Used these guys last week. Casey was our driver and he was bad ass. Picked us up from downtown…read moreLouisville and rocketed us into bourbon country. SUV was pristine and spacious, good sound system. Jesus wept and Hurricane Helene sent rowdy storms all the way up the Bourbon Trail. I felt safe as a babe wrapped in his mother's arms as Casey piloted us through the impenetrable rainstorm, telling stories and educating us about bourbon all the way. We had a few appointments to maintain... Casey's intimate knowledge of all the distilleries allowed him to steer us in the right direction, as locations closed due to power failures and flooding and the sins of man. God's anger was biblical on this day! Would use these guys again in a second. Five Stars. Ask Casey about Doris!

We used bluegrass last month for a 2 day custom bourbon distillery tour. Casey was our driver and…read moreguide and he was awesome. He picked us up from Louisville both days and took us to different areas based on the planned itinerary (one day east with stops to Woodford reserve and one day south with stops to maker's mark). The car was an SUV, clean and comfortable. Casey was a great driver. He was friendly, great conversation and had interesting tips and side detours to fill out gaps in the itinerary (ask for the sausage biscuit from the gas station for breakfast if it's on your way). They also work with you creating an itinerary during the planning stage. Would highly recommend anyone that wants to plan a custom distillery tour.

We absolutely loved our experience with Whiskme Transportation going from Louisville Kentucky to…read morethe Frankfort area for a day of bourbon tasting. From start to finish, it was a phenomenal experience that was unforgettable. I reached out via email regarding pricing and the owner was very responsive and provided us with a price sheet. WhiskMe Transportation was very easy to work with and everything went smoothly. Stephanie was our guide and driver and she was so nice and accommodating and made our day extra special. Highly recommend Stephanie as your driver! My husband was feeling tired and she made an unscheduled stop at a gas station for him to get a Red Bull drink. We had an amazing day and learned a lot about bourbon and enjoyed all of our three tastings and lunch. We booked the three tastings on our own since our group was particular about the places they wanted to go. I love that this company helps plan if you would like support/advice from a local to help you have a phenomenal day in bourbon country. We did the hard hat tour at Buffalo Trace, went to Limewater restaurant for lunch, J Mattingly, and Wild Turkey. My favorite was the J Mattingly tasting experience because it was so personal, intimate, and an unique tasting experience and I love the smaller bourbon places personally. It was truly a hidden gem! An all around exceptional experience! I highly recommend this company when in bourbon country!

Top notch service and highlight of our anniversary weekend visit to Louisville…read more Highlights: - Josh was super friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. He embraced us wanting to have a good time, gave us historical information about the area and each stop, and entertained all our questions. - Personal driver and car is super convenient - Local guide helps you make reservations and gives advice on places to stop--some that were on our radar and others that were not. - Did a combination of official tasting tours, walking up to the tasting bar to choose what we'd like, and having cocktails -- different to how wine tasting works in Napa where it's typically all appointments for tastings - Had a reservation for a lovely sit down lunch with nice small plates at Willet which never would have thought to do and ending up being one of our fave meals of the trip. We paired it with some neat pours and cocktails. - In between reservations, can make fun unplanned stops: we went to a small place that ended up being one of our favorites and even a liquor store with a bar in it to pick up a special bottle. Got to meet his wife too which was fun. - We visited during Hurricane Helene and 1 distillery had a reservation at closed so he audibled for us on other options the day of. He also arrived super early to ensure he got us in time due to the weather. - Can bring drinks in the car so we brought along a bottle of bubbly to start the day off right. Bottled water was provided. - Price isn't bad with 4 people as larger tours for 32 people are just a little less Midlights: - For 1 day need to stick to one area as distilleries are spread out. We did Bardstown and was great, but next visit might try Woodford, etc. Lowlights: - Had to play phone tag a bit to get the initial convo. You submit an inquiry on the website and they call you back. After that, you can converse over email. Loved this tour and highly recommend it to anyone interested in bourbon.
