My husky and my chow chow come here weekly to play! I live in a condo with two big dogs and am a…read moresingle mom. without the convince and care of waggy hotel I would be screwed. My dogs have lots of friends here that they can run around with and play! I send them to board overnight or when I travel as well. I've gotten so comfortable with all the staff that it is defiantly the only place I trust to put my dogs. My dogs always arrive happy and my husky even cries of happiness when we turn down Oakton to go to "school". They always leave happy as well and then the take a nice long rest when they get home , which makes my life ten times easier. Taking my dogs here gives me and my daughter a well balanced life with free time, while giving my dogs a big place to play and exercise. My dogs love the staff and I believe the staff truly does care for my dogs and the others.

Yes, you were able to do just a cut last time she was dropped off even though it was also 3 months…read moresince a previous cut. I actually made sure to brush her body before the appointment and again, without even touching her hair you guys decided she was unable to get a cut only based off knowing it's been 3 months. The only option I was given was she needs to be shaved, to which I responded please don't shave her too short because what else was I supposed to say since I was being told NO when I asked for a cut only. You're contradicting yourself because those who have this type of a dog will know the one place that gets most tangled is by the face which is the only place she got a cut!! So yes, you're capable to cut when she has tangles.

This is my first review on Yelp but Brooks has been a tremendous help with training my dog, Cooper,…read moreso I thought it was necessary to return the favor. :) I got Cooper back in August of 2018 as he needed to be rehomed for various reasons--my boyfriend and I were quick to realize that he had not had any form of training while at his previous home. Desperate for any sort of help, I researched dog training facilities and found Brooks. While the price was steeper than I was expecting, the 2-week board and train provided a foundation for Cooper that I would've never been able to accomplish in that amount of time. It was obvious that Liz, our trainer, really cared about Cooper's progress and she was very transparent in what I should expect Cooper to learn in the 2 weeks he was being trained. I appreciated that she was honest and upfront on what the expectations should be, instead of making grandiose promises in order to get my business. The 2-week board and train also came with 3 follow-up sessions with Liz to go over the training and to answer any questions I had. I thought these sessions were immensely helpful and I appreciated each one. Since then, I have continuously used Brooks for boarding and daycare, both of which have been great experiences. Cooper is always excited to go to daycare during the week and comes back a tired and happy pup. If I had anything to suggest, it would be to add cameras for clients to see their dogs. I would love to be able to watch my dog via webcam while I am at work. Overall, Brooks has been a lifesaver and I wouldn't have been able to survive these past few months as a first-time dog owner without them. A special thank you to Brittany and Liz for being so wonderful to work with! :)

Colton was a huge help in us getting our Vizsla under some kind of control…read more He was super energetic and did not listen. Colton taught us the skills to help us control him better and get him to listen to our commands. Still has the energy but we can control him so much better now. Would definitely recommend training with them. We are so much happier and our dog is to.

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .
