understand English. Note that she addressed us in English in the lobby. I'll think twice about going back. Without a doubt, the food is amazing. But I don't want to subject my kid to that kind of abuse.

We got seated right before a waitlist started building. The QR code ordering wasn't working for us, but you can just order at the counter and the staff were helpful, so it wasn't a big deal. I got the Juicy Sean wrap, the pkhali side plate, and the chocolate tahini shake. The walleye in the wrap was really good, super fresh and light. I think next time I'd get extra sauce though because it leaned a little dry for me. The pkhali side plate was great. I've heard it's seasonal, which makes me want to come back and see what else they rotate in. The flatbread paired really well with it. The chocolate tahini shake was good. I'd heard a lot about it. It just didn't stand out as much as I expected personally. Overall I really liked it and I'd come back, especially to try more of the seasonal stuff.

Very quick and friendly service. It's nice also that each table gets a QR code to order, which means that we didn't have to worry about splitting the bill. I tried the Juicy Sean Bowl and enjoyed it very much. I was curious about the sauce. Being Thai and seeing they have Prik Nam Pla was intriguing. Though it wasn't exactly authentic, it was pretty good! I liked the toppings, but felt like the ratio between toppings:rice was too low. I ended up with a lot of rice and nothing to eat it with. Could have definitely used more fish. I also tried some of the Pkhali and it was really good! The flavor of the wrap was delicious also. Highly recommended.

If I had gotten my full order it probably would have been a 5 star meal. I had the Dearborn sandwich which was basically a chicken shawarma, dark chicken meat with garlic paste and pickles. My husband was away at a conference so I could get freaky with the garlic and ordered an extra side of it to dip my fries in it, too. Alas, no fries so I dipped my sandwich right into it instead. It was POTENT and delicious! Just how I like it. I also ordered a small hummus and pita chips. It was a pretty generous serving for small and was excellent.
