We saw some good reviews and had hopes for this one. When we entered we were quietly greeted, found a table to where our waitress said I'm sorry ahead of time, I've never done this before. We put in our drinks in and weren't sure what we wanted and asked for a few minutes. She returned to give us our drinks, which she also messed up on bc she couldn't remember what we asked for and we were still unsure what we wanted so we put in our kids order. She came back again and got our order. Then she just disappeared. You couldn't flag her attention one bit. Our drinks were empty, still couldn't flag her down. Finally the food came out but not like we had ordered. Like stated above we put in our children's order since they were hungry and we were still unsure. Yet all the food came out at the same time. Not only that but we asked for our eggs over hard and when they came to us they were over easy, simple mistake that can be fixed right? Nope, the person cooking loudly said, "you can't cook these any harder." Wow, well I'm sorry but they were clearly overeasy and my autistic niece is very particular about not having runny eggs. Our waitress was hardly around still and after that we got the check bc they had also forgot our bacon. No apologies or anything for the mistakes. Definitely won't be back. So rude. We were in town for a wrestling tournament. Our son wanted us to get take-out for him to eat breakfast. So we called within 10 minutes of our arrival and our take out order was ready. Two made to order, chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Very delicious! My husband and I went back to have breakfast of our own. It was definitely busy but props to the woman who waited on us and the woman who was cooking. The bread for the toast is so good! It seemed freshly made. The food was great and so was the service. For such a little and quaint restaurant, the quality of food and service was exceptional! read more

We stopped in this very clean small town diner for breakfast on our way home from a week on the lake in Sturgis. We were pleasantly surprised by being served some great coffee along with a really great homemade food. I ordered the Meeks Mill breakfast which included two eggs, two breakfast sausages, two pieces of bacon and freshly made hashbrowns covered with delicious country gravy. I also was served two pieces of their delicious homemade wheat bread toast. This was a truly an outstanding meal. The service was just as outstanding. We were immediately seated and served some really great coffee by our friendly server who returned multiple times to refill our coffee cups and to check on our needs. We were very pleased by this chance stop for breakfast. read more

Meeks Mill Cafe in Constantine Is a great place for a great breakfast! The bake their own breads every day. There a wide variety of choices at a very affordable price. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is like walking into the past. It is a hidden gem and many locals eat there! read more

Outstanding and adorable local restaurant with great service, nice people and delicious food. The omelet I had was piping hot, light and fluffy and made to order with sautéed fresh peppers and onions plus thinly sliced smoky ham. When you go here, you must get the bacon! It is the best ever.
