I thought I broke my foot, it was late on a Saturday and no other urgent cares had any X-ray technicians in. We took my 4 year old daughter to PM Pediatric in Spring Valley on a busy Saturday because her earrings were stuck in her lobe (i know, how?). One of her ears was infected and there was no way that I could take it out. The staff were super kind and let me know the suggested time so that the provider could see her asap. When I went in, the office was definitely clean and child friendly. TV shows with animals to make her calm and laugh and décor of the jungle. They have baby hospital beds in the rooms (I cant so cute). The nurse came in and said she sees this all of the time (what!). There was no way to numb the ears because it would hurt more so the doctor made us comfortable and nurse supported him and with the right tools, got those earrings out! I think her dad and i were more impacted lol. He cleaned her up, gave us antibiotic ointment, suggested earrings and the nurse gave her stickers. Overall, a traumatic experience was turned into a positive one because of the amazing care at PM Pediatrics. Thank you so much! read more

WORST SERVICE. PAs are not qualified and do a terrible job even for basic assessment. Our daughter had a clean ear. The PA was checking for basic ear infections and poked the ear terribly and it is bleeding all day. SUCH A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LOOK FOR CARE. read more

My son went to this facility two days ago because of flu like symptoms. They did the flu test and the Doctor told us he did not have the flu. Today we had to bring my son back to his regular pediatrician where they also did the flu test and he was diagnosed with the flu!!!! I would appreciate if doctor's can give an accurate diagnosis so my son doesn't has to suffer!!! Hate this place. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's so hard to find a decent urgent care. My son is 9 months old and had a high fever(103.5) for longer than 24 hours. He hasn't been himself, extremely tired, not wanting to eat and has only wet his diaper 2-3 times a day compared to the 6-8 diapers he usually goes through. He was scheduled to see his pediatrician but unfortunately she had an emergency. I wasn't comfortable waiting until the next day so I made the decision of being a walk in at PM Pediatrics. The front desk wasn't rude, but weren't pleasant. Let's just say she was extremely bothered that we had just walked in. The place is extremely clean and covid restrictions are put in place, I'll give credit where it's needed. We got called within 5 minutes which was wonderful. We were greeted by a medical assistant which then started to ask me questions. I explained the situation. He took his temperature and when asked what it was he said " he doesn't have a temperature" but refused to show me or tell me the actual number. Same thing happened with his oxygen level. Said it was "fine" and went about his routine. Couple minutes later the doctor came in, and asked me the same questions. From the time she came in to the time she gave me discharge papers, 7 minutes had passed. She checked his ears, his throat and used her stethoscope to listen to his breathing. That was it. Looked at me and said "oh mom his throat is red" she told me he had a viral infection and that it will "pass". And then started insisting I do a covid test on my 9 month old son.The worst part of it all was that no tests were performed on my son. She spent 5 minutes with him and then we were discharged. I'm not one to bring my kids to the doctors for anything. My son is 9 months old with 103.5 fever for more than 24 hours. I knew something was wrong with him and that it wasn't just his throat. Next morning I spoke to his pediatrician and she insisted I bring him in right away. My son needed an iv for fluids because of how dehydrated he was due to the high fever. They put a catheter on him, he has a uti infection and was administered an antibiotic shot. And to too it all off his throat is completely fine. I honestly wonder what could of happened if I listened to them and waited until it "passed." Im still baffled. I had made the decision to go to PM pediatrics because I figured this is was their specialty and they would be better equipped to see him, rather than any other urgent care. ! But they did absolutely nothing. I'm honestly so mad they even will get paid for not taking my son seriously. Mommys-- always follow your gut. And i hope this review helps the next person from disappointment. Please stay away from this place !! read more

So its a Sunday afternoon and my son is sick. And he has a fever of 103 and because I am mom, I am nervous and scared to wait until monday morning to get him to his regular (wonderful by the way) pediatrician. I was not interested in going to a hospital and waiting a long time so I was excited to discover this place. We got there and we were seen, my son diagnosed, prescription written and called in and out the door in 25 minutes (would have been quicker but 10 of those minutes we spent waiting on the results of 10 minute strep test). The front desk person was super friendly. The nurses were bubbly and attentive and thorough with their care. The doctor was genuine in her care for my son and answered all my questions. I recommend whole heartedly to all the parents out there that get stuck like I did when its one of those off times but you really need to have your child checked out. My children are always happy to go to PM Peds when they are sick (as my daughter says- the Castle doctor!!!) We have always been seen quickly and treated well- especially by Dr. Katz. She has always spent the time to explain things to myself and my children (on their level). She even can get them to do a strep test without having to hold them down! Would always recommend PM Pediatrics and Dr. Katz! read more

We brought our 2 year old daughter here after she had severe stomach pain and a fever. The facility is clean and pleasant looking but unfortunately that was the best thing about it. My daughter had never been this sick before and she was, understandably, a bit hysterical and crying about it. The front desk man seemed put off by her hysterics from the get-go. This was followed by a nurse with no bedside manner whatsoever. After my daughter immediately vomited the fever reducer, she quickly wanted to shove it down her throat again. When I told her "Let's not do this now" she YELLED "She has a 102 degree fever we need to bring it down". This is not only a hysteria-filled reaction to a normal fever temp but it quickly made my daughter more nervous and she started crying even more hysterically begging to leave. At this point I was just praying for the doc to be good, for nothing serious to be happening with my daughter and to be out of there ASAP. In walks the DR who says hello. My daughter blubbered "I don't feel good and I'm trying to be brave" and the Doc snarkily says "I have Noooo idea what you just said." She kind of laughed like she just made the funniest joke ever. I was in shock. But for the sake of not further upsetting my already terrified daughter I simply quickly relayed whatever was needed to the Dr. She made a few comments eluding to my daughter overreacting to her illness (She refused to let me put her down and walk for the Doc. My daughter was never comfortable or even treated kindly there). We went back to the waiting area for about 10 minutes. The Dr. wanted to make sure she can walk and wanted her to calm down before we left. I could see the front desk man make a gesture toward my daughter with a smirk on his face to whomever was coming out to the waiting area (I didn't have a direct view of the door). I shouldn't have been so surprised when the person with whom he was sharing an exasperated look with regarding my daughter still crying was none the than the DR herself, who quickly erased the shared smirk when she turned the corner !! I see all these great reviews and I can't understand how our experience was so greatly different. Was it an off day?? I'll never know because I would never ever bring my daughter here again. The attitude and lack of compassion we experienced toward a sick 2 YEAR old is shameful and abhorrent. I give them an extra star because at least they gave her a medication that made her feel so much better and they weren't alarmists. read more

You dropped the ball tonight. You turned us away saying my insurance was not in effect when it actually is. You would see us for $300. Moonlight Pediatrics saw us and was great. Took our insurance. GREAT service in Suffern. Everyone there was GREAT. Never again to PM Pediatrics! read more

This place has been great to my kids who have been coming here for three or four years. The doctors have always accurately diagnosed the kids and treated them immediately. The location is nicely designed so that it's not cold, white and boring inside. My kids are neither scared nor bored when we come in. Way way faster than the emergency room. read more

Brought my son here after an allergic reaction to tree nuts a few months ago. Even though the facility was about to close, they took him right in and treated him. They monitored him for an extra hour to make sure he was stable enough to go home. Prescribed him some meds and an EpiPen. I also appreciated them following up with our regular pediatrician. read more

My son developed the dreaded 'pink eye' this afternoon (a Sunday) and we ended up going to PM Pediatrics to get it treat as soon as possible. They staff could not have been more welcoming to us. The wait was minimal (I loved that we could reserve our place in line, online, ahead of time) and Dr. Myers could not have been more professional, kind and thorough with my 6 year old. Such a wonderful place. Everyone is so nice. I was seen very quickly for a Friday night before the fourth of July. The doctor and staff were wonderful and very patient with my son. They called me a few days letter to check up on him. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a doctor when theirs is not open!!! read more
