My party started at 12:30 pm and they were supposed to show up at 10:30 am. They didn't get there until 1:30 and the bouncy was not ready until 2:30. My party was over at 4 pm. They "let us keep it overnight" due to the delay at no additional cost but the party was over at 4. Keeping it didn't help with the party done at 4 pm. Then they were to pick it up the next day between 4-5 pm. They never showed, and we didn't get notified until 7 pm that they couldn't get it until the following day, Monday. I told them it's only ok to pick up the next day if they could pick it up before noon as we can't use our driveway with this massive deflated bouncy there. They agreed. Now, it's Monday, no notification and it's 1:30 pm. It's not been picked up. I had to call them, and they said they should be here between 4-5 pm! Total disregard for leaving their stuff at our house. They would hold us to a timeframe with their contract but somehow it doesn't apply to them. So, needless to say, their bouncy is still at our house. If you want to trust your bouncy will be delivered on time for your event and picked up when expected I would go with another company. I will mention they are reportedly (waiting for reimbursement) only going to charge me half the price since I only had it half my party and a $250 voucher for a future rental. I won't be using them again, even with this voucher. I should have gotten a full refund with this catastrophe.

Their prices are very competitive and it is nice to be able to rent tables and chairs from them to go with our water slide. One stop shopping makes it easy. I see that there have been some complaints about the reservation process being limited to email and text, but I personally prefer it that way as I don't always have time to call and try to work out all the details over the phone. It is nice to have that firm email confirmation in hand with clear reservation times. My only request is that they start allowing payment via credit card, PayPal, or other means rather than only accepting cash.

There was a delivery fee added that was not in the original quote but it was in line with their online policy. After I made this review they had sent me a series of emails complaining about how I worded the review. They tried to get me to change how it was written and felt that the fact they did not provide the delivery fee in the original quote would come across like they were hiding something. I had even informed them that I would add to the review once the event happened so I could add about the quality of their service. I would avoid these people at all cost as they are truly not a professional organization. They tried repeatedly to pressure me to alter the wording of my review and I did a few times. I was not however going to lie to make them happy. There are more than an ample number of these types of businesses in Houston...choose a more reputable one. They have left me a week away from the event for my daughter with no dunk tank and no bounce house. Now her birthday and celebration of her bone marrow transplant will likely be derailed because of them trying to bully someone into writing a review that was worded the way THEY want it written. Have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Houston As an addition/update to my previous review I thought it important to note that there have been 18 previous reviews of KingKong Party Rentals and they have all been filtered out. What does filtered out mean? It means that Yelp has algorithms in place to prevent deceitful behaviors by businesses to put up fake or solicited reviews. While this does not affect most companies what is important to grasp from this is that EVERY positive review they received was filtered out due to this type of attempt at putting up fake reviews to make them look better than what they actually are. See the pattern? They are an untrustworthy company and you should spend your money elsewhere. New update...they have tried to post some more fraudulent reviews to their site to make themselves look better. They have had 20 filtered out now. This guy is a really deceitful person and you should avoid him.

We thought it worked perfectly! They also suggested that we use the platinum linen on the table where we placed our pictures so that they would be the star rather than a red or brighter color. And the champagne charger fit perfectly pulling in the gold tones of the candle holders. It was a delight to work with all of the staff and all went smoothly. We thought the pricing was reasonable.
