When I went in, the office was definitely clean and child friendly. TV shows with animals to make her calm and laugh and décor of the jungle. They have baby hospital beds in the rooms (I cant so cute). The nurse came in and said she sees this all of the time (what!). There was no way to numb the ears because it would hurt more so the doctor made us comfortable and nurse supported him and with the right tools, got those earrings out! I think her dad and i were more impacted lol. He cleaned her up, gave us antibiotic ointment, suggested earrings and the nurse gave her stickers. Woohoo! Welcome to the future. There are multiple iPads conveniently spread out around the waiting room. It was so easy, scanned my insurance card, license, and put me on the list to be seen without having to wait or fill out endless information on a clipboard. After waiting for maybe 15-20 minutes, I was called in. The woman asking questions was an absolute doll and made me feel so comfortable even though I was in pain. She said the doctor would be in soon and I would be taken for an X-ray. The doctor came in about 10 minutes later to introduce herself and let me know I would be taken down the hall shortly. So sweet and friendly. I was taken moments later and it was quick and professional and the technician made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The doctor then came in to bring me a boot, wrap my foot up, and wrote me a letter to excuse me from work if necessary. She was absolutely the sweetest and genuinely nice urgent care doctor I have ever interacted with. Dr. Stephanie gets 6 stars from me, even if she made me remove my FRESHLY painted pedicure to see how bad the bruising was. Waa. In conclusion, its so easy and nice to be nice. Smiling goes a long way. Especially in a setting where people are sick or in pain. A lot of places can learn a thing or two from CityMD.

Went to my provider who said I had an asthmatic exacerbation. She was dumbfounded why I wasn't at least put on prednisone. Now on cough medicine with codeine, prednisone and antibiotics. I am not someone who runs for medication. I know when I am sick. I can't stand providers that don't listen to the patients. I WILL NEVER GO BACK as a provider who won't listen to my concerns, is not worth my business. #LISTEN

My son hurt his ankle and we wanted to make sure nothing was broken . It's very convenient. They can do x-rays on site and received the results via phone call within an hour. The problem comes from their billing department. We have a full insurance for urgent care with a small copay and came here a few times without any issue. However after my wife's last visit in November we received a pretty hefty bill for the visit. According to our insurance there is a simple coding issue on the bill and the billing department needs to update it. After months of back and forth the billing department just recently told us that they can't change the billing code and that only the provider can. We came back physically to the GoHealth to try and get some help. That's where the person at the front desk was going her best to get us to speak with someone. We got a quick phone call from the person in charge who assured us the matter was going to get escalated to upper management and that we will get a feedback really soon. It has been 2 weeks and it's proven impossible to get a feedback by email, phone, or contact form. Today I got a letter from their billing department saying that late fees and debt recollection will apply. Again the one star isn't here for the quality of services but for the hassle and complete lack of assistance trying to get a simple code updated so that Northwell Health can get paid by our insurance.

I came here yesterday as a walk-in because I needed an Urgent Care facility. I read Yelp reviews…read moreprior, and was hesitant to even go in since reviews warned about ridiculously long wait times. I called prior to going in and spoke to Aphrodite, who was very helpful and told me that if I got there within a half hour, I would probably have about a 30 minute wait. So calling ahead may be a good bet to see just how much the wait would be for a walk-in. Upon arriving, I was given all paperwork quickly, signed in using the screen on the wall, and true to prediction, I was in a room within 30-45 minutes, which is better turnaround than I've had with an appointment at certain places. The waiting room is also stocked with magazines (and not with just medical pamphlets/medically themed magazines), which I always find helpful for passing the time. The nurse who saw me was lovely and extremely helpful, the doctor (or NP?) was in shortly thereafter, and my prescription was dialed in immediately to my pharmacy. While it was just a first experience, it was a good one, especially since Urgent Care can be so difficult to know what to expect. It may not always be this way, considering I came at 2 PM on a Thursday, but it was still a positive experience.
