[MUST READ] Before I write this review on Mega Motors in Dallas, Texas, everything is 100% factual and honest with documentations, testimonial/witnesses, and me being out of a car. I purchased a 2016 Chevy Cruise 3 weeks ago and automatically had problems with the car. The sensor was bad, the motor was bad, the timing chain was off, ignition was bad. There were several things wrong with the vehicle. I took it to two mechanics (good friends of mine) and that's how I knew it was no good. They told me to take it back IMMEDIATELY. I begged the car lot for more information on my car once I took it back. They stated that nothing was wrong. The car didn't start after a week, the hood kept smoking, the alarm would go off randoml, etc. So, how is there not anything wrong with it?? The car completely died and wouldn't turn on which resulted in me paying almost $400 to get it towed back to the lot. To this day, they STILL couldn't tell me what was wrong with the car (even though my two good mechanical friends told me what was). Safe to say, Mega Motors can't be trusted. They lack customer service, honesty, and integrity. I'm out of $2700 because of people who dont care about customer. Please stay away. read more

The epitome of shady used car dealerships. They sell garbage vehicles for ten times the value. Literally go anywhere else: they sold a woman a early 2000s dodge neon that was missing headlights and sporting a temporary spare (donut), a $500 car for over $3k. This is not ok. Other cars from their Facebook pages had tires so worn that you can see the wires. They have a busted up Kia selling for $7,000. The car is barely worth $2,000. Just a horrible place to go if you want great customer service, the price of the cars are great, but the attitudes inside are horrible, the African American women there don't want to work and they have the nasties' attitudes, like go work somewhere else, the other Hispanic women like Anna, and the other one , they are great, but that Kimberly, Mary and someone cat CAT, OMG, its like the ghetto there, I would recommend buying a car, but if you do , do it online and go to another location like Camp Wisdom or Buckner, at least there the attitudes match the person, the Lake June location smell, like weed on the inside, they are always on their cell phones, talking loud and just rude, its like they hiring they best friends off the street to come work, and don't get me started on the turn over rate with employees, the sales guys are about the only ones that are still there and provide good customer service, you can go look at a car and they are very helpful, but once they tell you to go inside your like, this is what I have to deal with, so unprofessional, who ever doing there hiring needs to be fired, they all need to take a training on how to keep and retain customers and how to act like your not in the hood but in a work place, I will be reporting this place to BBB, they need a inside make over and bad. So far, so ok. Customer service here at this location is eh, ok, but needs a huge overhaul! I had to look past the f-/:ery of what I had seen when I walked in! I bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber on 10/31/17 with Crystal the admin, and Smalls my salesperson. Decent/clean and cutelooking little nugget. No major issues. $800 (deferral plus my first weeks payment)out of pocket for the trade. MM had pissed me off once about my employer, and another time about the keys to my truck that I was going to trade in. I had to raise my voice a bit because they were saying some things that were unusual to me. Anyhow. MM is the most ghettoest/ratchetest(if that's even a word) car dealership that I've ever been to in my life! Lol! The so called employees and sales people smoke, drink, and cuss on the job! I can't make this shhh up! My main focus was to trade my truck in and downgrade and get a cool deal on an even trade. So those ghetto trash employees I wasn't concerned about. Would I come here again to buy another vehicle? Maybe to the Duncanville location, but not the Lake June one. About Crystal and Smalls, those 2 employees were cool, hence no issues with them. Cars here are As Is with no warranty. Mostly junky looking, but I had seen a tiny handful of gems such as the one that I got. Anyhow. No issues so far. Here's the minor issues(so far): Oil Leak(getting that fixed) Transmission Pan Leak(getting that fixed) Catalic Converter Check Engine Light Reading(eventually) I only have to deal with MM for 6 months(until June 2018) and then I'm good to go! Decent car, horrible people. I received a call from a reference I put down when I purchased the vehicle saying they received a call from mega motors which is actually Home Boy finance. The employee from mega motors proceeded to tell my reference that she was a "co signer" on the vehicle and that I was behind and if I didn't pay she would be responsible. Again this lady is a reference not a co-signer. I called mega motors to find out what was happening and why. I was told by a male manager that he had no idea how this happened and was extremely sorry and would get to the bottom of it. Today I call to follow up and was told that no one reported that and there was nothing they could do. The female manager in sales specifically stated it did not matter to her what personal information her employees gave out to anyone as long as they were successful in collecting a payment. She literally said money was all they cared about and they would go to any lengths to get it. So so sad. This is already not the best place to get a vehicle and I'm very thankful I was able to get a decent car just sucks their business is ran so shady. read more

Came across Mega on cargurus. I was looking for a late model higher mile 4Runner. I came acrossed one in Texas with mega. I live in Illinois and was a bit reluctant at first being a older higher mile vehicle so far away but I went out on a limb seemed like a good deal and the right 4Runner for what we needed it for. They made it super easy smooth transaction. I flew in with a cashiers check and was met at the airport in the vehicle and drove it back to there establishment. Extremely friendly and catering. Everyone there was extremely nice. Was offered to stay for lunch and unfortunately I was pressed for time and had to hit the highway. Was given a $100 check for a hotel stay from Mega. I've honestly never felt the need to be a loyal or repeat costumer with any dealership in my life until now. I usually shop around a lot. But after this smooth catering transaction and extremely honest and clean suv I will be a repeat customer checking on from time to time! Thanks again! God bless you all! read more

Do NOT trust these people, for any reason. The prices they list for their vehicles online are, in fact, the down payment amounts and not the "real" prices. Multiple websites may agree on the price of one of their cars, but the "actual" price can be as much as four times that amount! This is called FALSE ADVERTISING. Then afterwards they lie on the phone and block you number , and send you all around to different people Before finally talking to somebody about where your car is and why the towed it . Exceeding the minimum down only shortens the length of the loan and does not reduce payment amount. They have to know their cars are crap and want you paid off as fast as possible before the car grenades itself. Their service center is nothing more than a three wall horse stall. I didn't see any ASE certified plaques. They offer a warranty of were they may or may not credit your account at the end of your loan. They are not equipped to handle any engine repair that requires the engine to be pulled such as lower cam seals. For weeks we called our sales person and asked for guidance on how to go about getting an oil leak fixed. Lack of response lead us to at least have our regular mechanic look at it. Diagnosis: $700 to replace lower cam seals. At that point we stopped making full payments to the company until we got an answer on how to get this fixed. That got their attention and we were invited to their make shift service center so they could evaluate it. Their answer: We can't fix it and we won't give it back until you catch up on your payments. I repeatedly asked for other options to no avail. I was open to partial reimbursement or buy the car outright at reduced cost and I would eat the repair in full. So far the best choice was to cut my losses and let them keep the car as I will surely not pay $5000 for a $1500 car. I should also mention I was already in the car an additional $350 for battery, front tires and a tie rod. read more
