New spot right in Downtown Kingston across from the Metro. Really nice to see more Asian food offerings in the area. If you're from the GTA, it reminds me of a Congee Queen type of restaurant as they have the regular offerings of rice and noodles as well as individual dishes chicken, beef, pork, seafood etc. Just a lot of variety going on which is good. Came here on a weekday night, and good news is that they do have parking in the back of the unit that is reserved for customers so no need to pay for metered parking at any time for this place. Good COVID measures with hand sanitizer, temperature checks and all staff wearing masks. The place inside is pretty spacious with plenty of seating but because of COVID they do alternate tables so you always have a table between. Ordered the Fried Udon with Beef (N12) and was pretty satisfied overall. Portions were really good and taste in general was just alright. Nothing really to write home about, the food is just okay. Service is decent and they check on you multiple times throughout the meal to make sure you have everything you need (water, napkins etc.). Happy to have another Chinese restaurant in the area with a restaurant with so much variety, again, taste-wise its just alright.

This was our first time trying out a new Chinese restaurant in Kingston - Meet Cuisine. We ordered takeout, and were quite pleased that there was a discount automatically applied for pickup orders. However, the price was still higher than other Chinese places. We ordered the cumin beef (3/5) and the spicy Sichuan chicken (4/5). The beef was good, but the cumin flavour really overpowered it. The chicken was great and very spicy (we requested extra spicy). It tasted pretty authentic and flavourful. The coolest thing about this place is probably the setting - the restaurant itself looked gorgeous, and we will likely return after things return to normal. The main barrier for us was that this authentic food came at inauthentic prices. Looking forward to trying some of their other dishes!

Beautiful spot, clean and new. Only had the Schezuan chicken Bento, and for 12.99$, you get loads.. Delicious. Friendly service. A good stop for Asian fare.

Grand decoration. Very great service, the staff can speak in multi languages such as English, Cantonese and Chinese. Nice jazz music :) .The Dim sum taste very good, even taste better than most of the restaurants in Hong Kong.

The most authentic Chinese food in Kingston. It is a bit pricy, but food is delicious and beautifully plated.

Although many breweries/brewpubs have leaned into the now-cliché industrial look, KBC looks very much like an old school pub. Its walls are covered in the paraphernalia of countless beer companies, and there's plenty of nooks and crannies to sit down with your people and knock back some pints. Going to brewpubs can be a hit-or-miss experience for my non-beer-drinker wife, but KBC's enticing menu has something for everyone. Also, their sausage rolls appetizer was enough to ensure that we were both eager to try out the pub. The sausage rolls are of the bite-sized variety and come with a tomato-chili sauce for dipping. The puff pastry of the rolls was shatteringly-crisp, with some browning on both it and the exposed meat at the ends. I enjoyed the juicy, savoury meat inside and the tomato-chili sauce brought some acidity and heat to the show. Since we still weren't l that hungry, we decided to share just one main, the cottage pie. I always give mental kudos to places that use the proper name for this dish (it's only shepherd's pie if lamb is used) and take it as a sign that they know what they're doing. It's hard to have a *bad* cottage/shepherd's pie, but KBC's stood a bit above the fray with a bit more depth of flavour to its meat seasoning, as well as the smoked cheddar in the potatoes. As always, don't be too eager, as you will burn your mouth. Our server was very chill, but was still attentive and knew his stuff beer- and food-wise. It's easy to see why KBC is such a popular spot, and I'm glad we hit them up on this trip through Kingston!

Service was pretty attentive and our waitress was phenomenal and really upbeat and sweet. They were on it with the refills too. I really thought the kids would love their food, but they just picked at it during the dinner. What kid says no to waffle fries and a hot dog? Apparently the hot dog looked to juicy? lol. My french fry loving son, had no issues with his fries but skipped the chicken nuggets. My poor husband had to polish off whatever was not eaten by our kids after he ate his burger and poutine. I had the plantbased burger and I had no complaints. I will say their pickles are really great on the burger and loved their house sauce that came on it as well. Their fries are on the meatier side and I only ate a couple and passed the rest on to the kids, since the burger was pretty filling on its own. They had toy story playing on the tv in the restaurant. Super cute. It was pretty pricey coming to around $100 after everything was paid out. I'd probably come back for some apps and small bites in the future when visiting in town.

The waitress pointed out one element on the burger I wanted on a GF bun would have gluten and suggested removing it, which I appreciated. Lots of drink options too. This one was one of the most depressing experience I've had in my life. The kids were even sad First the grill. It's not the built into the table ones, so no air vents above to suck up the air. They bring the table side one to your table. Second, we had to complain twice about the weak flames/grill and that it was taking over 5 minutes to cook the paper thin beef slices. Kids were starving. Second, banchan. The side dishes. If you've been to any decent Korean restaurants, you know that the free side dishes are full of color and flavor. They only have us these sad dishes. The kimchi was fine, I just wanted some green onions, spinach, bean sprouts, something. Third... no steamed eggs! I don't think I've ever seen a Korean restaurant without Gyeran-jjim. That's one of our favorite side dishes, so that was disappointing. Fourth, garlic. We love getting thin slices of garlic to cook on the grill and eating it in our lettuce wrap. They claimed they didn't have any garlic. Odd. Location, off of the main road with plenty of parking. So that was good. The servers were kind, but had a tough time with the grill to work properly. We finally had one of the male servers to swap out the grill and the meat finally started sizzling. I think this place has great potential, but if it's a portable burner and barely any side dishes, I can easily do it at home. We love going out for kbbq for the full experience of endless banchan. We asked the front desk recommendations. She recommended Dianne's very close walk. We ate outside. It was balmy for Kingston in early June with temps in the 70's F around 8 PM; their average high temp in early June is only upper 60's F (around 20 C). Our server was friendly. She said people are enjoying the first really warm evening of the season. We both got their fish n' chips. It's an Alaskan Pacific haddock as opposed to cod or others used. This is superior to other fish n' chips I've had. This is delicious. Fries were good too, but the fish was the real star and about the best fried fish I've had.

Flavor-wise, I think they needed more. The sauce that came with it did not seem to give justice to the dish. Nice location though. And service was good. Food, unfortunately, felt short of my expectations.
