I think Victor may be one of that LAST miracle missing links as repairmen between 50s to 80s left…read moreon this planet, and he's really not all that old. So far the man has helped me fix an 81' 23 inch Zenith console TV (by repairing the 9-160 board), and also a 1980 Zenith "Integrated Stereo" system. Literally every other shop and tech in a 50 mile radius had turned me down (for the last 10 years or so) on these specific devices - BUT Victor took a chance, and said basically "Eh, 50/50, I try... I love the weird old stuff." Well, the dude knows his stuff (weird, old or indifferent), and he didn't just try, he went far and beyond what any normal person hoping for a quick buck would do - and honestly, even IF he hadn't fixed these 2 items, I'd still just be thankful the guy is around and still having a passion for fixing this stuff. He really knows the old school basics of capacitance, soldering, schematics, etc vs real life experience and diagnostic. In a nutshell, Unicorns ain't real, until you literally meet one. A++++. The guy is a terrific go to imho thus far.

I recommend taking any vintage electronics to him. He's reasonably priced too. I thought I would drop off my item but he asked if I had time to wait so he could quickly diagnose my item - which he did.

Now that we are…read moremore dependent on our phones that ever, it's imperative you have a device with enough juice to get you though at least 8 hours before going into low power mode. Doing research, I found shops online that you could mail your phone to and they had the best pricing. My problem with that, was being without my phone for 7-10 days. When I started looking around on yelp, many shops had great reviews, but their prices were ridiculous. You can buy a battery for $25 on eBay or Amazon, it's a 30-minute service, So anyone charging you 3 figures is ripping you off. Especially when you consider as a business, you probably buy batteries by the dozen and probably pay closer to $15 each. Service took 45 minutes, cost me $80. I didn't have to mail anything or go without my phone for a week. Honestly, I only have one knock for these guys, they don't appear to want you in the store. I would have much rather liked to take a seat and wait for my device than be booted and asked to come back in 40 minutes. Funny enough, I had just grabbed a bite, had I known I couldn't wait, I would have dropped the phone first then grabbed my bite to pass the time. Either way, they get 5 stars. The price and service were as close to flawless as you can expect.

OMG, I CANNOT STATE ENOUGH what a gem this guy and his business is!!!…read more Dummy me dropped my phone today, no visible damage except for a crack in the backplate, but it worked fine. By 10pm I noticed that the phone wouldn't charge anymore, not through wire, not through wireless charging. I am a business owner and I need my phone all the time, so I was pretty freaked out. We looked around and found this guy, iDriveToYouFixIt, apparently open until 11pm. On a FRIDAY NIGHT, at 10.30pm, this guy drove across two neighborhoods to meet me at my house. Grabs my phone and goes to his car, opens and diagnoses it on the spot, comes back and let's me know that just a little contact to the battery had fallen off. Not a broken battery or charging port or anything worse as I feared, but just this little thing. So he goes and fixes that right there, clears out some gunk around the front camera (that had apparently built up from a previous front glass repair at a crappy repair shop), cleans up the charging port while he's at it, and replaces the back plate with a brand new one, all within 45 minutes - and hands me back a fully functioning, in fact improved phone and then charges Uber Reasonably!! Instant fat tip, instant mega appreciation, and 5 star review. I couldn't tip as much as I wanted but trust me, I'll leave 5 star reviews everywhere and drum up his business as much as I can and make all my friends and family use his service, he deserves it. What an amazing service. And on top of it all - he is THE NICEST GUY! Friendly, kind, humble, and moreover, super competent. I cannot praise him enough. If you have an issue with your phone, please use him. Thank you for your amazing service, Kendall (I hope I didn't butcher your name!) Bextewarî û serkeftinê ji we re dixwazim.

BEWARE: This place DAMAGED my phone would give negative stars if I could! This is costing me…read morehundreds to resolve. January 10th my phone screen broke and got my screen replaced for about 330. Fine at first BUT a week in I started to experience problems: 1. Camera condensation on both lenses-- my phone was not near any water at work and there was fogging in my camera from the inside. Over time internal corrosion as a result and my phone wouldn't turn on. I NEVER had this issue PRIOR to this repair so WHY are you blaming the customer? 2. Flickering screen-- LCD problem. TELL ME why am I having this already after a recent screen replacement? Paid $50 and took it to a repair shop in Auburn after my phone won't turn on and they said whoever fixed your phone did a CHEAP job and they should do customer service recovery because 1. It wasn't sealed properly and a cheap adhesive was used. and 2. Cheap quality LCD used during replacement. While they offered 250 to repair they thought it'd be more cost efficient for me to pursue service recovery with the original shop. Their customer service was LAUGHABLE: only fix the screen for 209! I rather pay more and get it done at a place that was more honest and less shady! Better yet maybe just get a used phone because the cost is almost as much as my repair. The auburn location even offered a better price if I did choose to pursue them too. HORRIBLE repair and AWFUL customer service!

The next day, I tried every troubleshooting suggestion I could find and it would just not power up. It had been fully operational 15 minutes previously. I called Nortech late in the day, around 4PM to schedule an appointment and to my surprise, I was told a technician could be there in 30 minutes. The visit would be $185. I had a bad feeling that I had lost a power supply board but I wanted to know for sure. The technician arrived as promised. He was on his way home to Federal way. He did the same checking as I had done and confirmed that it was the power supply. He told me this was a common failure and that the repair would be $795 but they would ahve to order parts. It would require the TV being dismounted from the wall mount. I decided to buy a new TV instead and he agreed with the logic of that decision. I bought another Samsung 55" OLED (still highly rated) for less than the cost of the repairs. The Nortech technician was courteous and professional.
